261. Extra Chapter 6: Who Will Be Our Baby’s Father (The END)

“Why can’t you have sex? I think the extraction…” The look on Yan Chuyang’s face abruptly froze. It was a long moment before he lifted his head to fix Wei Qing with a stare and said hesitantly, “What…What kind of extraction did you just say?”

Wei Qing stroked Yan Chuyang’s face. “Do you not want your own child?”

Yan Chuyang promptly pushed Wei Qing away, retreated to the corner of the sofa and said dejectedly, “Child? You’re thinking of getting a child?”

Wei Qing lowered his head, gazed into Yan Chuyang’s eyes and said, “You’re too flighty. I fear that someday you might transfer your affections to someone else, so it’d be best if we have a child.”

Yan Chuyang snorted and gave the cushion a squeeze. Eyes downcast, he said, “I can’t give birth.”

“I’m not asking you to,” Wei Qing said in a low voice. “There’s IVF, you know. All they need is your sperm.”

Yan Chuyang raised his head. “It’s that simple?”

“Yes, it’s that simple.” Wei Qing swept Yan Chuyang into his embrace without warning and said, “You don’t have to do anything. Just wait a couple of months and a little baby looking like you will show up.”

“But…” Yan Chuyang hesitated. “I’m not ready yet. Besides, I’m still so young. I think…”

“You don’t have to get anything ready,” Wei Qing said, patting Yan Chuyang’s shoulder consolingly. “I’ll be the kid’s father. I’ll handle everything.”

Yan Chuyang sighed, “Then I’ll have to split my affections in half.”

Wei Qing narrowed his eyes. “What are you talking about?”

“Half for the child, the other half for you.”

“You don’t have to do that.” Wei Qing bowed his head to give the tip of Yan Chuyang’s pert nose a nibble and said huskily, “In my eyes, you’re like a child. Raising one child is no different from raising two, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Just keep loving me. I’ll take care of the kid.”

Yan Chuyang’s heart melted at his words. After a silence, he said tentatively, “Wei Qing, actually… it’s not that I don’t like children. I just feel it’s not fair for you.”

“What do you mean?”

“You can have your own child.”

Wei Qing’s face darkened. “Idiot. Yours is mine. Understand?”

“Well then, let them take your sperm. I’ll be the baby’s father, and you’ll be its mother.”

The corner of Wei Qing’s mouth twitched. “No matter whose sperm they take, I’ll be the baby’s father.”

“Then let them take yours.” Yan Chuyang cuddled up against Wei Qing and said, “You got better genes. You’re handsome and intelligent. The baby will be perfect.”

“But…” Wei Qing lowered his head and, staring at Yan Chuyang’s well-featured face, said, “I want to see what your child looks like. If the baby has your blood, it’ll definitely grow into a very upbeat person.”

Yan Chuyang let out a sigh, his heart pounding at Wei Qing’s words.

Automatically rubbing Wei Qing’s collar, he hesitated, “Wei Qing, you’ve been getting increasingly convincing. Your words used to be a lot more explicit.”

Wei Qing pulled Yan Chuyang’s hand off his collar to prevent further mischief. Grasping it, he said in a deep voice, “Just do as I say, okay?”

Yan Chuyang was silent for a while, but eventually he looked up at Wei Qing and asked, “When are we going to the hospital?”

Wei Qing’s eyes lit up. “The day after tomorrow. I’ve made an appointment with a doctor.”

Yan Chuyang nodded, “You should have told me sooner. If you had, I would have started doing exercise more often and paid more attention to my diet.”

“It’s okay. I’ve been preparing you for it in the past few days.”

Yan Chuyang gave him a dirty look and said through gritted teeth, “No wonder you keep feeding me vegetable.”

Wei Qing smiled. At the sight of the gleam in Yan Chuyang’s eyes, Wei Qing felt a feeling of constriction in the lower abdomen and with that he involuntarily reached out his hand to pull Yan Chuyang’s collar.

“What are you doing?” Yan Chuyang grasped Wei Qing’s hand, his eyes disapproving.

“Take it off,” Wei Qing coaxed. “It’s so hot in here. You’re wearing too many clothes. It’ll make you feel uncomfortable.”

“I can’t take it off.” Yan Chuyang zipped his coat and said, “I came here with a plan.”

Wei Qing frowned. “What plan?”

“Cosplay!” Yan Chuyang stood up, looked down at Wei Qing and said, “I’ll go out later, and you’ll drink here. Take me as a college student forced to come here to entertain you. You want to molest me, and I resist, and then you try to strong-arm me. I’m overpowered and obey you reluctantly. Then we…”

“Who taught you all this?” Wei Qing interrupted him, his brows knitted, his face sullen.

“No…Nobody.”

“Is it Wei Yuan?” Wei Qing said pointedly.

Yan Chuyang hesitated for quite a while before he eventually nodded, “He said it could spice things up…”

Wei Qing gritted his teeth. “That brat! Even I can’t bring myself to teach you such things.”

Although Wei Qing was also looking forward to less decent methods, he was afraid that it might hurt Yan Chuyang’s pride, and that Yan Chuyang might feel discomfort during the process, so Wei Qing had never put it into action.

However, now an outsider had beaten him to it and told Yan Chuyang these things. Wei Qing felt uncomfortable.

Yan Chuyang was his, and he, Wei Qing, should be the one who imparted such knowledge to Yan Chuyang. Nobody else had the right to teach his significant other any of this.

“Wei Qing.” Having perceived Wei Qing’s silence, Yan Chuyang frowned and said, “Are you unhappy?”

“How can I be happy about it?” Wei Qing snorted. “I’m the one who’s supposed to teach you such things, aren’t I?”

“You’ve already taught me enough,” Yan Chuyang said with a faint blush over his ears. “I can’t let you teach me all the time. I need to learn some new skills by myself from time to time.”

Wei Qing remained silent, his face sulky.

Yan Chuyang sighed, “If you don’t want to, then I…”

“You may leave,” Wei Qing interrupted him. Then he said coldly, “Tell your manager I want the savviest waiter to come and drink with me.”

Yan Chuyang’s eyes brightened and he immediately straightened his shoulders. “Okay.”

With that he walked out gently and closed the door.

It was silent for about five minutes.

There was a knock at the door.

“Who is it?” asked Wei Qing, frowning.

“Hello, Mr. Wei.” Yan Chuyang’s timid voice came through the door. “I’m here to serve you wine. My name’s Yan…”

“The door’s unlocked. Come in.”

Yan Chuyang pushed the door open and entered.

Sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling window onto Yan Chuyang’s fair-complexioned face.

Yan Chuyang straightened his shoulders and stood there, clad in a blue school uniform. His eyes were limpid, slightly evasive but resolute. He stood there like a teenager in his early puberty.

Wei Qing looked at him, feeling as if he were stepping back in time, as if someone had really turned the clock back.

It was as if Yan Chuyang were in high school and they had known each other for a long time.

“Mr. Wei,” Yan Chuyang said softly, keeping a straight face, “my name is Yan Chuyang. Nice to meet you.”

Wei Qing smiled, held out his hand and said, “Come over here so I can kiss you.”
