Wonderful skill. Escape. Thieves Guild.

hat happened next was hard to describe. I was overwhelmed with incredible power that resembled a vast ocean. I seemed to be able to lift a huge mountain and throw it onto the Moon, dispel the most powerful tornado with a wave of my hand, and freeze the magma in the vent of a volcano with my breath alone.

Great feeling! Now the parameters were distributed into Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence. The skill points went into the 'The Mole's Hole', temporarily pumping up its level to 333.

Damn! This skill didn't have any restrictions on points. I'm a CHEATER!

In an instant, I grabbed the sword and a stick. With all my might I stabbed the guard commander with a stick and threw him fifteen yards away. The NPC's Critical Hit and Health bar dropped from level 125 down to five percent. The stick couldn't withstand such a blow and shattered into ch.i.p.s. I beat the guards neatly with the side of the blade, fearing that it would crack like the previous weapon, but nothing happened.

Ten seconds had passed, and none of the guard squad remained standing; all the guards lay on the ground, unconscious, with red HP indicators. I was approaching the king.

His four hundred and fiftieth level scared me. F.u.c.k.i.n.g bastard! Only now I drew attention to it, but I had to bluff to the end. It wasn't difficult to guess that he thought I would begin to gain levels in rapid leaps and become much stronger than him in a short period of time, which wouldn't be enough for him to kill me. I deliberately got angrier and gripped the hilt of the sword harder.

"Did you really think that I bluffed?" I looked arrogantly at the character who was stronger than any of the players. I knew this for sure, because no one else had even reached the four hundredth level. "My two hundreds levels was enough to scatter your guard, king." I pronounced his title as if I saw a pig in front of me. "Do you think I'll be able to defeat you if I add just another hundred? I don't want to be equal with you, it isn't interesting." He was overwhelmed with fear and, unable to bear it, the king quickly disappeared in the flash of a portal.

What a hassle! I'll soon become gray-haired here. I can be calm only with a thousandth level. However, the gods' levels might be much higher. I wonder if they even have any levels?

"I didn't expect you to be so strong," Arns was stunned, but I had no time to explain.

I rushed to the kaedd and put my hand on his stomach. "Forgive me, Hax, but I'm very scared."

If I only had seen the balls, I would surely have pulled them out, but I had to search for them blindly. I created a very small hole and began to gradually absorb the ball, increasing its radius, I hoped I wouldn't pinch a part of the stomach.

Damn, I was running out of time—only twenty-five seconds left. That's it! One ball is in another space, then the second. Something went wrong: Hax jerked with pain, and the thieves could hardly restrain him. I seemed to hurt his stomach, but I was finally able to get the second ball out. Then I fell to the ground with the feeling that I was crushed by a mountain.

The skill had a serious cooldown. It was such a shake-up for my nerves that I needed to sleep urgently, otherwise I'd go crazy. My whole body ached and terrible fatigue overwhelmed me. The kaedd spat up blood. I seemed to have hurt his stomach badly, and now he needed a life mage.

Hax grabbed my arm and helped me move. I couldn't walk myself. Why hadn't they warned about this in the description for the skill? Treff said nothing, but he showed our way silently. Then everything blurred.

I woke up around lunchtime, according to the watch. I couldn't determine the time because the place where I found myself had no windows. It must be a city sewer. Yeah, right, that was what the Thieves Guild looked like.

Treff came into my room. This time he didn't hide his face under the hood and mask. He had disheveled blond hair and gray eyes, but they glittered for some reason. He had the noble features of an aristocrat. The head of the thieves came in with Arns and Hax.

"You surprised me very much." Treff scratched his head. "Honestly, it was hard for me to believe Kurbakht's words, and even when Nargon confirmed the information, I still saw too much of the incredible.

First, I was embarrassed that an honest and fair stranger refused to obey the king, despite the exorbitant reward, then he saved completely unfamiliar people who were sitting in prison.

They might have been real criminals and not those whom the king was displeased with. Moreover, your abilities struck me. I've never heard of them—"

"Let me interrupt you," I said, "I'd like to talk to the saved people. Arns, give me the titanium balls, please."

"No problem," the thief handed them to me. "But why do you need them? After all, this is just a piece of rubbish, which can be melted down with the magic only, but the wizards will request such a high price that it will be easier to buy a castle."

"You've read the description, but one part of it is hidden."

"Is it hidden?"

"I guess I can see the information about the hidden part due to my Observation and some other skills. I'm able to see the fact of Concealment due to the combination of my skills."

"Well, I'm going to find out where the king got the balls, or maybe I will find some use for them."

I'd like to forge a sword out of them—it would be priceless. I opened 'The Mole's Hole' several times and added two more balls to my collection.

"Is it possible to use your ability where you took the metal from Hax's stomach to transport people over certain distances? Don't worry about the kaedd, our wizard has already cured him."

"No." I shook my head. "At least I couldn't manage this trick in the dungeon."

"It's a pity. Okay. Though, we won't have to change our plan."

"What plan do you mean?"

"You'll see pretty soon. It won't turn the country into chaos," Treff said, listening. "Something is wrong. Hurry up! To the central hall!"

Leaving all the talk for later, we ran to the place indicated. The guild leader ran so fast that we barely kept up with him.

There were many corridors, but finally, we found ourselves in a large square. Thieves and guards staged many fights. The place was in chaos. "How did they find us?" Arns was surprised. "They've searched for us for ten years and suddenly they've found us."

"Heck!" Treff hissed. "There's a traitor."

"But who?"
