Dandelion Lover

Chapter 46 - Christmas Gift

The door swung open with the shiny new key in the lock. Our interlocked bodies quickly entered the house, along with the cold wind. Closing the door after us, we could barely bear to separate in order to undress from our outer clothes.

As we continued into the house, a trail of discarded clothes was left behind.

In our rush to feel each other closer, we managed to awkwardly trip and fall on the soft carpet one on top of the other. As I raised my head, I was dumbstruck at the hilarity of the situation.

Staring at each other, laughter shook our body and the awkwardness from the little incident was dispelled.

As we both got up, I was once again amazed when I took a look at the living room.

Instead of the usual gray couch, a small table and chairs were arranged, festively decorated with red and green ornaments and unlit candles. The orange sparks in the fireplace danced livelily, the warmth emanating from them reached us and perfected the arrangement of the room.

"When did you do all this?" I asked while admiring my surroundings.

"Why did you think I even allowed you to meet with Vivian" He jokingly replied. "I was busy preparing everything for our first Christmas together."

It was then that I realized that he was right, this was indeed the first Christmas that we would spend together since not long ago, we did not even know each other.

"It's so pretty!" I responded looking around the room.

"Now that I think about it, it's been less than a year since we met" He added, and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him.

"It feels so much more though…" I was a bit startled at the realization. In a short period of time, we met and we fell in love. If someone would have told me all this a year ago, I could not even have imagined that I would have had the courage to be able to trust someone this much.

"It might have been a short time, but the love I feel for you grows stronger each day. Since the day we first kissed, I had a feeling of being bewitched by you, maybe even sooner." He added tightening his grip around me.

"I also struggled to deny what I wanted, but life has a funny way of proving one wrong." I chucked as my hand reached to trace his jawline with my fingers, needing to feel the warmth of his skin on my own.

"And here I am now, unable to imagine my life without you, unwilling to part."

"And yet, we stay apart from each other for weeks on end. You seem to be doing just fine." He teased with a pouting expression, slight unhappiness revealing in his words.

"But there is a difference because in my heart you are always there," I replied pinching his cheeks.

"Who thoughts you such cheesy words?" he chuckled at my reply that was trying to pacify him.

"I only learn from the best" my answer encouraged his amus.e.m.e.nt as I could feel his smile grow bigger.

Without another word, he lowered his head, and turning my face towards him, he slowly picked at my lips. His warmth was making me dizzy and I leaned my body into his embrace.

"Aren't we gonna have dinner and celebrate Christmas?" I asked with a mellow voice, trying to resist his sensual taunts.

"The only eating I want to do right now is you." he declared confidently, as his strong arms lifted me, tensing under me. Turning towards the bedroom, he carefully placed me on the bed, kneeling beside me.

His strong hands played with my own, laying soft kisses on every finger, growing more urgent and more impatient as his kisses trailed my arm all the way to my small earlobe, bitting slightly, before moving to my lips.

His breath mixed with mine, driving me increasingly giddy as I anticipated our union.

"Wait…" I managed to mumble and move away from his c.a.r.e.s.ses, the sudden emptiness made me shudder in coldness.

"What's wrong?" He asked, his hoarse voice betrayed his needs.

"I have a Christmas gift for you as well, and I want for you to open it before the night is over I just need to bring it up," I said and slowly pushed him to sit on the bed.

"Just wait for me here, and don't move" He nodded and watched me until I disappeared from the room.

Closing the bedroom door after me, I dashed to the car and quickly worked my way through the various bags until I got the one I wanted.

Since it was our first Christmas Eve spent together, this night should be memorable for both of us, nothing bad with starting our very own fun tradition.

After gathering all the necessary materials, I ran back into the house, and into the bathroom on the first floor.

"Can I come out now?" I heard him ask when he heard me close the entrance door.

"No, just stay there and wait for me, I will be right there," I shouted back, laughing at his impatience.

I myself was looking forward to the surprise and could only hope that he would like it. Donning on the black lace lingerie I got earlier together with Vivian, and I wrapped the long red ribbon attached to it several times around my waist. I also put on a pair of black heels that were high enough to elongate my legs, but low enough so I wouldn't fall on my face when walking.

I plucked up my courage and approached the bedroom door. I could hear him shuffling around the room impatiently.

"Take a seat and close your eyes Luke!" I said, and as soon as he heard my request, the shuffle stopped until nothing more could be heard.

"I did" He replied, his voice had a tinge of amus.e.m.e.nt and excitement.

I entered the room to see him sitting quietly with his eyes closed in the armchair that was in the corner of the room. I entered as I watched him quietly, the sounds of my heels lost in the soft carpet.

I could feel my heart beating stronger as each step took me closer to him. Just before I reached him, I saw his eyelids tremble and lift up to uncover his beautiful green eyes.

A look of shock and arousal flashed by his eyes, as the playful smile he had on before faded.
