Daily Life Of A Ponytail Girl

First break of the day, Yūi, Yukkuri, and Aoi made their way to the Ethics Committee office. There, they found Akane and Emiko talking to each other.

Yūi pointed towards Akane and screamed; "We have you!".

As she jumped towards the confused redhead, Yukkuri restrained Emiko.

Under Yūi's weight, Akane fell onto her back on the ground, the ponytail girl sitting on the redhead to pin her down.

"Wh- what is wrong with you, what are you doing? Let me go!" Akane yelled back. She tried to get her hands to Yūi's waist to push her off, but mid-air Yūi met Akane's hands with her own and gripped them. Yūi yelled back; "You're not getting anywhere till you tell us what you did! Admit it Akane, you're the super hungry girl who caused the vending machine incident, aren't you?!"

The blond Emiko gave a questioning look at that.

"S- super hungry girl? What is she talking about?" she asked her restrainer, but instead of a response, she just saw the girl look with a pained expression.

"Okay whatever you are talking about, what do I have to do with any of that?" Akane asked as she was still struggling to break free.

Yūi answered "We found out that you lied yesterday, talking about having to leave early to make homework after school!"

Akane just looked confused at hearing that.

"Wait what? Who told you that?"

"Yami did, why? the pink-haired girl replied.

"Well, that was a blatant lie on Yami's part. I was still at school at that time, reporting to the student council what had happened."

At Akane's reply, Yūi loosened her grip and raised her body off Akane's.

At the same time, Yukkuri let go of Emiko, who started speaking again.

"That's most definitely something interesting to hear, especially after what's been going on in here before you three arrived."

"Did something happen here?" Yukkuri asked immediately.

Emiko answered.

"Oh, most certainly yeah. When I came to check on how far Yami had gotten with the evidence, she was gone, along with the evidence."

"But putting that aside for now. . ." Akane spoke up as she crossed her arms.

"I believe an apology is in place for you two's sudden attack on us both."

Yūi and Yukkuri immediately bowed.

"Sorry Akane!"

"Sorry Akane, I guess!"

Aoi sighed and started speaking.

"I told you guys that we should have listened to Akane's story first before jumping to conclusions. . ."

Just then, Yūi came with an idea. "So if Akane isn't the culprit, that must mean Yami is the culprit instead!"

"Did you really not learn anything from what just happened?!" Aoi immediately replied.

Yūi made a thinking face.

"So that must mean. . . either the enemy has taken her down, or. . ."

Suddenly, the office door was slammed open, and a short girl with red hair ran in. Recognizing the girl, Yūi said out loud; "Netsu? What are you doing here?".

The girl came to a halt and rested with her arms on her knees while panting for a few seconds, before holding out a letter towards Yūi as she spoke.

"It's a challenge from class 2-B!"
