Crap, I Was Rifted

Azul thought about the Administrators request. They wanted him to hunt down the other Users that escaped. He declined. To much of them still following the rules and leaving it up to him to survive the stakes himself. They were desperate though. And they knew he was a Pather, which s.u.c.k.e.d.

"Will you at least agree to this one thing." Galtana sent what she wanted to him. Azul gave a nod agreeing. "Thank you." Azul used his Pather power on all of them but Galtana. "Amplify!" She boosted him up greatly. Azul made sure they were loyal to the System and wouldn't be affected by the other User with the Pather power again. They gave consent so it made it easier. 'I will see you shortly, I know you are dealing with some things.'

Azul didn't say a word as he lift in the Rift. He was exhausted just from changing that little bit. With Galtana amplifying him and the others allowing him to do so. Azul wanted to sleep, but had to many things to do. While he had worked them over with a rewrite, he was completely open to their Biotic Strands. They were good individuals but all heartbroken from the damage to Rifts Earth and other places. The school that future Operators leave was hit.

Ending the lives of fresh graduated who reverted back to the 0's and 1 form. Never getting the chance to get sent out and do their job. The anger and saddnes of such high tier creatures made Azul sick. Enough to cause him to not want to do anything. Mental Cleansing wouldn't work against that.

Nether World-

"I think I am done helping the administration for a bit. Such disgusting creatures for the most part." Azul looked out at his people as he sat down. In his hand, different strands of World Energy circled around his fingers. He watched in fascination when it turned black. It was effect by his mood. 'I am almost poison in this state.' Removing a few from his inventory, he took them inside to balance them out. 'My Pather power.. is tainted by her. How the hell do I cleanse this?'

Hilda: It will pass according to Mira. Your power working against it already just a few days is all it takes. Sorry about the plan again, It was the best bet to strike at the User responsible. They are hunting her down and hopefully get her before it is to late.

"Dark Cosmos power." Shun said flatly. "I have never seen someone play with it before. It is not a toy." His face turned into a frown.

"Hmm, so that can be done that way. How interesting." Aurora said as she watched closer and started to do the same.

"I like this better." Tifa said smiling. She wielded regular Cosmo energy at her fingertips.

"Bwoom!" A Rift opened up.

"Get out." Azul said coldly. "To think you would just barge into my home like this."

"I just wanted to talk to you." Galtea said.

"No, now leave. Go back to your darling Indigo."

"You have to hear her out Azul." Galtana said next to her. "You owe her that.."

"Shut up." Azul said coldy. "I owe her a stab in the heart and a burial plot that is all." He felt the biotic strand come off the woman. "Oh, you don't know what she did before I confronted Indigo do you?"

"What did she do?" Galtana asked with a sinking feeling in her stomach. "It could not have been that bad that you would act this way."

"She gave Indigo access to my soul, through the link we share." Azul walked over to them. "Overlords Fury." The hands composed of fire and water floated to his side. In one hand was Froustmourne the other wielded Ashbringer. The cannons floated up above.

"You did what?!" Galtana looked at her daughter. "That is illegal without his permission! Which I know you didn't have."

"Wait so what.. happened exactly? Gat asked. "This link connects people right. So she just linked Azul together, not that important. Or is it? "

"Idiot." Dark Samus said. "She gave that bastard access to Azul psyche. His heart and mind. His everything. He knew what Azul knows. But I doubt he could have used it properly. It is about what he could have done. A lot of things important to Azul was in danger."

"He knew... some things." Azul said looking at her. "I ripped it out of his mind during the fight. As well as other information. It was not pleasant what he did to some Users."

"I didn't think it through mother. I thought it would help change him. Bring him back from where he was." Galtea pleaded. "If Azul was able to change so could he!"

"I don't think I can help you if Azul sends a report. I cannot even begin to think about what will happen to you."

"That won't be happening." Lluvia said appearing from a Rift with her father. She looked at Azul sternly. "Hold off on reporting it."

"No." Azul said flatly.

"This will have deeper repercussions than you can think of." Her eyes were pleading as well as her Biotic Strands. Which Azul currently couldn't shut out.

"It would be for the best Azul." The Trickster said. "I know you are angry, but this.."

"Do you really now?" Azul walked over to the Avatar and stared. "Tell me, are we friends? Do you consider me someone worthy of your daughter? Worthy of trust?"

"This is something different. I am telling you not to report it for your benefit." He didn't answer , which made Azul even angrier.

"Please don't do it." Galtana looked at him. "I consider you all of those for my daughter. Even though you two are no longer getting together.. I rather you not ruin this one thing. Please forgive her enough to do this." Her biotic strands were more than enough to give Azul pause. Galtana had done a lot in the background to make sure Azul didn't get dragged into things. A few things that she can get in trouble for.

"Azul... Please drop it." Lluvia said. "It.."

"I think you should as well." Quistis said behind from her seat at the table. The babies on her l.a.p sleeping. "I.. know you are angry but this can not be treated lightly."

"I agree brother." Ciela said. She survived the attack but Techlis was recovering still with several others. "I know you feel betrayed but they have to know what they are doing."

"I am with you either way." Lettie said. Kasumi and the Thessia sisters agreeing as well.

"Let it go. Trust me." Proto Man said. He sent his thoughts to Azul to get through to him. 'A report like this ends an Operator and pulls up everything they have done. Someone.. will get hurt from this.'

"Tch.. Fine." Azul turned to leave. "I.. Will never understand this..." He disappeared into a Rift. "..should re-evaluate my relationship with some of you again." The Thessia sisters, Lettie, and Kasumi followed with. Jaina was doing work in her Home World. To much stuff to fix. A good bit of the forces went to stabilize it.

"Now what?" Gat looked at them. "No matter how I look at it, he is definitely done with Galtea. As for the others.. He feels pissed as hell. I think it best if we go and get to work. We have a lot of places to maintain while he sorts himself out."

"I will do what I can mission wise." Alita said. Part of her wanted to have Azul do it. But another part knew it would hurt him in a bad way. "I think Zelda has enough on her hands as it is."

"Galtea can still help you." Galtana said. "As of now, she is on suspension. Azul may be done with her himself. But that is no reason the rest of you cannot benefit from her help. And you my daughter, can use the time to see what you will do next."

"Thank you mother." Galtea said. Her father was caught by the Traitor Users and turned. But Galtana found out he went willingly. He was currently rotting in Rift's prison where he belonged.

"I will help you as I can. But my time will be spent mostly in getting Azul back on track." Lluvia said thoughtfully. A part of her wanting to let Azul push them away. But that was just out of her own greed. "I will not let the others do all the work."

"Well, he did head to.. Oh no." Zelda said quietly. "He has gone to Doom. Without any of his powers. He is just a basic human.. The others are with the him that remains in mass effect. Meditating to help him balance out."

"Of all the stupid things to do!" Lluvia said. "Why is he doing that?"

"A quest he received a while back. The task was to go full basic human and see how far you could get in a World. The longer you lived, the better the reward. The drawback was the faster you died the more levels you lose. Not recommended for the average User." The Trickster said.

"The Avatar, Disturbing wanted him to do it a while back. So I offered it to Azul. To only go and use it when he felt it was needed. Guess that time is now."

"Time difference is bananas." Zelda said. " An hour here is a day there."

"Way more than that. Check it using his Nether World as a basis." Alita said.

"An hour here is four days there. That is not good for his current self." Zelda said. "I think it best if we pull him back."

"You can't. That World does not allow that. Excuse me, I have to check on something." The Trickster then left.

"It is best if we go as well. We have things to discuss." Galtana said dragging her daughter away. "Hopefully we meet on good terms again."

"I really hope this ends well." Tifa said. "Then again.. Indigo has been taken care of, so that is over. All that is left are the few Users to deal with. Once the war is over to. Things are looking up."

"Yeah, sure they are." Quistis said shaking her head. "Our husband has been betrayed by someone he loved and trusted twice. In a way, most of us cannot even begin to understand."

"I think he will grow from this." Shun said. "Then again... He is the Everchosen of Chaos. So that means he has grown stronger in that regard. There has to be something we can do to make sure he stays positive."

"I have thought of nothing." Tifa said as she put her hands on the table. "Anyone else?" Everyone said no and g.r.o.a.n.e.d.

"So how is everyone?" Azul asked as he appeared. He moved and kissed the women who enjoyed displays of affection. Soon as it finished, he formed back into one. "Why do you all feel so off? Did something happen again?"

"No everything is fine. What about yourself? Did you kick Doom World or whatever?"

"Nope, died day 4 actually. That place is just so Ugh. What are you all doing here lazing about? Decided to use your vacation days?"

"We have vacation days? We have vacation days!" Gat slammed the table and touched his screen next. "I have three weeks! I am using them all right now!" Seeing Azul nod he did so. "Later people I am going to the beach!" In an instant, he was gone.

"Heheehe hope he stays out of trouble." Azul chuckled. "Anyone else?" One by one several of them used the days up. "Why does no one read the paperwork I sent out?"

"Maybe they wish to stay close. I think the rest of us should go to a World together." Aurora said smiling. "One for those who didn't go on vacation Hehe."

"What did you have in mind?" Kasumi asked.

"Azul.. I want you to come to my World." Kat said plainly. "Actually have everyone who is not busy come with. I am ready to take a Halo. We can use it as a base for here in Mass Effect. Far from the reach of The Council and a few other trouble makers."

"Hmm, I have no problem with that. But the others here may."

"No. I am game to help Kat." Mileuda added.

"Are these Halos formidable?" Lettie asked. Skarlet seconding a moment after. Kat gave them both a nod. "Good." She looked to Azul with a serious expression. "I want the Halo to be a place for our child. That is where I want to give birth."

"Uhuh, the hell." Kat said. "Wait your extremely powerful so yeah that is a good thing more security for it."

"I will have children there as well." Skarlet added. "Raise them together."

"Oh since it is here.. I want to have a few Ardat Yakshi stationed there as a police force. Perfect security for the babies." Hotshot added. "It is only a small force of 173,000. But that is more than enough. The rest I will purchase with points to help. I am ready to take a more... Matriarch position."

"Are you sure?" Azul asked.

"Yes. I will leave the fighting to the younger ones and the other versions of me." Aurora stepped forward and grabbed his face. "Time for me to spend quality time and pick you brain the old fashion way."

"It will not be the same without you." Ruby said. "But I will keep him going out there." Aurora smiled and then walked off. She looked tired. Very tired.

"Is.. something wrong?" Azul asked everyone else.

"She feel like she failed you is all." Onyx said. "Do not worry, it will pass with her staying back for a bit. Reflection is good."

"So... about that nesting.." Alita yanked Azul up by the shoulders. ".. you are ready to i.m.p.r.e.g.n.a.t.e your Dragonflight aren't you."

"Of course. I am back in control." Azul smiled at her wrapping the place in his power. "And I have all the "time" in the World."
