-"What would have happened if I did things differently, what kind of outcome... would it be then?"

I told those words to my self while I was being impaled through the c.h.e.s.t by an arm, as sharp as a knife, and as long as a sword, while the finger of his other hand was going deeper and deeper into my good eye, completely destroying it.

"Even after coming this far, you're still unable to kill me, and after all... you sacrificed so much to come here. Tell me how does it feel?"

"...Go....tooo...HELL."

Now then, how exactly did I find my self in this situation?

It happened five years ago on a hot summer day, I was on the playground with some of my friends who decided to meet up with some girls and play truth or dare. They were probably trying to make the girls embarrassed because they were hitting puberty. I have to admit, I was interested in it my self, not because I wanted to listen to all the horny stuff they would tell us but because I was interested in a girl who was there.

Her name was Lea and I have to admit I was madly in love with her, or at least I thought I was, because eleven-year-olds don't really know what love is.

During the game, it didn't go as well as the guys hoped, because the girls were as curious about the guys just as much as we were, or better say they were even more curious!

At one point it was Lea's turn to answer a question or do a dare, but the girls all knew that the guys would give them something stupid or l.e.w.d as a dare so they all went with the truth, well everyone except Lea. She was always the odd duck of the group, beautiful but you never knew what she was thinking, and that's what I loved about her, she was just like me.

When she picked dare, David told her to take off her skirt and run like a chicken. And obviously, I couldn't just sit there and watch her do that so I said to David that he should change it, but he wouldn't listen and told me to shut my mouth, or else he would send his big brother on me. The coward that I was I just sat back down, and lowered my head. At the moment I did, I noticed something in a corner of my eye, and looked up for a brief moment.

I saw Lea with a smile, looking at me saying "thanks" while performing the chicken dance.

At that moment I thought to myself "I had a chance with her" and "she may like me as well", so after the game was over I pulled her to the side and told her I needed to talk to her.

She looked confused and blushed, I straight forward told her that I liked her and asked if she would go out with me, but her answer was shocking to me.

with a face, I never saw on a girl or better say a person, a face that looked so cold and so dead she replied with a NO.

After that, she went to explain to me that she isn't looking for a boyfriend right now and that she's very sorry. Afterward, she went home with a blushing face.

I stayed for a few seconds after she left I ran straight home, whereas usual mom and dad were fighting over not having enough money to pay all the bills. Whatever the reasons they told each other were, They were both lies!

After he finished his job dad went to a love hotel with our neighbor Ms. Whills who was a widow, and who he had an affair with. And mom wasn't all that great her self, after those fights she always goes to her room and spends all her money on online gambling or shopping. They tried to keep it a secret from me, but people talk... and I am a very good listener.

I got used to hearing them fight so I paid no attention to them and went to my room, which was on the second floor. After which I just threw my self on to my bed and fell asleep.

I don't know how long I was asleep but a familiar song woke me up, it was the ring tone on my cellphone, when I answered it the person who was on the other line was Finn, my best friend.

"Hey, I hope I'm not interrupting you in anything?"-Finn asked politely.

"Of course not, I was just sleeping a little, it's

nothing!"

"Hey listen, I sow the whole thing that went down with Lea and you, and I was wracking my brain if I should tell you this or not, but I think you deserve to know the truth!"

At this point, I was worried because Finn sounded serious.

"Ok... so what's all this about, you don't sound like yourself."

"...Give up on Lea... I know what kind of person you are, and that you won't give up so easily but please just give up!"

When I heard him say those words I couldn't believe it, Finn was my best friend, he knows how I am, that I'm stubborn and I often do things without thinking them through!

whenever I got into trouble with older kids, or someone from our class. He would always be the one to stop it and apologize on my behalf, I look up to him as my older brother, even if we're not related by blood. So the words he told me at that moment shocked me.

"W-what! Finn your joking right, why are you telling me this, you know I like her."

"I need something to eat... how could you Finn."

-just as Rin opened the door of his room and left it, his parents were coming from downstairs.

"There you are Rin, I and dad have something to tell you!"

-Rin looked confused by what his mom sad just now, because she had a happy smile on her face.

"Your dad and I are having a divorce, I know this must be shocking but try to understand us."

-Rin just slowly turned around and went back into his room.

"wait, son are you o..." asked his dad.

"Well I was hungry but I just lost my appetite, so I'm going to sleep."

-Rin closed the doors of his room and went to bed wanting everything that happened today to just be a dream.

-The next morning Rin woke up an hour later than usual, it was a Saturday so he didn't have to go to school. He got dressed and went down for breakfast.

"Oh, good morning son, have you slept well?"

-That was the first thing his mom asked him when she saw him.

"I guess..."

"ding, dong" -The doorbell wrong so early in the morning. Rin was surprised the mailman doesn't usually come until two in the evening.

"can you get that sweetie, It must be my new phone!" -sad his mom from the kitchen.

"Sure!" -Rin replied coldly.

-And after he opened the door on the ground there was a small package with only today's date on it, Rin picked it up and took it to his mom, who gladly took it with a big smile.

"Thx sweetie, now go get your breakfast and eat!"

"ok, mom!"

-Rin took his plate with fried eggs and a piece of bread and sat down next to his dad on the table.

"What is this?" -said mom holding an hourglass in her right hand.

"How shod I know! you ordered it didn't you?" -Replied the dad.

"I ordered a smartphone, not a f.u.c.k.i.n.g hourglass!"

-mom put the hourglass back on the table while she continued to argue with dad.

-Meanwhile, Rin took the hourglass and turned its head down so the sand started to fall, and the moment he did that, the next time he blinked once and opened his eyes, he was standing in a place where the sky was as dark as the night, and the flour yellow and made out of sand.

-In the sky a huge hourglass, he was surrounded, by people he didn't know. They have dressed in wears ways some old fashioned, some even older than that, but the only people he recognized were his parents, who stopped arguing and were looking behind him with terrified faces.

"What, where, how?"

-Rin turned around just to see A man sitting on a throne made out of the sand which was on the ground, it looked like the throne was about to collapse but somehow it didn't. The man sitting on it looked young, he had long Blond hair, deep dark eyes and was covered in black robes.

"Welcome to the OverWorld!" -He told them as they stood there scared and Terrified.

"Now then, let the game BEGIN!"
