Crystalline Universe: Team Fortress 2/ Overwatch

The snow flew outside the window behind the imperial throne while silence reigned over the room. There is little to no light, only darkness and shadow dominated the atmosphere. On the long crimson tainted carpet leading to the obsidian coloured throne, Divine Maiden kneeled with respect and submission toward the dark figure in front of her. The figure advanced toward D.M. and ordered her to rise from the ground.

D.M. pressed her palm in front of her c.h.e.s.t and spoke.

[D.M.] - "Thank you, my lord! "

[Sniper] - "Those formal manners will not be needed in the future, you are officially a member of the Saints. " (Group of people who Sniper nominated to be a grand leader)

[D.M.] - "It's my honour to be standing beside you and taking such a reward from your greatness! "

[Sniper] (formally) - "No, it's my p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to able to hold the hands of a goddess like you. "

[D.M.] - "I do not deserve of that title, my lord. "

[Sniper] - "Nonsense, here, come to have a seat beside my throne. "

Divine Maiden showed her appreciation before walking up to sit on a throne beside the one sat by Sniper.

[Sniper] - "You have acquired a power beyond that of an ordinary man or should I say, beyond that of a God. "

[D.M.] - "From the concepts, you thought me, I have been able to obtain this power by fate. With this Chronos accelerator fused in my c.h.e.s.t, I'm currently able to travel from place to place without needing time itself. It also granted me the power to see the future or past beside me and to change the timeline of anything in proximity to my body. "

[Sniper] - "A set truly fearsome abilities indeed... but have you ever considered one thing? "

[D.M.] - "I'm all at ears, my emperor! "

[Sniper] - "Look around you and see... How are we living in an age where chaos ravaged the world, flames burned down houses and greed corrupted men... That's all because of fate, destiny can be modified but fate cannot be changed. You have the power to see beyond time and dimension, a power that cannot alter fate itself. This ability of yours should only be used in case of despair because seeing the future won't grant you victory and glory but can only make you arrogant and blind to reality. "

Divine Maiden bowed her head toward Sniper and talked with respect and gratitude.

[D.M.] - "I shall treasure the wise words of yours, you once again opened my blindness to a new vision! "

[Sniper, with a hidden smile] (in a grim voice) - "No need to thank me, consider this an advice between friends. "

*At the hotel

Karson busted in anger in front of Mike while pointing his finger toward Azur.

[Karson] (in anger) - "Work with her? You gotta be f.u.c.k.i.n.g kidding me, Mike! She the single most useless person in this world! "

[Mike] (in frustration) - "What's the problem between you guys? You are supposed to a team! "

[Karson] (in frustration) - "A team sure but a handicapped team? No bloody thanks! "

[Azur] (furiously) - "Enough! Since I'm such a bother to all, why don't we just part ways? "

[Karson] (in a satisfied tone) - "For once, you have been useful! Now let's get moving, Mergiann, Darlynn. "

Karson, followed by his two teammates, exited the room without a word and marched down the hallway.

[Karson] - "Just wait, Mike, finding her will be a bloody piece of cake. "

[Mike] - "Then I will be waiting for your news. "

Azur looked down the floor in shame and helplessness as Mike stared back at her.

[Mike] - "Come with me, I must help you out of this disgusting misery. "

[Azur] (in a depressive voice) - "What's the point anyway... I have always been like this... unable to archive anything by myself, unlike you guys... "

[Mike] (in a loud voice)- "And that's f.u.c.k.i.n.g right because you are by yourself. But today, I will help you archive true independence! Alone, you can't do shit but with a small push and support from someone else, you can even fly higher than an airplane. I see potential in you! So come! "

Azur slightly raised her head and stared at Mike with her crystalline blue eyes. Mike, in return, gave his hand which Azur grabbed and got up from the floor without hesitation.

[Azur] - "You have my eternal gratitude, mister Mike. "

[Mike] - "The best way to show your gratitude is to prove to me what you are worth! "

*Elsewhere, in a small aircraft.

[Karson] - "Mergiann, got anything about his wife? "

Mergiann quickly tapped on her computer screen and using all her 10 fingers, typed a set of codes inside the security configuration on the team's intel access. Finally, with a few hack codes, she managed to access the latest Talon flight record.

[Mergiann] - "From what you told me, Kadyn should be kidnapped via an aircraft but from the record, there is no flight in that area. "

[Karson] - "Then it must be done in secret, Sniper will never allow this act to be leaked. "

[Mergiann] - "What do you want me to do then, my highest access is to this point! "

Karson stood up from his chair and walked a few rounds inside the room before coming back beside Mergiann.

[Karson] (In a hesitant tone) - "Um... Well, there is a way though, but... "

[Mergiann] - "Well? "

[Karson] - "I know that base CTO- 211 at a small island on the Atlantic ocean may have the necessary information for our search. "

[Mergiann] - "You mean to hack that base? "

[Darlynn] (suddenly speaking) - "He means to raid that base! "

[Mergiann] (in a furious voice) - "What? You are suggesting that we betray the association AND become terrorists? "

[Karson] (in a hesitant voice) - "Yeeeeah... I... think there could be no other ways. "

[Mergiann] - "This is insane! Darlynn, tell me, how do we even do this without dying! "

[Darlynn] - "I will nobly tell you that the hack you just did here would put us on a death sentence for suspected treason so, at this point, we gotta stick to it up until the very end. "

[Mergiann] (in a disappointed voice) - "I can't believe this... We are becoming a bunch of dead meats. "

[Karson] - "As long as we don't blow our cover, we should be able to stay hidden as traitors of the association. "

[Mergiann] (in a depressing voice) - "Hell, why did I accept this job... "

Darlynn approached Mergiann and talked in a comforting voice.

[Darlynn] - "If we manage to make it out in one piece, imagine all the things we can accomplish!"

[Mergiann] - "In our dream of course! Do you think we can survive to betray Sniper like this? "

[Darlynn] (in a caring voice) - "That's just your speculation! We are a bunch of fantastic dreamers, we have the will and determination to make our dream come true. "

[Mergiann] (in a happier tone) - "Since we made it at this point... I mean... what else could happen? I guess I just have to accept the fact that we are way too crazy to be living a quiet life and we have to make some explosion and destruction that may finally shut us up by putting us to rest 10 feet under the soil.

[Karson] - "Okay... "

The young girl showed her palm to the young man and spoke with a confident voice.

[Mergiann] - "Karson, give me my grenade bag! I never liked Sniper and his "plan" anyway so let's set this mother f.u.c.ker and his guys on fire and die in the blaze like the mad people we are! "

[Karson] - "You know, the only crazy one here is you, you loli explosion obsessed girl! "

[Mergiann] (in a murderous voice) - "Call me loli again and I will make sure to fill your pillow with grenades! "

[Karson] - "I didn't say anything! Let's just get bloody going already! "

[Darlynn] - "Hehe... "

*A few moments later

The craft flew toward the small island while in invisibility and landed on one of the sandy coasts. It was afternoon and the sun was setting on the horizon.

[Mergiann] - "Data shows that the base is guarded by the aquatic team of the association. Now is the best moment to launch our attack since 2 of its members were away. "

[Darlynn] - "Who are the two other members left? "

[Mergiann] - " "World War" and "Cold War" are the two executioners guarding the base. If we confront them directly, we will have to face off against their crystal ability which for the moment I have no knowledge of their specific function. "

[Karson] - "Risky but worth the try. If we wait for long, "Civil War" and "Revolution War" will come back to their aide. "

[Darlynn] - "Karson is right, it's now or ever. "

[Mergiann, in an evil smile] - "Then I will be taking on "World War", he seems to be that kind of guy that will like explosions. "

[Karson] - "We will go undercover and Darlynn, you guard our ship. "

The pair posed together before exiting the hangar.

[Mergiann] - "Let's go! "

[Karson] - "RIGHT! "

[Darlynn] (in a "WTF" face) - "Seriously, you two should stop watching this much anime... "

The pair exited the ship ramp back to back while carefully observing their surroundings. Slowly and cautiously, the pair disappeared into the bush toward the hidden base.
