"…We need to make roles."

One of the Lords spoke with a fatigued expression.

There were a few Lords between adventurers.

The Lords had armed their forces and came into the Central island by getting three tickets in order to recruit stronger people.

There were 7 clans and Lords gathered in the Central Island.

They weren't even half of the two thousand people here but it was enough to speak out with power.

Since the other adventures didn't even have anything driving them.

But there were expressions of fatigue on the faces of 7 Lords after the defense had ended.

They all subconsciously looked at her, a blonde European beauty in charge of the now largest clan Amazon, An all female clan. All the men were filled with perverted thoughts and curses when they first heard of them. A clan that was female only, it was like a joke at first but women were innately weak and aware of their insecurities.

Usually they'd find a man to share the burden despite knowing all men were beasts. On the way here no doubt they had seen the violence of men and put on a tough front to not be looked down on. But they were still inwardly insecure, those insecurities were banished at the thought of Amazon, a heaven for females, a place where they could belong. Their hidden strength of mind were awakened and they were all overflowing with confidence.

They formed a powerful force, women were notably smarter than their male counterparts , they m.a.t.u.r.ed faster, bled every month, gave birth not only those but they were actually even more cruel and calculative than men, this was their strength, runes could supplement their weak bodies quelling that short coming as well. Amazon was even stronger than a same sized clan due to this.

A place to get stronger without worry of being a man's plaything as such after a mere few days, Amazon expanded to 500 members, what was worse was that, the Lord couldn't give them all her symbol yet they still joined in preparation for when she could.

They even had to be careful with women in their clans as they might go over to her if mistreated.

It took the other 6 together just to keep her in check.

"Lets start, we need a plan of action to deal with them."

She domineeringly took charge. It was a meeting to discuss their current situation. Her position was higher than the rest.

They could only begrudgingly begin to review their situation for the meeting.

The attack had continued for an hour, then they were given a three hour break only to continue fighting for another hour.

This had repeated three times.

When they first fought, about 30 didn't fight so about 1900 plus people fought above the castle walls.

1600 fought during the second time above the castle walls.

There were only 900 people left above the castle walls during the final fight.

And thanks to that the castle was almost invaded by a mere tutorial attack.

'Those damnable bastards…'

It wasn't that they had died or got injured.

At first only 30 people had escaped.

The 30 people, minus one who didn't immediately return, who had discreetly went below came back completely different after fighting two to three hours.

They had gained a large amount of runes and artifacts in that short moment.

The fairy did not lie to them.

Hunting in the underground provided a way for them to improve very fast.

The problem was after that.

After seeing the 30 people get strong, people who were defending the castle walls had gotten jealous.

The undead who were charging at them didn't drop any runes nor artifacts.

So they realized after one defending wave.

That they couldn't get strong defending the castle walls.

And at that moment around 400 people left.

They couldn't even control them.

Since the entrance to the underground dungeon was everywhere, they just simply escaped during the chaos of the battle.

But it was fine to this point.

Since the conscious that the undead's attack was threatening and that they needed to protect the castle was still alive.

The problem was the third wave.

The thirty who had entered the dungeon while the others had become a mess whilst defending had come out with a complete makeover.

They had fought relatively safely and collected a large amount of runes and artifacts. And the might of these artifacts were indeed very strong.

The people who were below the Lord received the symbols because they naturally had good teamwork and good potential.

They were a level above the others in terms of skill.

But this gap was closed within a few hours.

And the 400 people who had entered whilst ignoring the second wave had also come out stronger.

And this had made people anxious.

They couldn't become strong if they didn't enter the dungeon.

So the people who had become anxious all left during the final wave and then the people left above with good consciences were just barely able to defend the wave.

The first day. Despite it being the tutorial.

They couldn't even imagine how they would defend starting tomorrow.

'Damn..Now it's hard to control them'

The people who had entered first got well along with each other so they got together to create a laughable group called <The Warrior Clan>.

A Damn cool name but that was even worse, it made their clan names sound poorly chosen. As most of them were named after themselves.

And people who had escaped the defense line had been gathering under that group.

They had solved their guiltiness of betraying their comrades and going to the dungeon for their own benefit by grouping together.

They would be treated as traitors around the defenders but there was nothing to be embarrassed about when they grouped with others who had done the same thing.

And thanks to this the The Warrior Clan had become stronger the seven clans combined.

And the root of the problem was that the seven Lords thought they had to defend the castle and had not entered the dungeon.

They had to hunt in turns even if they had to defend a little harder.

They had focused on defending because they didn't think that the gap would be closed in a day like this but the effect of hunting in the underground dungeon was beyond their imagination.

And they had even created justification.

<In order to defend against the undead's attacks then you must become stronger below>

And this justification had been excusing away the guilt that the The Warrior Clan and the others had been feeling.

'Sons of Bitches'

Minerva's beautiful face crumpled.

The justification was good.

And they approved of it.

They couldn't just defend in order to defend this castle.

They had to rotate between defending and attacking.

If they improve too much than they would invaded due to the weak defense and if they defend too much than they would get overwhelmed by the forces getting stronger and stronger.

But when would they actually come out?

The people were now setting camps in front of the dungeons and were going back and forth.

And they were acting like this while their powers were around the same level.

If their strength increased than they could see what would happen very clearly,

'Damn… How do we solve this.'

While the Lords were racking their brains like this a commotion was going on below.

"This bitch! It's a saintly mother really!"

'What?'

They had poked their heads outside the windows with confused looks.

~~~~~~~~~~
"F.u.c.ker. Who are you to be telling us what to do? We are going to defend the line above tomorrow? What a f.u.c.k.i.n.g joke."
Seokhoon, one of the original members of the group, shouted aggressively.
A change starting from tomorrow.
What was this nonsense?
V nodded at those words.
' Of course I didn't expect them to roll over and do as they were told. It was worth a try I suppose.'
He had to kill the few to warn the crowd, there was no way around this after all.
It sat well with him, he was actually quite violent when it came down to it.
He unsheathed a sword he got recently from hunting while making a battle plan, his body as it currently was, was human and still similar to theirs, his only advantage were sixth sense and his resistances, which unfortunately were not yet colorless. His techniques were a factor as well. The puppet was 'occupied' so it was only him as well.
Humans were unpredictable so even he didn't dare to underestimate them, he sprung forward to the closest person to him , blade in hand, three men rushed to him in response, he sidestepped and redirected a slash aimed at himself, while simultaneously removing that person's centre of gravity, smoothly slicing his throat, he ducked while collecting the runes and cutting the heel of another.
He had reread this scene with Hansoo and the rest on his glasses just in case and decided to mix it up a little with Hansoo's fighting style.
'Still though, it's a lot harder than it sounded, they aren't staying still for me to kill, but why would they in the first place sigh'
'I killed the Carnivorous Beast and placed myself on his level, I can't allow myself to fall behind now.'
Fluwshhhhh
A short dagger was heading his way, he tensed his arm and knocked its centre from the side in such a way that it sprung in a direction and aimed to reap another's head, unfortunately someone close by interfered and blocked it.
He slowly moved throughout their ranks without any wasted movements, he patiently attacked them with hard and soft attacks, while not dealing any fatal injuries, when he saw an opportunity he'd guide a dagger to an ally and sever a limb or two.
In the process he got a few shallow cuts as well.
"…You damnable fellow"
Seokhoon grinded his teeth.
He was one of the 30 people who had first entered the dungeon.
Why was he acting kind after he had started the whole thing.
And then Tenjin, who had been standing in the back, spoke as he walked out.
"Calm down. We aren't saying that we won't go out. If we hunt for two more days then we can defend it properly after getting stronger. We can trade then. Let's not fight between ourselves"
The others who entered with them were obviously not listening as they continued to fight with V who was smiling as he fought with them.
He couldn't allow them to act as they wanted, hunting to become stronger for several days.
By then the Lord clans would have become a huge mess.
'That's why it's difficult'
To gain that essential item, he unfortunately needed them.
Mitsuo crumped his expression at those corpses on the ground.
'This guy had some guts…'
He was definitely the strongest, they could tell, he had more colorless runes than them, their perception stat made it clear, most if not all his runes were colorless and they had witnessed him fight, all the semi-boss looking monsters down below were taken care of by him, he was always fields ahead of them while hunting.
Proof was playing out right before their eyes, he was better than them, the confidence they gained recently from the overflowing strength within their bodies were wavering,
'Damnit, No, we can't be this inferior to him he's already killed 4 of us. We can't let this continue.'
But they didn't believe 30 couldn't win against one, the remaining person's grasped their weapons and unanimously attacked, V didn't have the slightest change in expression, he looked at the Warrior Clan nearby.
'Extensive speeches won't be necessary to plead with them, I'll give them the carrot and stick approach.'
V slowly immersed himself in battle surrounded by them on all sides.
His Tai Chi was the supporting method of attack while combining his Kendo and the no pain no kill style of Hansoo. Their desperation was beginning to show.
A dagger was thrown at him, <Jupon's Dagger>
A colorless artifact that increased cutting powers.
It was a pretty good one.
Cutting was considered a skill so it was something that required both Physical and magic resistances.
But he simply used his blade to knock it back accurately in the throwers skull.
'This is it, they're putting it too much effort, and they're not even realizing it.'
He leaped upwards and stayed there.
"..!"
They all had attacked but it hit empty air. Then, there he was after looking around a bit, he was in the air.
'What the f*ck?!'
This was sh*t was allowed?
What the f*ck?
V didn't give them a chance to recover from their shock as he attacked.
Shoes that allowed you to momentarily step on the air <Stepping Stone>.
With this you could have a much more three dimensional battle.
It had a low drop rate even for the zone above. But his luck was good and it dropped down in the dungeon. His luck stat was beginning to show its worth.
In battle,
If you dodge then your balance will fall apart which will slow down your counterattack.
And if you had the confidence to block it completely then it was even less necessary.
Of course, resistances acted as something that reduce the damage but not as a shield.
It didn't make one invincible even if it was at the colorless level, so getting a severe hit can't have no damage.
'I can see it all'
Perception that had reached the colorless stage couldn't even be compared to the previous.
His sixth sense was even more powerful now that it was approaching colorless, it was like the could see what they were thinking and counteract. As their attacks were easily felt, effects, range and all.
Tong.
And at that moment the <Power Destruction> of Nurmaha's ring activated and destroyed the Cutting magic on an enemy blade.
Before he reacted to his failure his vision spun and his head dropped.
Ping.
Another weapon headed his way.
V's fist had even pushed back the enemy's blade.
Then the sword which was dispelled of the cutting magic couldn't penetrate through his physical resistances.
Tumble.
You can't kill if you are afraid of getting hurt. Which was why he adopted aspects of Hansoo's style.
Since as long as you survive, you can just heal it back up.
One shot one kill.
This was ideal, through his Tai Chi , he didn't receive the full force of injuries, they were lessened nonetheless he was hit, in order to kill efficiently that was necessary, most of the times blades didn't even draw his blood not by defense but due to his techniques, he hardened his skin like a block and shielded... well yes it was defense.
This was how he dominated them all. No one deeply hurt him, at most he'd suffer a scratch.
"Gulp! what a monster....."
Kailia a student who rejoined Minerva at the island said in shock.
The thirty over there could go up against a clan if they combined their strength.
But they weren't even opponents for him.
He wasn't even dodging their attacks.
She had thought that he was crazy but she knew now.
That he had the confidence to ignore all those attacks. Although he had an expert feel but he also seemed to be a bit amateurish. Nonetheless, he was making them look like children facing an a.d.u.l.t.
'How high are his resistances…'
'And why does he seem familiar?'
She had learnt of resistances by chance from a skill.
It was so hard to raise that the person with the highest resistances only had around 30.
But they had realized that it was better to raise perception and agility to dodge than resistances so they gave up raising them.
Since it wasn't that the resistances absorbed all the damage if they raised it.
But her thoughts changed completely after seeing this fight.
There was no outstanding stat out of strength, stamina, agility or perception.
But his defense, ability to control his body and battle perception were at a level of a different dimension. Also like magic hard forceful strikes didn't seem to hit right, perhaps a skill, yes a skill.
That wasn't all, his runes seemed to all be at the colorless level but those 30 should have at least one or two colorless runes each so why was there such a one sided fight, it wasn't merely resistances something else was at work.
'What the hell is that ring also. Where the hell did he gain something like that.'
They all looked at each other, he was most likely one of the original members, the one who didn't surface until now.
Vicente was in the middle of parrying an attack when he grabbed the person attacking him roughly, bringing him centimeters away from his face.
"Urgh you bastard take thi-"
Seeing his face which twisted in pain from being used as a shield to block three flying daggers, V snickered a bit.
"You were saying, I didn't quite catch that."
The man tenderly touched one dagger's tip which went all the way through him. He squeezed the words out of his mouth.
"You bastard...."
"I know you don't like me for killing you but I didn't, I'm being wrongly accused."
V was in the mood to tease as he lifted him off the ground and swung him around while grasping the opportunity to fatally wound a few more people.
He was slowly becoming more expressive when he reached a peak of stress. He readjusted to being cold afterwards but he knew this was going to be a peculiar thing.
Like a tsundere.
But this was one of the ways he was dealing with his stress, despite their depravity he was human as well so he was a social being and since he couldn't group up with them as it would prove inefficient, he had to cope like this for now.
He also felt chirrupy feeling his body move like a martial arts expert from his mere days of immersing himself in fighting, he was slowly becoming better and better at using his skills and talents as well as equipment at his disposal.
His luck stat yielded quite a few skill runes and items, too many to be honest, so he traded some runes for the skills and kept the items to use lavishly down in the dungeons.
The skills were traded with these fellows he was currently fighting and the most amusing thing causing him to snicker here and there was that he was actually getting the skill runes back when he killed them!
"Huh, What the Hell?"
The 20 plus people remaining, suddenly started kneeling with a green expression on their face. V suddenly started smirking, it's starting to take effect.
