Crystalline Universe: Team Fortress 2/ Overwatch

The dust inside the room slowly fell to the ground while the moonlight shined through the roof. The light inside the warehouse started as well alongside Azur and her allies' glowing crystals. Meanwhile. IDD stood fearlessly in front of them with an optimistic mind.

To him, people who helped crime or in this case, helped Mike, should be the one to fall no matter the circ.u.mstances since he believes that destiny only sides with the people like him, someone who did nothing but right, someone who d.e.s.i.r.ed revenge for the ones they cared.

Azur felt the heat emerging from her body as sweats ran down from her forehead. Though she acknowledges the executioner's great power, the sensation of fear comes from her body but not from her spirit.

IDD, on the other hand, understood the situation he's in but his faith in his power and destiny gave him the feeling of certitude in his victory against his enemies, thus keeping him calm and ready.

[IDD] - "Heh! I will give you people one last chance to surrender before I would have to make a mess. "

[Karson] - "We will battle to the end and never surrender! "

[IDD] (In a grim voice) - "Then pay for your crime and perish! "

Azur stared at Paxton and nodded her head before gradually standing up from the ground.

[Azur] - "Now! "

McCree activated his ability which created lend of air around IDD while Reinhardt charged forward with his thruster. Genji soon followed with his blades while Paxton created a perimeter of spikes around the executioner. Azur followed by sending her sapphires toward IDD alongside Mergiann who threw a grenade with the help of Karson's energy blast.

As all the attack approached him, IDD remained where he is without a movement.

Darlynn soon realized the danger her comrades are in as they charged recklessly at the executioner.

[Darlynn] - "No! Withdraw your attack! He got something up his sleeve! "

But it was too late. As IDD's crystals let out a blinding blue glow, every frame of images around him reflected on his icosahedron head.

[IDD] - "Final mode: Offensive rewind! "

With a single blast of his power, IDD forced everything around him to rewind but at a speed twice as fast as their initial speed. In a blink of an eye, Azur's gems returned to her and punctured her arms and legs while Mergiann's grenade returned to her and ripped the skin off her hand due to the extreme friction and speed. No one was spared as everyone had their attacks suddenly propelled by the seemingly invincible executioner.

[Paxton] - "Azur! "

Genji was quickly pinned to the wall by his own blades while Reinhardt crashed into the wall behind him. In a matter of seconds, 3 of them were already knocked out by IDD but the rest of them were far from giving up.

[Paxton] - "McCree, let's do this! "

[Darlynn] - "Count me in! "

As the three of them prepared to attack, Mergiann's grenade exploded behind them; burying Mergiann and Karson in a fiery explosion.

[Darlynn] - "Mergiann! Karson! "

[McCree] - "Come on, partner, focus! We must defeat him before he kills more of us! "

Darlynn, while uncertain of her friends' fate, had to accept the harsh reality of the situation by concentrating her mind on defeating the executioner.

McCree quickly created a set of lends around IDD while Paxton created spikes that pierced IDD's abdomen. The cowboy fired 3 shots with his revolver which by travelling through the lends, accelerated in speed.

[IDD] - "What a pathetic attack... I've seen better from a kid's cartoon. "

With a single snap of his finger, the bullets went backward toward McCree's weapon, destroyed his gun and caused the remaining ammunition to burst onto the cowboy's face.

In pain with a bloody face, McCree fell on the floor rolling as the fire caused by the sparks spread through his scarf.

[Paxton] - "Scheiße, we lost McCree! "

[Darlynn] - "Give me a hand, provide me with cover, I'll do the rest! "

[Paxton] - "von den Verfluchten, alright, do it! "

Darlynn charged headfirst toward IDD but the droid didn't even bother to activate his ability. As Darlynn thrust her rapier toward the executioner's head, Paxton proceeded to trap him in a circle of spikes.

The girl stabbed her sword into IDD's head but the droid approached her instead and knocked her off with a hit on her head. IDD then proceeded to remove the rapier from his body and launched the weapon toward Paxton. The young man only had time to make a turn before his leg was struck by the sword. IDD rewound the blade back to him and proceeded to launch it again but this time penetrating Paxton's stomach.

As IDD readied for the finishing move on Paxton, an explosion suddenly occurred around him.

[IDD] - "You missed, Karson! How unfortunate! "

[Karson] - "I know you can see me from behind that's why I never tried to attack you. "

[IDD] - "Then what could you possibly be doing? "

IDD slowly walked toward Karson with Darlynn's rapier in his hand.

[IDD] - "I'm curious to see what can you pull out in these desperate circ.u.mstances. "

[Karson] - "Something... "

[IDD] - " *evil laugh* You know, you are the one responsible for everything! I found you guys because of you, my stupid British bulldog... Do you really think you can steal Talon's top-secret files without anyone going after you? Your dumbass left fingerprints on poor Rectangular bullet's body. "

Karson, upon hearing that the incident was caused by his mistake and not Azur's fault, crumbled in regret but was managed to keep his emotion hidden.

[IDD] - "Now, tell me what are you planning and I'll let you live! "

[Karson] - "Why don't you ask her? "

[IDD] - "Who... "

The executioner suddenly realized that Azur was missing from her previous spot without him noticing.

[IDD] (in confusion) - "Wha... impossible! I had all of you in check... I... can see all of you how did she?... "

Through his head, IDD soon realized that everyone around him was awake and ready to fight despite their injuries.

Through his recording, he noticed that Azur managed to escape because when he moved to deal with Paxton, Azur's body faded out of his vision due to his position and perspective.

For the first time, he felt an uneasy feeling of insecurity. He was ultimately deceived by his own arrogance as he should've paid attention to every little detail.

[Karson] - "Keep calm and get f.u.c.k.e.d by the trap, wanker! "

One of Azur's gems abruptly appeared from a pillar beside IDD but the executioner was ready and concentrated all his power on holding the attack.

But sapphires suddenly rained down from the sky and obliterated IDD's head. Now without his vision, Azur profited this time to smash the pieces trying to reform the icosahedron all the while the others launched their attacks on him.

But despite the severe damage inflicted upon him, IDD still managed to reform most of his body back together.

[IDD] (in rage) - "This humiliation... this will be your downfall! "

*Somewhere else

[Toro Sfacciato] - "Something went wrong, the great spirit of the sky tells me death, death for many and soon. Heartbreaking deaths with world-shattering grief. "

Sepoltura Prematura moved beside his step-brother and stared out in the distance at the grey sky.

[Sepoltura] - "Death... but for who, my brother? "

[Toro] - "Men and women of young or old age, people with a pure or evil heart, persons with passion or hate. It could be you and me but the first could be IDD. "

[Sepoltura] - "IDD? Did something go wrong with him? Yet, he's so strong! "

Toro took his hat and long coat and moved through the room toward the door.

[Toro] - "I received a message from him a few minutes ago, it's meant to invite us to assist him in finding Mike but something tells me that things have gone wrong. "

[Sepoltura] - "Then I'm coming with you, brother. "

[Toro] - "If you wish, brother, I will not force you. "

[Sepoltura] - "We go together, we do everything together. The day when your family adopted me, I swore loyalty to you and the family. "

[Toro] - "Then listen to what the spirits tell you, don't choose the path of hate and revenge and always respect your opponent despite the differences. "

[Sepoltura] - "Yes, my brother, I will! "

*In the warehouse

IDD stood in front of his adversaries in fear and worry, he knew that his system was severely weakened by the attack but the last ounce will inside his heart kept him going.

[IDD] (in anger) - "Lapidazione will be avenged... He will be avenged! You bunch of parasites won't stand a chance against me, I will make you regret everything! "

Azur glanced at Mergiann from the roof and nodded her head.

[Azur] - "The only thing I'll be regretting is not being able to kick your a.s.s a second time! "

IDD angrily stared up at Azur and activated his ability once more but he only had time to hear an object moving inside his head before he realized Azur's true intention. Azur, when attacking IDD, placed inside his body structure a grenade during his few moments of blindness.

[Azur and Mergiann] - "Explosion! "

[IDD] (enraged) - "AAAAAAAARGH! "

A burst of flame erupted from his c.h.e.s.t and filled his body with a huge blast of a fiery explosion.

[Mergiann] - "Last but not least! Expansion! "

Through her ability, the blast became 4 times stronger and annihilated each of his pieces. In the end, all that was left of IDD was ashes and burnt metal pieces alongside the intact pieces of his rewind shaped crystals.

[Karson] - "We... we did it! We got him! "

[Paxton] (in a weak voice) - "Yes! Get that dummkopf, Azur! "

[Mergiann] - "But now we must get moving, his team will soon know that he's missing. "

[Karson] - "Good point! "

[Azur] (in pain) - "But let's move to the Overwatch base first, I've lost the blood of a lifetime here... "

*Later at the imperial bar

The imperial bar is Talon's most exclusive bar where only the high-ranking officers or nobility that has special pass or Sniper's inner circle could go. The place is a huge luxurious villa with an immense underground casino, splendid hotel rooms, extravagant restaurants and marvellous lands and beaches around it.

As the chief of Talon's intelligence arrived at the villa, he soon found himself to be the only man present at the colossal palace. He carefully walked around the place curious about the situation but he soon found mister Segreto alone in the bar.

[Chief of Talon intel, Maxim] - "Oh... Hey, mister Segreto... what happened to the place? "

[Segreto] (in a delightful voice) - "Ah! Mister Maxim, what a nice surprise! "

[Maxim] (in a worried face) - "Well... my friend, mister Segreto... why is this place so quiet? "

[Segreto] - "Ah... Probably because everyone is sick today and can't come. "

Out of the blue, a young beautiful blonde woman approached Segreto and gave him a kiss on the face.

[Woman] (in a sweet voice) - "Mmmm... mister Segreto, can we have a little bit of fun? "

[Segreto] - "Later, dear, I have some business to discuss with mister Maxim. "

[woman] - "Alright, mister Segreto, don't make me wait too long. "

The woman slowly walked away from the two men while Maxim perversely glanced at her voluptuous t.h.i.g.hs.

[Maxim] - "Who is she, mister Segreto? "

[Segreto] - "The daughter of XX air chief marshal, György. "

[Maxim] - "Your wife is the daughter of Marshal György? "

[Segreto] - "No, I would dump her when I want, she's a mistress to me. "

[Maxim] (shocked) - "What? You can just treat toss around Marshal György's daughter like that? "

[Segreto] - "Who said I cannot? With the help of my friend, Talon General of the army, Judge, I emptied this bar of all Talon's high ranking members just to have a talk with you. "

Maxim rapidly understood that Segreto was trying to show his power within the association and how disobeying him would result in severe consequences.

[Segreto] (in a cold and calm voice) - "I have a favour to ask you, mister Maxim... "

[Maxim] (in a panic) - "I'm listening! "

He was then incorporated amongst the elite as a Divine servant due to his loyalty to lord Sniper and great power. There he formed a strong friendship with fellow squad member Lapidazione. "
