Danmachi: Magus Rex

The City of Orario. The City of Adventures. The City of Dreams.

Today this city welcomes a new occupant, a young man by the name of Magnus.

"I'm finally here after that long walk. Guess I should find a place to get more information first" Magnus remarked to himself as he walked the streets towards the building that looked like what was described to him as the Adventurers Guild.

Entering the big building, he found himself in the middle of a rush of people. There were people in various types of armors clamoring to get to one of the many counters. Not knowing much about the system, Magnus decided to get behind one of the lines at the front of which a human with pink hair was attending to the counter.

*Misha POV*

Today was yet another busy day at the guild. Between teasing her co-worker Eine and grumbling at her superior Rehmer, Misha was having another normal day at the guild. That is until a boy of around 15 years of age showed up at her counter. He didn't look that old, with black hair that had the occasional purple stripe and purple eyes. Looking at him Misha instantly realized that he was a new adventurer, seeing as she hadn't seen him before. "Hello! My name is Misha, how may I help you today"

"I would like to register as an adventurer please" as if confirming her thoughts, he asked her regarding the details of the registration. "Have you joined any familia yet?" she asked him the normal procedure, seeing a negative reply she sighed and proceeded to ask him some other details required for the registration.

It seemed like he was a former gladiator who used enchanting magic. "From what I can see you have a qualified skill set in diving to the dungeon, I'd recommend you keep to the first four floors before you join a familia, Next we come to the final part of the registration, as a newly registered adventurer you're going to fare better if you have an advisor in the guild to help you with your purchases and everything, seeing as you're a qualified adventurer I'm willing to be your advisor but you're going to have to prove to me that you're worth the investment. If you can turn in materials worth 1000 valis, I'll be your exclusive advisor" She gave him a wide smile and presented the deal. The boy started contemplating the deal and in the end he responded with a nod.

"Can you tell me if there's any small scale famila that are currently recruiting?" Pleased by his smart questions, Misha started shifting through her memories for any such familia, "There is the miach familia but they're people who run a medicine shop so if you're leaning towards dungeon diving, I don't know if it'll help you much, other than that you can try the big familias, they usually have smaller teams that are willing to accept prospective newbies" Giving her a nod and a smile, the boy began to walk away while thinking.

Recalling their short conversation, it seemed like the guild wouldn't be as boring anymore.
