Dudley was celebrating his third birthday, and the Dursleys had pulled out all the stops. Because he was still young, it was only a family affair, but there was presents, decorations and cake. What more could a three-year-old ask for? Unfortunately, the real Dudley Dursley was locked in a cupboard listening to the revelry enviously.

The little 'Freak' was excluded from most celebrations, but at least he wasn't physically abused. He was fed twice daily and allowed basic amenities, much better treatment than Chad had expected. Still, this would be quite damaging on the little guy's psyche and stunt any social development.

But Chad couldn't care less, he knew if that was him in the cupboard, then Dudley would be mocking and beating him relentlessly all through his childhood. At least this way, Dudley will not be growing up a bully, maybe a creepy serial killer that dances around in human skin, but not a bully!

On the plus side, Chad didn't plan to add to the miserable toddler's suffering, he planned to ignore him until he was eleven years old. It would be tricky, but with a bit of mind magic, he was sure he could coerce Dudykins into keeping quiet while he was bringing his plans to fruition. Meh, he would cross that bridge when he came to it.

He had come a long way with learning to control magic, he hadn't even picked up a wand so he wouldn't be influenced by a crutch to make things easier. His mind vault was stronger than ever, and he had used that control over his mind to help learn to harness his magic.

He could now easily control objects with magic and move them in basic patterns. In fact, once he had the basics down, it had become more natural by the day to gain more precise control over it. The hard part came when he wanted to control two objects at the same time.

Oh, he could easily pick up multiple objects if they were close together, the difficult part was trying to move them separately. To do so, he had to compartmentalise his mind, one part for each task. It was easier said than done. It wasn't like trying to do two math problems simultaneously, it was more like being ambidextrous and dual wielding.

He had made good progress, but it was taking its time. But time was something he had in abundance now, well, when Petunia wasn't being a good mother and leaving him on his own. He had even taken to sleeping most of the day so he could have the freedom to train at night. But for now, he wanted to put into practice some of the projects he had conceived while under the watchful eye of Petunia.

To start with, he had rearranged his house-elves into different groups depending on what they wanted to do. Surprisingly, all of them wanted to be part of the more brutal job he had in mind. The exception to this were the two that just wanted to be cooks. The rest would share the housework, but be trained as his personal security force. He was going to teach them to be ninjas!

Of course, Chad didn't really know what was involved in training ninjas, but all he really wanted was them to be sneaky little spies and assassins. The wizarding world was practically trained to ignore house-elves as they were nothing more than servants, most places weren't even warded against them. Chad planned to capitalise on that.

Since it was literally inscribed into their souls not to attack wizards with magic, the simple and obvious workaround was to use mundane weapons. This wasn't even that much of a leap as in the final battle at Hogwarts, the house-elves used kitchen knives and cleavers to attack Death Eater's ankles. It must be mentioned that they ran at their enemies.

This was a retarded way to attack trained killers with ranged weapons. House-elves are a magical race that can teleport at will, why run when you could appear behind them? And why attack their feet? Sure it would hurt like the d.i.c.kens and distract them, but it would also provoke a counter attack. These were just some of the practices that Chad had been continually teaching his new ninjas.

His house-elves had also grown to thirty-five including Boppy, and Chad was amazed that wizards were rather indifferent to the free house-elves roaming around. Especially when he had watched them execute his training regime after a month. The hard part was breaking them out of their meek demeanour and instilling confidence in them.

He found the best way to achieve this was to induct them entirely into the ninja way of life. It was pretty simple for them to make the transition when he listed the similarities between elves and ninjas.

- Serve a Master with unconditional devotion.

- Perform their jobs unseen.

- Received no recognition for their work.

- Had their own code of honour.

He made a set of guidelines and laws for them to live by as well as give them a sense of unity. Since the rest of the world treated house-elves with no respect, they didn't need to be respectful. Chad was careful to make sure he was seen as their saviour and ultimate Master, he didn't want them to go full on rebellious on him!

Luckily, it was in their nature to serve their bonded Master with total obeisance, so he was in the clear. Especially since he was empowering the little devils. Who knew that they would take to the ninja way of life so quickly?

Chad watched in awe as they trained. They were in the underground headquarters that had been excavated under Godric's Hollow, a reasonably sized area reinforced by magic to ensure it wouldn't suddenly collapse. The elves were in pairs, one pushing along a mannequin on wheels trying their best to escape randomly, the other, teleporting behind the mannequin at head height trying to decapitate it.

It sent chills down his spine at the ease of which they were accomplishing the task. Once they had succeeded, they would sheath their elf sized swords on their back, repair the mannequin, and swap roles. It was terrifying at how easy they 'killed' their targets, the ones controlling the dummy were moving much faster than your average human!

When Chad was starting to indoctrinate his little minions into the ninja life, he gave them a sword each to thank them for their allegiance. The little guys cried so hard that it took an hour to settle them down, not only was it the first gift they had ever received, but it was a symbol of their new path in life. They worshipped the blades so much that in the end, he had to pay to have enchantments placed on them.

With the reverence they held for the mini swords, he was sure the little guys would perform seppuku if they broke. To prevent any future catastrophes, he had them enchanted to cut through iron and be strengthed to such a degree that they might as well be indestructible. Luckily, the place he found to make them also provided the enchantment service. Nobody placed more value on durable magic blades than the Japanese, even if it did cost him two hundred Galleons a sword.

The pièce de résistance was convincing them to wear the child-sized black ninja suits he ordered from a costume shop. Not as hard as he thought it would be for a child to buy. They had to be altered slightly, but magic was very convenient. In the end, it came down to the argument that he wasn't trying to free them, wearing a uniform was part of the job.

They would wear their ragged pillowcases when spying, but their ninja outfits when on missions. Once he convinced them, the Boppy and the two cooks folded pretty quickly, they didn't want to be left out. Boppy was looking very dapper in his butler uniform, and the two female cooks looked much less like a health code violation.

For the past half a year, Chad had his little ninjas learning London's shady side by heart. They had been made aware of cameras and their danger, so he was no longer afraid they would break the Statue of Secrecy unknowingly. He had them scout out every drug dealer they could find and map their movements and storage facilities.

After all this time and surveillance, tonight was going to be their first operation. Everyone was excited, including Chad, he was treating it like a birthday present since it was Dudley's birthday and he was pretending to be Dudley! After a long wait for 2 pm, he signalled for Boppy to give the mission a green light.

Boppy appeared in their HQ in all of his head elf glory. He looked around at the gathered ninjas and couldn't help but puff his little c.h.e.s.t out with pride, he was in charge of these elves!

"The Master has given the operation a green light! Make sure you bring honour to our Master! Remember, only kill if it can not be helped. If all the drug dealers are dead, there will be no more people to target, then you will have no more missions!"

Thirty-two ninja elves bowed silently and then disappeared. This was what they had trained for, tonight would be the night to prove themselves worthy of their Master!
