"It looks like I'd be carpenter, for now, I guess? I should go and find a lumberjack and become his apprentice."

He took a bath and cleaned himself, he ate breakfast and got ready to go until.

"Brother, where are you going? Can I go with you?" it was none other than Bell.

"Oh, hey. I'm going out, I have something important to do. You should stay here because I'll be back soon." Silver said as he c.a.r.e.s.sed Bell's head.

"Okay. But what about the farm?" Bell nodded.

"Don't worry about that, I'll take care of it later. If Gramps asked where did I go, tell him I'll go and get a job to earn money by myself." he said and ran and he said, "Bye, I'll be back!"

Silver ran around the village and greets anyone who he knew, though he knew all of the villagers and remembered them. Even though there are many people in the town, he was able to remember them as he has a photographic memory before and he was glad that he still had it even reincarnating.

Moving on, Silver asked some of the elderlies and asked them where is the carpenter or where the lumberjack lives.

"Hello, Granny V. How are you today?" he asked an old woman who memorized the layout of the village even though she was old.

"Oh, Silver. I'm fine, thank you for asking. Are you going somewhere?" she asked as she already knew what kind of child Silver is.

"You knew me well, Granny." he laughed and asked, "Granny, do you know where does the lumberjack lives?"

"Oh, that lumberjack? He lives at the edge of the village near the forest." she gave Silver a pinch in the cheek but it doesn't hurt him.

He bid goodbye at her and ran directly at the side of the village where the forest was the nearest. He saw a cabin and a pile of tree logs along with a tree stump with an ax beside it.

He knocked on the door, no one answered. He knocked again, and again, no one answered.

"Hey, Kid! Who are you?" said a man behind Silver.

He turned around and saw someone who is probably at 50 years of age, he looked like an old man who works for years in the military who was holding an ax which is bigger than a normal one.

Silver introduced himself, "Hello, I'm Silver Cranel. Nice to meet you, sir." he raised his left hand to do a salute.

"So, you are the old farmer's adopted kids, ain't it?" he glared Silver.

"Yes, you're right, sir." his gramps is the only one who plants crops and himself, "Can I be your apprentice?"

"I'll be glad to have an apprentice but can you really help me, eh?" he placed his ax beside the wall near the door.

Silver picked up the hatchet that was used to cut logs, picked up the lumber and place it on top of a tree stump. He raised the hatchet with both of his hands and swings it downwards, cutting the lumber into two in the middle of it. A clean cut.

"Wait, it should only work on the battlefield, why did it activate?" he asked the system in his mind.

"Why did you stop, boy?"

"You haven't introduced yourself, sir." Silver asked because he wants to know his name since he hasn't introduced himself.

"My name is Jack, Jack Lumber." Jack then opened his cabin, "Come in. Silver, was it?"

Silver nodded and followed him inside. Inside the cabin, he saw some head of a deer hanging on a wall.

Even though this world has monsters, there are still some animals.

"When do I start?" asked Silver.

"Not so fast, kiddo. You have to go and buy yourself an ax at the toolsmith in the western part of the village. If you have an ax, you will start every weekend and help me cut down old big trees and plant them again." Jack said.

"Preserving nature. Cutting and planting them back." Silver nodded.

"Your salary would be earning between 50 to 500 Valis base on how good you did on your job. We won't be just cutting trees but sell as well. If I need some help, I'll tell you." Jack said and added, "Go home now, kid."

Silver came back home, greeting all villagers on his way. He opened the door and he saw his brother took a nap on a couch near the door, Bell woke up immediately after he opened the door.

"Brother..."

"You must be bored, follow and watch me do the farming and I'll tell why I have to go somewhere." Silver smiled as Bell was really cute as he was still 10 years old.
