Danmachi: Dragon Heart System

As Silver had stepped out of the door of the Hostess of Fertility, he heard a very cheery, familiar voice. The voice of someone who was able not to become emotionless due to the Gamer System.

"Wow! You sure do eat a lot!" Eiden smiled at him after seeing how much Silver ate.

"So... Are you here for something, like getting a helping hand? If so, you have to pay me for that." Silver said coldly.

Back when Silver was still around the world, trying to be the strongest, Silver was helping people. Since he doesn't have money during that time, he used those favor to earn money or get something from them since he helped them for free.

There are two ways Silver does when helping: one, he tells them to pay him after the job is done. If not, he'll ask (force) them to give him his money. Two, he'll just help and help them more so they can't refuse to his favor that he asked (forced) them to do. He uses his points sometimes for useless things that he wouldn't use, but he'll need them to build connection. Actually, Silver already knew over 50 rich people around the world and they are the ones he had yet to collect their debts. Don't worry, they are not corrupt or trash people.

"Aw, come on! We're allies, aren't we? You should help your ally for free, right?" Eiden said as he hook his arm around Silver.

"Alright, no payment then." Silver said as he removed the arm that was hook around his neck.

"Yes! Thank you very mu-" but before Eiden finished talking...

"But, if I were to do something and I needed your help, even if it meant that you'll need to die for me, then help me. Even if you liked it, or not." Silver interjected.

Eiden deadpanned, but inside he was screaming. Will he accept the exchange? In the end, system missions are more precious and worth risking your life. After all, the mission he got was very unique.

*BEEP!*

A strong beep ringed inside Eiden's mind. A window appeared in front of him. The mission that can be accepted was now forcefully accepted without him accepting.

[ Description: Lost an arm inside a dungeon, and was being held by a man who was poor and doesn't have any money to pay. The child was on the brink of death, but still fighting. ]

Seeing the mission, Eiden knew he couldn't reject the mission as it is now an Emergency Mission which is very hard to come by. He was both happy and nervous, he didn't know how would he complete a mission in which he doesn't need to interfere but still finish the mission.

"!?" Silver was pulled away by Eiden.

"There's no time! If I didn't finished this mission, I'll lose half of my stats!" Eiden said as he pulled Silver into a deserted street.

Since he can't reject the mission, all he needed was to hide from people to start the mission.

When they are in a deserted street, Eiden turned to look around to check if there are any people around. Silver knew that there are clearly not people around.

Eiden pulled Silver into a certain wall and said, "We'll time travel. Since this world is a parallel world, there are some things that might have changed. And since there are other reincarnated people such as ourselves, it might have already changed the future events."

Then, a portal opened after Eiden touched the wall. Eiden entered the portal without waiting for Silver.

"Help me with Artemis. Then, our contract will fulfilled." Silver said as he entered.

"Yeah, yeah... Contract, huh? I don't mind helping you, just help me with this one." Eiden said as he looked around.

Everything around them were cave walls.

"Are we in a cave?" Eiden asked and Silver rolled his eyes.

"No. We are in the dungeon." Silver said as he started walking forward.

"AAHHHH!!!" Eiden was alerted but didn't move as he saw that Silver didn't move.

Silver closed his eyes and tried to locate where the voice was. The voice was definitely from a young girl. The voice didn't carry any fear, but pain and despair. When he felt despair, he ran quickly, leaving Eiden.

"Hey! Wait for me, damn it!" Eiden clicked his tongue and began running faster.

Eiden used his fastest movement skill apart from [ Phantom Steps ] which is useful in battle. It was, [ Phantom Dash ], a skill that is meant for running away or dodging attacks.

The difference between [ Phantom Steps ] and [ Phantom Dash ] is, [ Phantom Steps ] leaves afterimages at short distance of 10 meters almost instantly. [ Phantom Dash ] was slow but, can reach any length as long as you have enough Mana but doesn't leave any afterimages but blurs the user's appearance. Both skills are silent when used while moving and are great skill.

But to Silver, with his enhanced senses, even if he is weaker than him, can still give him a fight since his reflexes are greater than normal humans and he reacts faster.

Running, Silver slowed down little by little. Even if reading those sentences above, they only needed 30 seconds to reach from where that voice was.

What they saw were bodies of adventurers lying on the ground above the pools of blood beneath. When they looked around, they saw a 12 years old looking girl who has brown hair since her back was facing them. Looking slightly to the right, they saw that she lost her right arm.

The bodies of adventurers seemed to come from deeper floors as the bodies are more from there.

The girl turned around while looking down and ran away. But, before she could run away, she tripped and stumbled until she was in front of him.

"Just... a little... more..." The girl said.

Silver looked around and saw that Eiden hid himself, worried that, if he were to be seen, it would be considered as mission failed. Silver looked at the monster that did all this. A...

Minotaur...

With a sword in hand.

He rushed at the Minotaur, and stole its blade.

The Minotaur looked at its hand and saw that the sword was gone. It was a great sword.

Silver, looking at the Minotaur coldly, raised the great sword up, and brought it down towards the Minotaur.

The Minotaur was still standing. But, after Silver turned around, the Minotaur bursts into mincemeat. It's flesh were finely chopped, the blood splattered away from him.

He left the great sword on the floor and picked up the young girl in his arms and ran back up. It didn't take a few minutes to exit the dungeon since he found out on the way that was on 2nd floor.
