Chapter 870 Vacation

No. 4 Privet Drive, a quiet and ordinary Muggle residence, is where Harry's aunt and family live. It is also the home where Harry grew up. It is a place that is not warm to Harry.

Hermione looked at Harry Potter's residence curiously: "It's a nice place, Harry."

Harry forced a smile, but he didn't want to go home at all.

"Let me help you unload your luggage." Duran's car was just an ordinary sedan. There was so much luggage for the two children that Duran had to put the luggage that couldn't fit in the trunk on the roof of the car.

"Thank you, Mr. Duran."

"Harry, what are you going to do with these old first-grade books? Should you collect them or sell them in Diagon Alley?" Higher education in the wizarding world is the same as in the Muggle world. Books are a very expensive expense, so many families are Bad people will go to the second-hand market to buy books.

Harry shook his head: "I don't know."

"I will put all the first-grade books in my room and spend the entire holiday reviewing them until I receive the second-grade book list." Hermione said her plan.

It was a good suggestion, but Harry didn't have a room yet, and if he had to live in the stairwell, there would be no room for these things.

Hermione obviously noticed something was wrong with Harry's mood. Her other classmates didn't go home with such bitter expressions: "Harry, are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Looking at the door, Harry took a deep breath, his heart heavy and his steps filled with lead.

"It's better if I ring the doorbell for you." As he said, Dulan had already pressed the doorbell.

"Here, who is it?" There was a brisk pace behind the door, and it was a woman who responded.

The door opened, and a thin middle-aged woman opened the door, wearing a floral skirt and a bib at home. When she saw Harry, her expression immediately dropped: "It's you, who did I think it was? It's too late. What are you doing, why don't you go back to your room quickly?"

my room? Harry was stunned, he didn't even know he still had a room.

Hearing the woman's shrill howl, Hermione couldn't believe her ears. Was this a relative?

"The room next to the toilet on the second floor is yours now, you lazy idiot." Aunt Petunia was really angry. She hated Harry: "Go upstairs quickly, and then come down to work. Do you hear me?"

"I heard you, Aunt Petunia." Harry immediately pulled his luggage towards the house and went upstairs. This was a rare opportunity.

Hermione was completely stunned. Is this home? God, this is hell, and this woman is an old nun.

Poor Harry Potter.

"You can go, we don't welcome any wizards here." Snap, the door closed.

Dulan didn't say a word.

"Dad, is this really Harry's home?"

"I'm afraid so, but both of Harry's parents are dead. This should be the home of Harry's relatives."

"Even relatives are not so cold-blooded." Hermione couldn't stand it anymore. She felt sorry for Harry.

"Forget it, let's go home. Since Harry didn't apply to leave, it means he can still persist in living." Du Lanxin said that it was shameful for these adults to vent the resentment of the previous generation on their children.

Returning to her home, looking at her parents, sister and godmother who loved her, Hermione suddenly felt that she was a hundred times luckier than Harry Potter. Although she was not a legend, her family was happy.

"Hermione, I have to spend these two months with your Aunt Grace. How about we travel around Europe?" Grace was already ready to have some fun.

Summer vacation is a happy time for all children, except Harry Potter. He craned his neck every day to receive letters from his friends, but there were none.

And his aunt and uncle didn't allow Harry to go out, so he had been working at home, and then he stayed in his room, a larger cell. It seemed that nothing had changed, and his one semester at Hogwarts was just a dream. If Hedwig, the owl sent by Hagrid, hadn't been in the room, Harry Potter might have thought he was crazy.

"Hedwig, why is there no letter sent?" Harry talked to the owl every day when he had time, but he spoke Parseltongue, not Eagletongue. Hedwig just stared at Harry with round eyes.

Compared to Harry's misery, Hermione's life was as gorgeous as fireworks, shopping in Paris, skiing in Sweden, and even going to magical villages in other parts of Europe under the leadership of Robin.

Because wizards have efficient ways of moving, office and commercial areas are concentrated, but residential areas are scattered. Pure wizard villages can be found all over Europe, and they have different styles. Some wizards even deliberately built their houses in the wilderness, with no human habitation for hundreds of miles. Anyway, they had floo powder and portkeys to go out easily.

The reason why Robin visited so many wizarding villages was entirely because he wanted to inspect them. With Duran's support, Robin is finally going to start promoting sliding shoe racing, which is a speed competition. She needs multiple suitable competition situations to establish tracks, wilderness, farmland, countryside, and towns. Just like the F1 competition system, points are obtained through ranking in each game. The one with the most points in a season is the champion.

However, due to the magic of the wizard, many rules still need to be formulated. Robin is planning to spend a year launching the Sliding Shoe Racing Competition during the summer vacation tomorrow.

After returning to London, it was almost the beginning of school, and Duran took Hermione to Diagon Alley to buy books.

"I wasted the whole summer vacation. I really can't believe I really wasted two whole months." Hermione started to complain now, obviously suffering from back-to-school syndrome and starting to worry about her grades again.

"You still have two days to preview your homework." Dulan smiled.

Hermione was convinced, but she quickly put on a face because she saw that the bookstore was surrounded by people. If she wanted to go in, she would probably have to wait in line for a long time, maybe an hour or two: "What's going on? Isn’t this a bookstore that only a few people come to all the time? Why are there more people than the snack shop this year?” Hermione always thought that apart from her, few people would love bookstores so much.

Duran saw the banner. It was a person named Gilderoy Lockhart who was holding a book signing event: "Isn't this your second-year Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher? It's clearly written on your book list. All the writings of Mr. Chulohart.”

Hermione was on the verge of tears.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't think two days are enough for me to read so many books." Hermione thought of something very serious.

Du Lanxin said that no one uses novels as textbooks, but his daughter is still worried about not having time to read these novels. She really doesn't know what other weird things will happen in the new semester.
