Chapter 38 - Recruitment Test.

1st person.

I'm currently 12 years old. I'm an orphan. I was kicked away from the worldwide testing. It's because I was a 'dirty hobo' According to those people guarding the test. When I heard of the person who made it possible to cultivate is holding a Sect recruitment test ,I was so happy. All three of his disciples are orphans. I don't know about being his personal disciple ,but I want to at least join the sect where power rules. I want to be strong and defend myself. If I get stronger I won't be discriminated against. I didn't have a name. People just called me Rabbit. They didn't give me a bad nickname only because I'm a girl. I'm currently sneaking out to go to the sect recruitment. It's only about 5 minutes of walking because the orphanage is close to the edge of the city.

I'm almost here. I'm at the bottom of the steps. Wow. That's A lot of steps. This must be a test for new recruits. I must get to the top of these steps. There are around 25 kids around me. As I'm heading up the stairs I'm already a good 30 steps up and I notice the other people going slower every step. I mean ,It's a new era ,they could've at least tried to get in shape for this.

People are falling down the stairs. It's really weird. I guess it's also testing how determined people are. I'm almost to the top. I guess it's getting a little harder to go up the stairs. Maybe there is a bit of force pressing down on me. I could barely notice it even near the top. I wonder why. Well ,I made it to the top of the steps. It seems there's someone guarding the front gate.

"Hello there sir. I'm here for the recruitment test!"

"Hm. Alright ,Head Into The Gate. Make Sure You Go into The Left Courtyard."

"Alright!"

Left courtyard? Found It! It seems there are only 2 other people here. I wonder why the other two courtyards have more people. A lot of people are in the right one. About 30 are in the middle one and only me and 2 other people are here in the left one. I wonder why?

"Hello There Friends!"

"Nice to meet you! I'm Rabbit!"

"Rabbit! Pffft!"

"That's A Funny Name!"

"Well that's what everyone in the orphanage calls me."

"Haha! Phew! Hey there Rabbit. I'm Sara."

"I'm Austin."

"Hello. Austin and Sara. I wonder why we're the only ones here."

All of us 3 here are around 12 to 13 years old. I wonder why. Maybe we failed!

"Another Person Is Coming."

"Oh. He's With Someone. Looks Like They Came Together. They're Both Around 14 years old too."

I wonder why I want to punch something.

"I'm James. This is my friend Max."

There's 5 of us now.

We've been here for about 10 minutes. I wonder when something is gonna happen.

"Oh. Someone is heading over here."

"It's the guy who was guarding the gate!"

"Of course I did. I heard there was only 3 disciples here. Obviously someone has to tell people where to go. He must be one of those 3."

"Woah. Super Attentive ,Usagi-Chan."

"Hello Everyone! I'm Silver! I'm going to be your Tester For Now. I'll first be testing your aptitudes. After that I'll take you to my master If your fit for being a disciple. We don't have any tests for the Left Courtyard Yet. Only The Talent Testing. We'll Be using A New Orb. It's Called A Super Ranked Orb. We've categorized you based on how you did going up the stairs. The Thing For Left Yard is people who almost completely ignored the gravity on the stairs go here."

"Eh. There Was gravity on the stairs?"

"Yes. There Was Baka Usagi-Chan."

I have the urge to stab some one suddenly.

"Well ,let's hurry up. We Don't Have All Day."

We're heading to an altar like area With a big orb thing. maybe it's that super tier orb that Silver told us about.

"All right. Put your hand on the orb. One at a time."

"I'll go first."
