Memory Recovery. Alexey's Offer. Old Friend.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice the night was over and the morning had come. The girls woke up simultaneously.

"Eveletta!" Eleya got delighted and hugged her sister.

"Who are you?" she asked. I saw the elder sister was hurt badly. Apparently, I'd looked the same, only I was stronger.

"A person loses their memory with Alyrra's White Glow," I sighed. "Sorry for not warning you, but there was no choice."

"What? What have you said?" Katta surprised. "It's impossible. The flower doesn't exist."

"It exists." I showed the girls the last white flower I had, shocking them greatly. "I don't know if Eveletta's memory will ever return. But I think it will because Narylna Emmer got some her memories back, just rather slowly."

"It meant the Emmers didn't lie…" Katta repeated, stunned. "My ancestors made a mistake and…" Tears appeared in her eyes. I was intrigued, but I didn't have time to ask a question. "The girl who died then was my great-great-grandmother's sister. So, I'm guilty in a whole family's troubles and in the spilling of innocent blood."

"No, you don't have a culprit's aura, because you didn't make a decision at that moment," I reassured the girl. "However, I would like to listen to this very complicated story. Just tell it a bit later. Talk to Eveletta first. Conversations with relatives will help her recover her memory soon."

While the girls were telling Eveletta what had happened, I was considering my further actions. There were only three hours left before leaving, so I'd manage to listen and analyze everything. Katta was the first key to completing Gromvald's quest.

I looked at the inventory and saw a curious change: the Alyrra's White Glow had moved to the class 'Legendary objects'.

The girls seemed to have gotten to the end of the story. Very quickly! However, it's good. I wonder what I should do next?

"Thank you for protecting my sister and saving me." What a good girl! She thinks not only about herself, but also about her sister. "I have a favor to ask." The girl blushed. I nodded in agreement. "Nobody has kissed me before. I was unconscious, so I didn't feel your kiss. Could you kiss me again?" She was very shy and made me feel awkward.

Wow! Am I really so lucky or do the developers monitor a player's mood at the entrance to the game, helping those who are sad or angry to be happy? I went up to her and kissed her silently. Eveletta blushed even more.

This way I would really become an owner of a small harem soon.

"I'm afraid I won't be able to tell you much." Katta sighed and handed me a thick book. "You'd better read this. The book is a history of our family. Just return it to me, please, once you have read it."

"Sure," I said, taking the large book with the shabby green cover. "I want to go farther, to Kavarnak, but I can't leave you here alone. Thus I have an offer for you." The girls got closer to me. "I offer you the chance to move to Oblivion. What do you think of it?"

"But why?"

"I am afraid that Kurbakht may send his people to take you to Kavarnak. He wants to judge Eleya, and he'll probably take you away so no one can tell me about Eleya. I don't know him well, so I assume the worst. In fact, he may also be an honorable man and won't harm you."

"Now you've said this… the situation looks even worse. I agree. Where will we live there? We have to leave our houses," Katta sighed sadly.

"You needn't worry about that. I'll help you."

"We'll go too," the sisters said in unison. What amazing hair they have!

"Then pack your things."

It took almost an hour to pack Katta's things, then to run to the sisters' house and take theirs. We went to the chief and told him about the girls' departure.

"Are you taking away all three of them?" the chief was surprised.

"Exactly." I hugged the girls tightly. "Don't be angry."

"Why would I be? The girls were without protection, but now…" the chief squinted and looked into my eyes. "They say you are a great man, and you exposed Nolg. Nobody thought he had killed our girls. There are also rumors that you do magic and use your sword greatly."

"I have power, and a lot of knowledge." I smiled. "After all, I'm immortal."

"You're right. Take care of the girls. With such a good man they won't get into any trouble."

"Thank you."

We got to Downhill's outskirts, and once there, I blew the fox-call. I had to wait about ten minutes, then the fox with emerald hairs on her head came out of the tall grass.

"Oh, what a cutie!"

"Beauty!"

"Hi, Reena." The fox was displeased at first, because she had to travel quite a long distance from the forest. However, the girls' compliments significantly improved her mood.

"I had to run," she muttered, but she was contented. "What happened?"
