*10 years prior to the current story

Sniper obtained his post as Talon's military commander. Operation "Imperial reformation" has already begun at that point with at least 279 mafia associations all around the world who joined the cause. They funded battlecruisers' construction and the creation of a proper military force composed mostly of Omnics, newly created Bastion units and modified Orisa units.

Eight more years before Sniper's nomination to Commander of the military, the boss of a very influential Mob in Italie accidentally discovered Sniper's mysterious power. Wanting the skilled assassin to work for his gang in order to gain dominance over other associations, the Mob boss, Primo Gilberto, befriended the cold-hearted man.

The Sniper's younger sister, during this time, fell in love with the elder of the boss's sons and had a child with him. That child being Mike is the only heir to the Mundy family's bloodline. Sniper, who did not possess a child himself, wanted to ensure that his own philosophy is passed on to the next Mundy in the family line. He planned to get rid of the child's parents but he can never allow himself to betray Primo because as cited, operation « Imperial reformation » requires the funding and support of every one of its funding associations. Primo, was one of its original founding members and the most brilliant man of the Talon council, composed of Mob bosses. If Sniper killed Gilberto's son amid the most critical moment of the project, his support for the cause will be lost.

But when the bosses of 279 associations of crime syndicates sit in a room, discussing war and benefit, quarrels, disagreements, insults and even acts of violence are a common sight. Therefore, firearms, sharp weapons of any kind, bodyguards and explosives aren't allowed for security reasons into the council and in order to keep a bunch of greedy men alive in order to keep the funding they offer to the operation. But on one fateful day, Primo was shot to death in the council by three frustrated bosses from smaller gangs. Sniper could have stopped the bullets but he didn't. How did the three of them manage to sneak in weapons? One simple answer: corruption.

With the death of Primo, the life of the young Mike who, at that time was only seven years old, has been turned upside down inside the hell of the "Crimson night". Sniper, by promising the second son of Gilberto the position of the boss to his dead father's mafia, allowed himself to kill without consequences the new boss of the association, Mike's father.

It was the night of the 14th of February, two months after Primo's death. With executioners making sure no one ever sees the ordeal, Mike's mother, Amelia Mundy, was killed in cold blood by Sniper inside her chamber. For the following hours of the "Crimson night", little Mike's relative: his uncles, aunties, cousins and other people who had an influence deemed negative to Mike is assassinated in their sleep. All of them have on the spot of their left eyes a hole from a sniper rifle. Finally, to finish off the carnage, Sniper executed Mike's father by accusing him of high treason against the association. Executioners remembering that night called it the second Saint Valentine's day massacre. Mike wasn't at all aware of the events.

The door leading to the room where Mike's mother was killed was sealed behind a janitor cabin days after the crime. The corpses of killed relatives were buried where no one could ever find them.

This bloodshed isn't without a witness. Ethan has seen it all through with his hidden cameras scattered all around the base. The room, the execution, the actions, nothing have escaped the doctor's eyes, he knows, one day, all of this can be used against Sniper...

Afterward, Sniper took in Mike by telling him that his father affiliated to Overwatch along with his mother. From that day on, Mike trained under Sniper's guidance and learned to think like the Sniper to one day, avenge his family.

When Mike turned ten, he had both of his arms severed to make a place for a crystal system. As the young boy grew, he met doctor Ethan and Kadyn...

Kadyn was created in a laboratory ran by biologists trying to create hybrids of humans and animals. Kadyn has her fox ears and tails genetically modified from her original body structure. Her cells are created from base proteins to resemble human cells. Her bone structure is a robotic skeleton, her organs are machinery and her brain is also artificial. She served as a slave, a spy and a servant for Sniper's secretary, the Judge.

Of all the things, Mike hated betrail, he thinks those who he gives his trust to are, to be honest as possible with him in all context. That's why Mike only ever trusted Ethan, Kadyn and Sniper because they were the only persons who for most of their life have been honest with him.

When Mike was ten, operation « Imperial reformation » was launched. Sh.i.p.s built all around the globe rose from their slumber as fighting happened all around the European, Asian, African and Australian continents. The surprise attacks coming from the technologically superior battlesh.i.p.s and their superior forces caught many countries off-guard, forcing the surrender of the weaker countries while stronger ones barely stood against the attacks. The American continent hasn't been attacked because, prior to the war, the engineer, Dane Conagher, has already developed and built battlecruisers capable of standing toe-to-toe against the invading Imperial forces.

*Present day

Sniper looked at the snowy mountain from his visor, the dead white snow flew like the angry souls of Sniper's past victims, hitting furiously against the red and white coloured armour of the killer.

His black cape floated from the raging wind like a vengeful ghost from hell while the pale blue light coming from the giant lens on his left visor analyzed the invisible mystery behind the white of the raging snow. Sniper stepped aside from his current position as moments later, a huge transport ship appeared and landed on where he stood. Sniper is a mysterious man for all the people he doesn't trust since along with Mike and the executioners. They all wore a mask and a full-body armour when they make a public appearance, hiding their faces and emotion. Sniper advanced into the ship and with a frustrated expression, wiped all the snow from his armour. The snow ended up slowly melting on the floor and eventually disappearing without a trace.

[Pilot] - "Are you seated comfortably, sir? May I start the take-off? "

The Sniper gave the pilot hand sign, showing his readiness and the craft took off as soon the pilot received Sniper's signal.
