when hope woke up he realized he was in a different room from the inn he was in, he saw Red was in his room too.

hope- yawn.... Red, where are we?

Red- we are in the preparation room.

hope- what preparation room and why?

Red- young master when you were asleep the preliminary elimination round was announced in the midnight when we were at the inn.

hope- then why didn't you wake me up? and how did we win?

Red- young master you were tired from the training and the preliminary round was easy, I just had to find the way to the arena called Domus Flau and reach there in the first top 8 spots.

hope- just that?

Red- though there were some specifications but they didn't matter, my dragon senses were enough.

hope- yawn....why do I still feel sleepy.

Red- probably bcoz of the medication you took yesterday before sleep.

hope- ...oh yes..yawn..

Red- plz let me change your clothes as we have to wear same coded dress with our team insignia on it, as you can see the insignia is that of a western dragon.

hope saw the insignia on Red's clothes.

hope- okay.

Red then clicked his fingers and hope was changed into a red suit of a nobility.

Red- those clothes are made of my skin, they won't tarnish or break easily and comfortable for fight.

hope- thank you...

hope said in a small voice as he was still sleepy, he could hear loud noises from arena. suddenly an announcement was made.."team from the preparation room 8 plz come on the entrance of the arena as you are gonna be called out."

Red- let's go young master, I'll carry you on my back so you can sleep well.

hope- hm..

Red carried hope and walked out of the room and waited for thier name to called out.

Lola- now plz welcome the team who placed first in the preliminary rounds, TEAM!!> 'EXOTIC NEXUS'.

crowd were confused if they should cheer or not as they had never heard a guild with this name.

[the results for the preliminary round: sky labirynth are as follows.

1st- Team Exotic Nexus

2nd- Team Sabertooth.

3rd- Team Fairy tail B.

4th- Team Raven Tail.

5th- Team Lamia Scale.

6th- Team Blue Pegasus.

Red then walked towards the arena and stood beside the second place.

crowd was astonished to see such handsome man entering the arena, they saw that the man carried another handsome young man on his back.

Red saw 2 familiar faces beside him.

Red- hello there, we meet again.

sting and rogue were startled seeing this person here!

rogue- what are you doing here?

Red- my young master and me are gonna play this game.

sting- this is not a game!! this is the biggest magic tournament in the country, YOU A.S.SHOLE!!

sting didn't know who red was, as he was put to sleep before he could see him.

hearing sting shout hope almost woke up, and sting fked almost fked up.

Red was now at a level of anger that no one could describe, hope felt the heat from Red's aura and woke up.

hope- Red! don't do anything stupid!

Red hearing this voice calmed down.

Red- yes young master, plz sleep again, you are not fully recovered.

hope- hm, but plz don't do something stupid to ruin this tournament, this is very important to me.

everyone in the arena ground heard this conversation and were stunned, suddenly an old bald man shouted up.

Makarov- WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!! THEY ARE NOT EVEN FROM A GUILD AND THEY ARE ONLY TWO MEMBERS OF TEAM!! I NEED EXPLANATION!!

hearing this, a short old guy wearing a chef uniform in the commentator room replied Makarov.

Yajima- Makarov please calm down, they are specially invited by king Toma.E.Fiore, they were given a challenge, that they'll be allowed in the tournament if they could win the preliminary round.

Makarov- then too! this is breach of rules!

Yajima- rules of this game is decided by the king, Makarov understand.

Makarov- hmph...still I disagree, we'll see how long they last.

Makarov looked away from him and this silently.

crowd started cheering so that the tournament would start.

Lola explained the rules of tournament-

The tournament will be divided into 5 days, with two events held each day, one battle and one surprise event. For the surprise event, each team will receive an amount of points based on their position in the end of it:

1st: 10 points

2nd: 8 points

3rd: 6 points

4th: 4 points

5th: 3 points

6th: 2 points

7th: 1 points

8th: 0 points

For the battles, the winning team gets 10 points and the loser won't get any; if the fight ends up in a draw, both teams get 5 points.

The battles will be decided by the organizers based on the fans' votes(however, some battles are arranged according to the Fiore's King's d.e.s.i.r.es) and will be set up like so:

Team A vs Team B

Team C vs Team D

Team E vs Team F

Team G vs Team H

The arena is the entire battle field and the winner is decided when the opponent is rendered incapable of fighting within the thirty minute time limit.

everyone knew this rules beforehand bcoz of the guide book given to them while registering thier team, so all the participants on the arena had started talking to each others team, but no one approached Red as he looked dangerous and suspicious, but there was an exception.

Natsu- yo there! my name is Natsu and what's your name?

Red- you may call me Red.

Natsu- and who is this guy on your back?

Natsu saw a guy sleeping on the back of Red.

Red- this is my young master, he is currently weak, so that's why he is sleeping.

suddenly many figures came behind Natsu and girl in armor with red hair pulled him aside, another boy from that group came to Red.

Gray- we are sorry, for the inconvenience caused by him.

Red- its okay, people should know thier competitor's name atleast.

Gray- do you know that you guys look dangerous and are very suspicious in the eyes of everyone right now?

Red- my young master might be dangerous but we are not suspicious, rest assured.

gray hearing this started walking away and thought 'we are the one to decide, that if you are suspicious or not'.

after that suddenly a wall came out of the ground in the arena, it showed the points system of the tournament.(I have listed above.)and also had question marks after the no. of match day beside battle.

Lola- now for the competition part, each team can select one of their members to take part. and now, the grand magic game's opening game! let's begin "Hidden".

the question mark for the first day then changed to 'Hidden'.

the spectators and participants were confused about this game.

Lola- one person from each team will compete, I'll explain the rules after the players from each teams are decided.

the teams then started deciding the player who'll represent thier team in this game.

Red knew hope was still sleepy so he decided he'll participate first, he laid hope on his team booth in the arena and walked forward, till then everyone had decided thier player for this event.

Lola then introduced the participants as follows.-

Exotic Nexus- Red.

Fairy tail A- Gray Fullbuster.

Fairy tail B- Juvia Lockser.

Mermaid heel- Beth Vanderwood.

Blue Pegasus- Eve Tearm.

Lamia Scale- Lyon Vastia.

Raven Tail- Nullpudding.

Saber Tooth- Rufus lore.

suddenly a pumpkin mascot appeared through magic.

pumpkin- participants for "Hidden" plz come forward.

pumpkin mascot called them towards him.

Lola- we are about ready to begin! commentator Yajima San, is there a competitor we should especially pay attention to?

Yajima- Sabertooth's Rufus-kun is probably the crowds favorite, but I'm going to be watching Gray-kun, let's see what happens.

Lola- how about our guest for today, Blue Pegasus's Jenny San?!

Jenny- of course our Eve-kun, he's strong afterall.

Jenny admired her guild- Blue Pegasus.

the participants around Red were asking about the pumpkin's identity and were bluffing about thier powers..

until the mascot shouted.

Pumpkin- FIELD OPEN!!

as the pumpkin shouted this, a empty town was made with magic in the huge arena and every participant was separated from each other as they were inside the town, the participants were confused about what was happening and thought that it's an hide and seek game.

huge screens appeared in the corner of the arena and for each team's booth, the screens showed the display for each 8 player separately in the game.(player perspective screens.)

Lola- In this game, the participants are sent to different locations in a town magically created, which is filled with clones of the competitors.

Mages win 1 point when they attack another competitor.

Mages lose 1 point if they are attacked by another competitor or if they attack a clone.

10 seconds after being attacked, the Mage will respawn in a different area of the city.

Restarts can happen as many times as necessary until the time limit is reached, Participants can use any type of magic they want in this event. The winner is the Mage that has the most points after 30 minutes.
