Cold Hearted Devil Fell In Love

Chapter 34 - Leave Asap

Ivy followed Thomas to a shop that had glass cases for showcasing jewellery but instead there where phones encrusted with diamonds inside the glass boxes. Shaking her head she joined Noah on the sofa. A gentleman appeared with three phones on a tray and set them in front of us.

"What's this?".

"You need a new phone, your old phone was damaged at my company. I must compensate you". He looked cold and indifferent at the phones and pointed.

"Choose".

Whenever that day at his company happened or the time at the bar was mentioned Ivy saw Noah change he became colder. She decided to keep away from these subjects she was happy just going with the flow in their relationship.

She stared at the phones and bit her lip.

"There are diamonds on them, what if I lose it?".

"Then I will get you a replacement".

Rolling her eyes at the man's spending tendencies she couldn't help but sigh and pick outs the phone.

"I like this one".

I pointed to a black phone that had one sapphire stone in the corner. It looked the least expensive out of the three phones.

"Yes, miss no problem this is our unique new style of phones they can be bought singularly or here is the partner for this phone".

"I'll take it".

Noah paid for both phones, without even looking he signed and got up.

"You want to use couples phones".

"Problem?".

"No no".

Thomas took the bag and we left the store. Thinking of having a matching phone was a bit sentimental I wasn't used to it. Ivy thought that maybe Noah just needed a new phone and thought no more of it. They left the store and went back to the car. Ivy stood outside the car beside Noah.

"I have work to get back too".

"I'm going to see my dad".

Noah reached for Ivy and held her neck, she pulled back.

"I know reporters are looking into the now not so single most eligible bachelor, so maybe we shouldn't. Noah creased his eyebrows and held Ivy tighter crashing his lips to hers in a domineering way. After the kiss, he looked at her.

"Let the world know your mine".

"Ok, sure let me get beaten up by your die-hard female fans".

I shook my head at the man's thoughtlessness and left with Thomas. I watched as Noah's car left first. Thomas drove me to my dad's house. After my mum passed away it was never a warm home any more.

We pulled up to the large white Manor house and saw the lights on. There was a white BMW parked in the driveway, it wasn't my dad's style so I font know who was home. I looked at Thomas as he opened the door for me.

"If I say I'm tired get ready to leave asap".

"Ok, trouble?".

"Probably a pest".

"Mmm".

Ivy walked into her dads home with Thomas following behind. After entering the living room she smelt cigar smoke and saw her dad drinking with Cole.

"Dad".

"We were just having a Christmas celebratory drink and talking about you".

"Me?".

"Yes, how the past can be left there and with a new year you can move on".

"Mmm".

Ivy sat down on the sofa and put her hand out to show Thomas to sit beside her. Thomas didn't want to but he also knew his boss wouldn't want Cole sitting beside his lover so he sat down.

"This is my friend Thomas. Thomas this is my dad Victor Hughes. We are just dropping off a Christmas present".

Ivy put down the bag in her hand ignoring Cole like he was air.

"Ivy can we talk?".

"We have nothing to say to each other". Ivy smirked at Cole.

"But I have something to say to you Ivy, look I know I hurt you".

"Woah, I think the drinks may have been a bit too strong. You think I'll listen to you. listen to me I will never give you another minute of my time".

Cole looked shocked and angry at her response. He had liked Ivy being submissive and caring towards him ever since he had cheated on her with her best friend she had been like an ice queen and he wasn't used to it. He was a CEO and everyone gave him respect, he only had a fling or two why did she have to be like this.

"Ivy". Cole raised his voice.
