Next Day-

Everyone from Hope residence except Hope has left the house to attend the Sports Festival, a event hosted by thier School. Ultear also went together with Akeno and the other girls to spectate the event.

[quatz- why didn't you go together with them?

Hope- are you serious? you want a single boy, which is me, to walk between so many beautiful girls?

quatz- what's the issue with that? rather I'll say you should be proud.

Hope- sigh.. let it be, you won't understand.. of how it feels when every other single guy from the school glares at you with jealousy for being together with such beauties all alone.

quatz- hm? I'll destroy them if I would've been in your position, for even looking at my girls with such intentions!

Hope- ugh... you're right but also immoral at same time, though in a different way.. you can't just 'Destroy' them for only that reason...

Hope- guess I'll head out myself, they must've reached half way to the school by now.]

Hope in his regular School Uniform blinked away as far as he could in his school's direction, he didn't know the updated range of his blink so he thought that it was a good way to experiment it now.

Hope appeared right infront of the Kuoh Academy's school gate with a cloaking after effect of his Skill ⟨Blink⟩.

'? did I just cover the whole distance from home to school in a single leap? if I'm not wrong the estimated distance should be almost 600 meters.' thought Hope in a astonished mood.

Hope saw the other students of Kuoh Academy entering the School Campus and he also merged himself with the group by doing the same.

Hope went into an deserted area of the school and ⟨Requiped⟩ himself into his PE Clothes as it was stored inside his ⟨Spacial Storage⟩ rather than being kept in the locker room.

he didn't expect to straight away blink into the School grounds or else he would've left the home dressed up in his PE Uniform to cut off some slack, either way it's not a hassle.

The PE Clothes contained a plain white T-shirt together with red shorts specifically for the Second years and a blue headband representing his team.

For first years they had blue shorts and the third years having dark blue shorts, the opposite team to 'team Blue' was 'team Red' with Red headbands. All the yearly batch of students had their own separate Sports event with various games to participate in.

For Hope, he took part in the three legged race with his partner for the race being 'Aika Kiryuu'.

"By the way where is she?" Thinking of Aika, Hope used his Draconic Sense to locate her position in the dense crowd of students in the vast field and he soon found her standing in the team booth together with her friends, Hope coincidentally also sensed that the Akeno and others had also entered the School premises.

Reaching to Aika he first covered her eyes from behind to surprise her.

The other two girls only chuckled silently at Hope's actions and didn't spoil his plan of teasing Aika.

"Bastard." cursed Aika without holding back, "You fking piece of shit! remove your hands and explain me where were you these past two days!"

"Aika, Who are you talking about? I guess you're mistaking me for someone else."

Aika forcefully turned back and caught his collar as she glared at Hope for being so laid back easy, "Sigh... I'm only wasting my energy by cursing you ineffectively, now what's the plan? are we doing it or not?" asked Aika.

Hope unconsciously stepped back from Aika, "You want to do it here, in Open? everyone will see us you know? I really didn't know you have such fetish.." "Bad Aika~"

Aika Frowned as a tick raised on her forehead, "Tch.. I'm not talking about those things you perverT..! we can do it later after the event." Aika suddenly got an idea, "Hey Hope.. if we win our race, I'll give you an Special Reward in private, you want~?"

[quatz- wow.. that was quicker than expected.

Hope- you expected this?

quatz- you didn't?

Hope- ahm.. guess I did.]

"Khyaaa!! Aika is so cool!" one of the girls exclaimed with an excited face after hearing Aika's words.

[Host has triggered an Special event Quest.]

[quatz- that's something new to see.. no direct skills this time?

Hope- it's interesting this way too.]

"Okay, you better remember you words, Aika Kiryuu~" said Hope looking straight into the eyes of Aika, "Challenge accepted."

Mic- Everyone, please form a proper line infront of the pandemonium according to your class division and year batch, the opening ceremony is taking place!

Issei spotted Hope together with Aika, "Hope San!" Issei did call out to Hope but now he was troubled as he didn't know what to say next, he's still frightened of Hope for some reason.

Hope heard Ise's voice and looked back to him, "Oh, Ise it is, did you see the other guys? probably they should've reached by now." Hope was casual as usual.

"aa.. e-eto.. I guess they are with the other classmates for the Opening Ceremony, let's go there as well." Ise replied, "Murayama San and Katase San, nice to see you, same with Aika." greeted Issei when he also noticed them with Hope.

"Oi, what do you mean by 'same with Aika'? huh?!" Aika got a bit irritated by how Issei only greeted her in a half a.s.s manner.

"ha-ha-ha.." Issei laughed it off in a awkward way, "Let's go back, before the student council or some Sensei finds us slacking off.."

All of them joined the group of students in the ground near the temporarily made pandemonium and Hope also spotted Ultear waving at him from the Spectator side of the ground, so he also waved back at her.

[Hope- Parents do come to see the sports festival huh..

quatz- don't be upset, for you, I'm here.

Hope- hm. I know and am grateful.]

The Principal gave an Boring Opening speech of fair play and team Spirit with no cheating and all and Later Sona Kaichou also gave an spirit raising Moral Speech as she represented the students of whole Academy all alone by being the current Student Council President.

Although while giving the speech Sona somehow spotted Hope standing amongst the crowd of students and started stuttering while giving her speech and kept staring at him with an embarrassed red face. Tsubaki, Sona's Queen and also the Vice-President of Student Council, acted on time and pinched Sona's waist from her side making Sona come out of her delusions as normal once more.

After the end of Opening Ceremony, the students were exhilarated to prove themselves by giving their best results in the Sports Festival, actually the other motive was to impress their crushes by showing their prowess.

All the Students gathered into their respective team Booths and the Sports event started taking place with the help of PE teacher and the support of other teachers.

Sitting in the team booth of blue team are, Hope, Aika, Koneko, Kiba, Rias and Irina with some other regular students participating as well.

"Why am I supposed to be in the same team as him!?" exclaimed Irina in a dejected manner while sitting next to Hope.

"Why do you have so many issues with me?" Hope sighed to how Irina always behaved rude around him.

Irina glared at Hope, "Cause I hate you to my core! from the time when we first met each other when Michael Sama handed you over the Sword 'Ascalon' and I'm talking about the Sword which your Katana ate straight away without a second thought to how valuable it was!"

"Oh." Hope didn't know what say in response.

[quatz- by the way how many swords have your Katana eaten by now?

Hope- I didn't do a count on it.

quatz- and recently that balance breaker thing also got sealed on your Katana.

Hope- hm.. Misaki, you there?

Misaki- yes Hope, I'm always here listening to you.

Hope- how do I unseal my balance breaker on Fate?

Misaki- one method is by stabilizing the energy output of your Unleashed Balance Breaker and other is by having a supplement to hold off the killing intent inside your Katana.

Hope- K-Killing intent?!

quatz- first time?

Misaki- the Killing intent is from the Dead souls from the previously devoured Red sword which was stored inside you together with the 'Elemental Devourer' Jacket.

Hope- then how do I remove it?

Misaki- you have to purge their Souls from your Katana and the quickest method is by having your Katana devour a high level Holy Sword.

quatz- Durandal is a Holy Sword, right?

Hope- yes it is, but it's Xenovia's sword and I won't steal it or something just for the sake, better I find a substitute.

Misaki- the 4 sword pieces engraved into your Katana are also of an High class Holy Sword, maybe finding the other pieces might help?

Hope- hm. I'll do that by asking Michael next time about it when we meet.

quatz- Partner, just go and destroy the seven heavens, it's the best thing you can do right now! extort them for the other pieces!

Hope- shuddup quatz.

quatz- hmph. don't blame me later for not suggesting fun methods to such things.

Koneko tapped on the dozing off Hope's shoulder, "Hope, wake up.."

"hm? yes Koneko?" Asked Hope after coming out of his thoughts.

Koneko pointed out on a tree on their side where a black cat was sitting on a branch and staring at them.

"Don't worry about her, she's just here to visit us and look after her sweet sister." replied Hope in a delighted manner.

"who's the sweet sister? I don't know that Cat." refuted Koneko arrogantly and Hope also didn't reprimand her as she is yet to know about the truth of her past.

Hope patted Koneko's head and let her be as she is now, he walked alone near the tree to greet the naughty Cat, "nyaa~" m.o.a.n.e.d the cat as she jumped off the branch and landed perfectly on Hope's head.

Hope grabbed the Cat in his hands and started petting her and rubbing their soft cheeks together, "Long time no see."

"Nyaa~" purred the cat, 'Vali is also here with other guys.' Kuroka used telepathy to talk with Hope in her cat form.

"Oh.. I sensed him and others in the Spectator zone, why is he here?" asked Hope.

'He said he has something to do with you and I don't know anything about it, by the way are you not missing the scene on the ground?'

Listening to Kuroka, Hope curiously shifted his gaze on the Sports ground. There he saw the beauties of the Kuoh Academy Battling with each other by the means of Cavalry Battle. From the blue team was Rias, Tsubaki and Irina with a girl from Sona's Peerage and from the red team was Sona, Akeno, Xenovia and also a girl from Sona's Peerage.

There were also other participants in the game but they seemed to be knocked out earlier without holding a proper fight. now only these two Maniac teams were remaining with thier headbands placed on their head.

"That's immense Battle Aura present there."

[quatz- I know.. and I have a good idea to improve it furthermore.

Hope- no, I don't want them to start using magic in the broad daylight infront of so many normal people, so keep the idea for a next time.

quatz- oh.. you don't need to worry, my idea has unlimited uses.]

"HOPE SAID HE WILL GIVE A KISS TO THE WINNING TEAM!!"

'What the f.u.c.k?! who's that?!' Hope looked at the direction of the voice and saw a smugging Aika looking at him.

"Thank me later." said Aika.

Suddenly a wild Aura was raised in the Battle ground and for some reason all the participants were buffed up.. specially a sadistic literal Queen.

[Hope- Aikaaaa!! what the hell is she doing?! does she wants to see dead bodies piled up in such a cheerful healthy Event?

quatz- she's a woman of Culture.

Misaki- hm. I agree.

Hope- Nani dafuq?!]

What next we saw was a quick battle between both of the teams where the winning team was standing high and mighty after the victory.

Of course it's the Red team, Akeno's team.

Most of the people don't know what happened but Some knew, they had started using magic midway but before anyone could use high level noticable spells, Akeno produced electricity through her feet and made the opponent horse's legs go numb and due to the unstable stance of Rias's team, Sona instantly snatched the headband on Rias's forehead.

Coming back to the booth Rias glared at Hope for some reason, "It's your fault that we lost!" said the anxious Rias.

"Eh?! what did I do?" replied Hope being innocent.

"You know the reason very well, Akeno won't loose by any means if you are on the line!" stated Rias.

"Isn't that a superstition?" to this words of Hope, he got a blank faced furious Glare from Rias.

Rias also noticed a new presence, "What is she doing here?" asked Rias pointing on the lazy cat sitting casually on Hope's head.

"Nyaa~" meowed the cat looking at Koneko in the Booth.

"Don't 'Nyaa' me, you ugly cat." Koneko was harsh as usual but Kuroka didn't mind it, she was happy enough by at least getting a response from Koneko.

"It's lunch break, let's go meet everybody else." suggested Irina.

Everybody then moved on to the Spectator zone meant for the Family and friends of the students, their they saw many Familiar faces enjoying amongst the crowd by eating home-packed lunch boxes.

"Eh? you're pretty much accommodated in having fun here." Said Hope looking at the bunch of people, "Right Vali?"

"Obh. bHope?" Vali instantly swallowed down the food in his mouth, "Well, luckily we all were free today so I thought why not meet you here?"

Accompanying Vali was his whole team, Aurthor, Bikou, Le Fay and a sincere Dog besides Le Fay.

"Where's Ultear? I don't see her anywhere here.." said Hope as he looked around.

Akeno who had joined them recently for the lunch break replied, "She should be with Rossweisse San right now, Afterall we can't leave her all alone in this place and being with together an Sensei won't be an Issue."

"Wise decision." replied Hope with a praise.

Bikou who was confused hearing this, spoke up, "Who's this new character named 'Ultear'? new Peerage member of that Red head?" he pointed out at Rias.

"Who's Red head, you Monkey?! don't take advantage of our hospitality, you guys are still supposed to be the part of an terrorist organization!" Fought back Rias as she felt insulted by that nickname.

"Yes, she's Right." Agreed Hope, to which Rias seemed delighted by the support, "Bikou, Buchou's hair is Crimson coloured, not Red, so call her Crimson head from now on, or else it's inappropriate to Buchou's image."

For some reason, Rias went in sudden Despair and cracking sounds were heard.

"Hehehe.. I'll remember it." replied Bikou, he was in his complete Human form in which he looked like a normal 20 year old Chinese civilian with tad monkey like face. No offense~

Vali looked at the group of Rias and noticed someone important missing, "Where is Sekiryuutie? I mean Hyoudo Issei."

"Also the Holy demon sword guy." Arthur followed up.

"Woof~ woof~" Fenrir cheerfully barked at Hope as sniffed an Familiar person's scent present on him. Le Fay was very shy by being surrounded by so many people so she only focused on petting Fenrir and glancing at Hope time to time.

Hope ignoring the topic on Issei went towards Le Fay and patted her head, "Long time no see Le Fay Chan."

"H-H-Hai... long time no see." Le Fay was embarrassed for how casually Hope approached her to greet.

"Lolicon"/"Pedophile" uttered Koneko and Kuroka simultaneously, and later glanced at each other with a blank face.

Others by the time had started having Lunch by themselves, meanwhile normal students such as Aika went to meet their guardians or parents who came to watch the Event.

After some time Ultear and Rossweisse also joined up with the group to have their lunch, and later Issei and Kiba also came back from the direction of Clubroom.

Rias seemed a bit angry when Issei came back, "Issei I know of your situation but can't you hold back even at such important days that you sneaked out together with Kiba to do such things behind our back." reprimanded Rias.

Issei was confused but soon understood what she was trying to say, "No Buchou! you're wrong and misunderstanding things!"

Kiba nodded in agreement, "We just went to the ORC clubroom to visit Gasper and also to feed him the dose of Issei's blood." he explained.

"Oh so that's how it is..." Rias had calmed down to their reasoning, "Then it's fine."

[quatz- wait, those three guys were all alone in the whole building?!

Hope- so?

quatz- isn't it suspicious? that vampire looks literally like a girl but is a boy in reality and these both swing that way!

Hope- quatz, stop it or I'll vomit my fresh ate lunch!

quatz- no.. it's just my thesis nothing else, but Imagine such things taking place where a innocent trap is himself trapped into the immoral acts of two thirsty..

Hope- I DON'T WANT TO IMAGINE SUCH THINGS SO STOP!!

quatz- Kukuku..]

"Oye Hope..." called out Vali from his side.

"Yes?"

"I have some things to discuss about our recently made promise.. you remember right?" asked Vali with a meaningful smile.

'I knew that's the main reason you're here, probably Ophis informed him about my return.' thought Hope and replied, "Yes I know very well, don't worry about it."

"I'm observing them for a while now.. but who are those guys?" Ultear asked looking at Hope.

Rias immediately spoke up in a cold manner, "Terrorists."

"Ara Ara Buchou.. you seem like to be holding a grudge against them.. Ufufufu~" teased Akeno.

Rias frowned, "not against them," while saying this she glared at Hope, "but a Certain person for sure."

Asia whispered to Xenovia who was besides her, "Did something happen between Rias Buchou and Hope San?" she asked her as Xenovia was her closest friend in the group.

Irina who heard it accidentally replied to Asia before Xenovia could, "It's all happening because of a single word, let's just enjoy this fight and let them be themselves."

"Buchou will loose..." declared Koneko while sipping on her boxed orange juice through a straw.

For some reason all of them who heard Koneko, nodded in agreement unconsciously.

After the lunch break getting over it was the Second part of Sports Festival games, which also included the three legged race.

Lazing in the booth, games such as egg&spoon and sack race took place, by far now 'Team Red' was leading in the Festival with most of the first place in games but it didn't bother to Hope as he only took it as a necessary school event to attend, afterall he's not that much into school related activities.

Mic- Participants for three legged race please come out on the ground!

Hearing the announcement, both Hope and Aika looked at each other at the same time, "You ready? now don't tell me you are nervous to perform infront of so many people." mocked Aika.

"nope. not at all." replied Hope nonchalantly.

Aika somewhat seemed to be troubled, "B-But I am... Nervous." her cheeks were red as she said this.

[quatz- say farewell to your quest.

Hope- Gulp.. no it's not too late, I still have my name.

quatz- how will that help you in the race?

Hope- Cause My name is.... 'Hope'.

quatz- .....

quatz- Okay, I won't disturb you for a while, good luck.

Misaki- Good luck host, or should I call you, 'Hope'.]

Hope approached Aika and firmly placed his both hands on her shoulder, "Listen Aika, if we win this race, I'll fulfill any of your one wish and I guarantee it myself."

[quatz- what's the meaning of 'I guarantee it myself'? isn't it more easier this way to cheat her?

Hope- do you think I'll do such a thing?

quatz- ..... I do, that's the reason I asked... Idiot.

Hope- ..... didn't you say, you won't disturb me for a while?

quatz- P.u.s.s.y... now go and Don't disappoint me, partner! for the sake of completing the quest and increasing your IQ!

Hope grabbed Aika's wrist and walked into the ground dragging her and took the spot in one of the row on the field of three legged race, "We can do this Aika, trust me, Okay?"

"I trust you but my Mom is watching me from the Spectator zone." replied Aika in a bashful manner.

"please, For me~?" Hope tried to Appeal Aika.

Aika had an bright red face to Hope's request, "Hahaha.. you can't be helped right?" "don't worry, this Aika here is generous enough to lead you on the path of Victory, afterall I dragged you in this race, Ufufufu.."

"Yes.. Yes.. The Aika I know is very generous." Hope played along in the act.

"Thank you.." Aika came back to her usual self, "But the deal of granting a wish is still on the table, Okay?!"

"Tch.. and here I thought you forgot about it."

Later a event managing student tied their each one leg together properly according to the rules of the game.

"Aika grab my waist properly and lean on me if you want to." Hope guided her to maintain a comfortable posture.

"Sure." replied Aika and did as Hope told her, but when Hope's hand slid over her waist to hold her, she had goosebumps all over her body with a fl.u.s.tered face, 'Mom sure would be misunderstanding things now!' thought Aika and was a bit relieved that her dad didn't attend here as well due to his job, or it would've been a chaos by now.

"Enjoying the youth, young lads?" smirked Azazel as he was acting as an referee for the Sports Festival, "Ready, Participants?"

"Yes, Azazel Sensei!" replied Issei and other students participating in the race.

[Hope- fk I forgot, Issei is also in this race!

quatz- you scared of him? I can blast him straight away with just my imagination.

Hope- I'm not scared but he's a potential threat for the race as his partner is Asia and both of them have the physical advantage of being a Devil!

Hope- Where else Aika is only a normal human and sadly I'll have to suppress my movements to match her speed.

quatz- Partner, don't you dare underestimate her just cause she's a normal human, trust her the way she's trusting you, it's an game of mutual understanding to your partner.

Hope- Thanks.

quatz- hmph. mention not.]

"Good Luck, Hope! do well Asia!" Cheered Akeno.

"Issei and Asia, defeat that arrogant Prick Hope!" exclaimed the energetic Irina from her booth.

Rias wanted to offer a thing to Issei as Reward to win the race but soon realized something, and glared at Kiba with a meaningful smile.

Kiba panicked immediately and shouted as per King's order, "Issei! win this race and we'll go out together this weekend!" Kiba was embarrassed shouting this out loud where other students could hear him, but it was a demand from his King Rias which was absolute.

"Good." Rias was satisfied with Kiba's way of doing it.

And it worked pretty well, "Asia, let's give our best in this race!" Issei was motivated to his best with this Reward on the line for him.

"Yes, Issei San!" Asia encouragingly replied back.

"Hai.. Hai.. enough gossips." Azazel was getting tired by this boring job, "Start!" he fired a Air gun in the sky.

*BANG*

Everyone started running with all their will and determination on the line to win the race, some fought for the sake to increase the leaderboard points of their team, some for their personal accomplishments, Rewards and one performing with all his might to complete his Quest.

Surprisingly it was not obvious that only two pairs were leading the race, one being the pair of Issei with Asia and other of Aika with Hope. Issei's pair had gone through days of practice for this single day and on the other side, Aika's pair was totally based on mutual trust and invisible communication of feelings.

Issei and Asia were trying their best to win the race where else Hope was only focusing on matching his movements with Aika and totally forgot about the distance covered in race track. For him it's okay if he does not wins, at least he tried his best, but he not in the least wants to embarrass Aika infront of so many students by stumbling down on the track due to some selfish reasons.

Suddenly Hope felt a ribbon touching his abdomen and to this he at last paid attention to his lead in the race.

*Whistle!* "Aika and Hope of Team Blue has secured first place in the race!"

soon enough one more whistle rang, "Asia and Issei of Team Red has secured second place in the race!"

[Host has completed the quest and received an Lucky draw Lottery spin.]

Hope didn't exaggerate on this moment by not believing of his victory, afterall his focus on matching Aika's steps was the key to Victory.

Although someone else was sure very surprised and happy, "We won..?" Aika was still not able to believe it, "WE WON! HAHAHA!!"

[quatz- don't tell me this girl went nuts after just winning a mere race..

Hope- for you it maybe a mere race but for her to take first place infront of so many other students is a huge achievement.

quatz- for us, you mean.

Hope- ?

quatz- it's an mere race 'for us', not only me.

Hope- don't go deep into the detail.. as if it matters..

quatz- IT MATTERS! ONLY I CAN BE YOUR PARTNER!

Hope- say the same thing when I have my Katana in my hands.

quatz- ahm.. there can be a exception.. BUT ONLY 2!

Hope- yessss...]

After some time of the ending ceremony of Sports Festival, Rias's Peerage went off somewhere in a urgent manner, when Hope asked them about it, Rias replied with "Call for an important task, I'll explain after coming back." and Akeno nodded to this, so he didn't bother much about it.

Now Hope was left with Ultear, Rossweisse and the team Of Vali. They headed back home together to talk properly after getting fresh.

I know its a Big chapter.. the reason is I didn't wanted to make parts of this event as it would've gotten boring with the waiting day for the update of second part.

So here it is! a Chapter as big as two normal chapters! afterall I didn't update yesterday...
