Danmachi: Dragon Heart System

"The rules are simple, anyone who gets knocked down are disqualified. Those who wants to surrender, raise their hands if they don't want to participate anymore and they are free to walk towards the exit. And no killing. Simple, right? Anyway, let the groups of level 3s go down and enter the battle." Ibri stated.

After stating the rules for the adventurers who joined, he officially started the big event.

"Let the battle BEGIN!!!"

At first, one member from a team attacked Silver, who was limiting himself by asking the system to reduce his strength as he had yet to learn how to use and control ki which can be used for battle like these.

"Ooh! One man soloed him but he doesn't seem to hit him. It was more like, Silver was holding back and was going easy on his enemy!" These words triggers some of the adventurers.

The enemy was neither thin nor fat, just average. Silver studied him and noted that this man's his Dexterity and Agility were higher than other Basic Abilities(Stats) even if he didn't scan him. Just by looking at his posture, weapon of choice, and equipments.

The man launched forward with great speed but still slow for Silver. Silver hadn't been using his Development Abilities that he can turn on and off, except passive type abilities. With his Master Hunter activated, the slit on his eyes became more visible and his eyes glowed blood red.

"Seems like Silver was waiting for the right time to counter attack even though he could just go and smack him down! I heard Silver was newly leveled up and he's now level 5!" Ibri gave them a fake information lol.

Stab, slash, combo stab and slash. The man's movements were too slow, his swordsmanship were mediocre, and has too many flaws. Silver retaliated by deflecting the first attack, and pulled the arm that was supposed to deliver a second attack, then launch a punch at point-blank range at the man's face that sent the him flying.

"WOW! That was an inescapable attack! Once you get caught, you'll be sent flying! Alrighty, take him away!"

The move he pulled wasn't a one inch punch but an imitation of it, he called it hammer punch. Since he used the back of his hand to attack like he was knocking on a door, and could send enemies flying so he called it like that. This move was defensive, yet powerful and great for finishing a fight quickly.

Seeing the man had been knocked down and was instructed by Ibri, a member of Ganesha Familia came and picked up the unconcious man.

The group of level 3s saw that move and they knew they wouldn't be able to hit him. So they made a plan.

"It looks like they are going to plan something! Let's give 'em a few minutes to create a plan!"

After a few minutes of discussion, 3 teams of level 3 with 6 members each, showed themselves and are determined to fight this guy who just arrived almost 1 month and a few days ago.

The team composition was, a mage, 2 archers, and 2 vanguards, and an assassin or anyone with high agility.

"What a good team composition! A very balanced one at that! Let us see your strategy!"

A mage started to cast his magic, 2 archers nocked their arrows and we're ready to fire and positioned themselves to the sides, the vanguards rushed at him with one of them have shield. An assassin moved around and was now behind Silver.

"Oh, no! He's surrounded! Can he escape if the enemies are around him?"

Silver pulled out his Silver Sword and blocked an attack from one of the vanguards, then followed by another. The two jumped back as two arrows came flying at him. The assassin was already behind him, ready to deliver a fatal blow.

Since the attacks are almost coming from different directions, there is a way to counter as long as you are fast enough. He dodged the first arrow and sliced the second one while he turned around and block a fatal blow. But it didn't end just there. A ball of fire came flying at Silver who turned around to block an attack.

"What an amazing feat!!!"

Yes! They knew that this strategy would work on a level 5 adventurer who just leveled up. But, little did they know that Silver could counter their strategies even if he was limiting his strength.

"It seems like they have plan C!"

So, when the fire ball was near at Silver, Silver dodged and let the assassin get the hit. After all it all happened in a few seconds.

"Oh! He used the fireball without putting too much effort in taking down one of them!"

People were shocked. They thought that their plan would work since there's no escaping that attack with lots of distractions while the real attack was the fireball that was charged with more mana than before.

One of them tasted their own medicine.

Since Silver dodged, the other teams started their barrage at Silver. Even with their combined efforts, they can't still damaged or even hit Silver.

"None of them could touch him, and he's moving and dodging gracefully!"

Thanks to Master Hunter ability that he got from the system that upgraded his Hunter development ability, it made him feel like using a Sharingan even though it's not since he can't cast genjutsu, and he's also vulnerable to genjutsu as well.

Deciding to knock them out to finish this battle so he could go and earn the rewards from his mission that was almost non-existent but was very generous.

Dodging the attacks, hitting them in their solar plexus, some were hit in their necks, they were quickly knocked out in just a few minutes.

"And he took them down without breaking a sweat!"

Then, the next batch came and the same happened to them. They were knocked down in just a few minutes.

"Oh? It seems like all level 3 wants to fight him! There are about 80 of them in total! Would he be able to defeat them?"

All level 3 appeared and it seems like they want to overwhelm him with numbers since they saw that he still needed to dodge. Poor people, they didn't know that Silver was holding back and was scared of accidentally crippling them.

"Great! The gang's all here! Now it's time to finish this quickly!" Silver muttered.

"What did you say, you arrogant prick?!" A male chienthrope retorted since their hearing is higher than human.

Silver heard some of them planning even though they were clearly 100 meters away and with the crowd being loud, he could still hear them talking. His senses were enhanced by training himself, and because he is a Dovahkiin, his senses were naturally enhanced.. And if you added Paragon into the mix, he will have his 6th Sense as if he obtained Ultra Instinct but was still too weak since it can only tell your body, not move your body without thinking. The full potential of his enhanced senses was at least two hundred times without even activating Paragon.

After over 30 minutes have passed, Silver was able to knock them down while holding back since he can't just show his true power now, can he? And he can't just use special attacks he created and he was inspired by Zoro's Three-Sword Style, which is amazing, and Kenshin's Hiten Mitsurugi that proved that even if your weapons doesn't have a blade or not sharp, he still use it to fight.

"Oh! He managed to take them down! He didn't seem to have problem with his breathing! Anyway, level 4 teams are now allowed to fight!" Ibri announced as the bodies of unconscious people were already taken into a infirmary to check their conditions.

The reason why Silver wasn't breathing hard is because of two reasons: One, he's holding back. And two, he's using a breathing technique that he has been practicing to use while sleeping. Yes, it can be used continuesly and can be used while sleeping as if you were training to use Super Saiyan for longer time. Yes, breathing technique, as in the techniques used in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Using a breathing technique while sleeping is almost an impossible feat, though.
