Dark Savages Come To the United States

Chapter 148: Elevator Situation End (fourth update)

"Now are you satisfied? Rumlow?"

Nick Fury slumped on the chair, looking at Rumlow who returned to the office after cleaning in S.H.I.E.L.D. and said weakly.

"You don't want to give the truth to ordinary people, but I will."

Rumlow slammed the ax on Nick Fury's desk as he spoke, and sat directly on the desk.

Subduing his body and staring at Nick Fury, he said in a somewhat cold tone.

Holding the deformed shield in his hand, Steve stood aside as if he wanted to do something, but he just said nothing.

He already knew what the previous conflict was about.

Captain America has never been afraid of sacrifice, but the premise is that the sacrifice is himself.

So he didn't have a sense of identity with Nick Fury after he knew the truth.

Even if he wanted to persuade Rumlow, he didn't know what to say.

"People from the Security Council and the military are coming soon, you know how to say it? As for the guys in the branch, I won't do it myself, you understand my insistence."

Rumlow looked at Nick Fury with threats in his eyes.

Nick Fury held a pager in his hand, as if he wanted to enter something. Seeing his hesitation, Rumlow smiled disdainfully.

"SHIELD still has its value, but it has to be contained."

"You have already cleaned it yourself, do you have any other requirements?" Nick Fury replied coldly.

The sharp pain in his body still exists.

Because of the arrival of Bul Kasso, many of Nick Fury's orders have not yet been implemented.

Like getting Barbara to contact Coulson.

All the agents were left in S.H.I.E.L.D. and had just been liquidated by Rumlow.

Now all branches of S.H.I.E.L.D. are under the control of the Security Council and the military, waiting for follow-up investigations.

As for Hill and Dugan, they are currently being examined by the medical department, and their injuries are not serious at all.

"After that, I won't appear here as an agent anymore, I plan to be an apprentice blacksmith."

Rumlow pulled out a brand new pack of cigarettes from Nick Fury's desk, where Pierce had put them.

He took out one and stuffed it into his mouth, then said to Nick Fury:

"The captain must have supervisory authority. I still think he is the best shield holder in the world."

Rumlow tried to light a cigarette, but he couldn't find a lighter.

He didn't smoke before, but now he wants to smoke one.

He wanted to experience why Dugan, a hard-core veteran, stubbornly lit his cigar without making a single scream under that kind of injury.

Does tobacco really have any magical effect?

Although Dugan compromised with Nick Fury, this veteran is still worthy of respect.

"Rumlow, I will still testify for you before the judge and guarantee you."

Steve finally made up his mind, he walked over and took the cigarette from Rumlow's mouth, and said seriously.

"The special operations team captain Rumlow has been killed under the wise leadership of Director Nick Fury. Hydra and the agents at the S.H.I.E.L.D. okay?"

Rumlow patted the director's desk, a little carefree.

"If you're really dead, that's fine."

Nick Fury said coldly.

"My road to redemption is coming to an end. After SHIELD is reorganized, please tell me. I will wait for your news at the blacksmith shop."

"By the way, don't forget to ask the living agents to sign non-disclosure agreements."

Rumlow patted Steve on the shoulder, and said in a relaxed and mocking tone.

"You are completely different from the way you roared before."

Steve had a smile on his face, as if relieved?

"You are exactly what the brochure says."

Rumlow pursed his lips, then took out a bottle of bourbon whiskey from the wine cabinet, snapped off the bottle and poured it into his mouth.

"That Bucky, when will you take it away?"

Rumlow said and handed the bottle to Steve.

"Also, don't forget to go to the blacksmith shop to clean up, and settle the wages of my 'died in the line of duty'. I still owe a lawyer's service fee."

"I always thought the blacksmith shop was a weapons research institute."

Steve took the remaining half bottle of wine and poured it into his mouth.

"Didn't I tell you? It's just a blacksmith's shop."

Rumlow jumped off the table, reaching for his tomahawk.

With a clicking sound, only the handle of the ax was in Rumlow's hand, and the recruit's battle ax finally came to an end.

This was a first in the history of the savages.

Finally, there is a novice battleaxe that has exhausted its durability, and it is worth celebrating.

"Well, it looks like you're going to have to pay me compensation for the weapons."

Rumlow said to Nick Fury, whose face was getting uglier.

A fragment of the ax hit Nick Fury on the head as it fell.

"SHIELD has limited funds."

Nick Fury replied.

"You will have less money to build two safe houses and secret bases."

Rumlow threw the handle of the ax on the table casually, and waved goodbye to Steve.

"Think of it as the cost of you taking my crystal bottle, black-hearted bastard!"

Rumlow left the office after saying this.

Captain America Steve breathed a sigh of relief.

"Can you repair my shield?"

Steve put the dented shield on the table.

The place where he was hit was dented, making it impossible for him to hold the shield with one arm in the previous way.

Before removing the shield, it was done by directly cutting off the belt on the arm.

"SHIELD Gets Underfunded."

"Then you will save two safe houses and secret bases."

Steve responded.

He also doesn't like the way Nick Fury does things.

Rumlow was already standing at the elevator door.

When he got on the elevator, he always felt uncomfortable.

"Ding dong~"

The figure of Melinda May appeared in front of Rumlow.

"Archive room."

The elevator starts to move according to the voice instruction.

"Probably no inexplicable people will appear this time."

Rumlow muttered in a low voice.

A quiet period ensues.

Just as the elevator was about to reach the archives floor, Melinda spoke.

"I just want to tell you that this is a personal grudge!"

Melinda took the knuckles and slammed down on Rumlow's stomach.

Before she could confirm, the elevator door arrived at the file room.

"Congratulations on surviving and completing the 'salvation' you wanted, Rumlow."

Melinda withdrew her hand, took off the knuckles and threw it to Rumlow.

"Thank you, I think the agent may not be suitable for your personality, you can also consider resigning."

Rumlow caught the knuckle and threw it back.

"I will consider."

The elevator doors closed slowly.

Rumlow leaned on the armrest behind him and whistled.

I'm writing the follow-up, if the seventh shift is not achieved before twelve o'clock, the sixth shift will be tomorrow!

If I do it, I'll be on the fifth watch.

This month, I want more than 4,000 words daily! Strive to make everyone look cool!
