*Yawn*

A menacing creature stretches his claw. His scales shone brightly under the sun.

(Finally…)

Thousands fled in a state of panic after the huge creature's suicide blast. The creature that was known as dragon initially believed that this will be the last time.

He yawned once again.

His whole body was still intact despite a loud bang being heard. His golden eyes were more intense than the midday sun.

(Sigh… This is the sixth time.)

Being thrown down, the dragon felt himself being hauled up by his neck and being thrust onto the ground. His vision blurred.

Some distance away from him, a hero clad in golden armor could only guess how painful a strong blast directed at the dragon's body is. He reaches out to the sword that was stuck into the ground.

[You really didn't have to do this.]

The hero's voice echoes across the valley.

[I've already made up my mind.]

The crowd was screaming in excitement.

Brandishing the sword, the hero rushed forward. The only thing that he could do was keep his screaming nerves in line.

He tried to keep his breathing steady even though he wanted to run away far from there. He waved his sword.

His shoulder didn't move as it should have, and he switched the sword to his other hand, trusting his instincts to keep his head on his shoulders.

[You can't turn back, Dran.]

The dragon known as Dran stops moving.

He raises his head to look at his friend.

(I know… I know that better than anyone.)

And yet, Dran did not say anything.

The hero lets loose a cry of sadness and throws a torrent of blows at the dragon as the look of anxiety finally creeps onto his face.

His weapon slices off some of his opponent's horns.

[Alas… I wish you were coming at me with intent to kill.]

Dran said.

He spreads his wings and tore through the void. The hero turned pale.

[What do you think you are doing?! Dran!]

The gruff voice continues.

Dran remained silent. His huge wings beat the air as he rose and soared over the battlefield.

With a heavy heart, Dran takes a deep glanced at his friend as he enters the void.

Beneath him was originally nothing but a huge blackened void of darkness. However, muddy black water at the bottom caused his image to reflect and becoming like a mirror.

Dran's golden eyes sunk. The void spiraled and started ripping his flesh off his body, peeling the muscle from his bones and destroying his vessels. Dran's hollow eyes stared into the distance.

(I'm so tired…)

That single thought was deeply buried in the dragon's heart. His golden eyes grew dim.
