DC - Dark Wars

Under the moonlight on a small building near the docks stood two heroes looking over the area and scouting for different ways onto the ship which seemed to be ready to set sail very soon.

In a dark red outfit with a bow in his hand, Speedy was waiting to hear the plan from his mentor. He was fairly self centered and was always young at heart, but due to the Black Canary being captured from a bad decision he made, he felt rather down.

Next to him using his binoculars to scout the area in a green outfit with a robin hood type hat on his forehead was the Green Arrow. Even with Oliver Queen being a playboy that the public knew as irresponsible, during the night, he would dress up in this outfit and fight criminals to protect the city he loved.

"Oliver, I want to say sorry again for what happened. I should have never let Black Canary roam the streets without proper back up. I, I just hope that she will survive this." Speedy told the Green Arrow as the Green Arrow put away the binoculars as if he already came up with a proper strategy.

"You know that Rudy Valentine was responsible for killing all of those people, right?" the Green Arrow replied to Speedy in an angry tone. This was the Black Canary they were talking about who was family to them.

"If he put a single hand on her, he will be lucky if I do not take away his hand!" drawing his bow and an arrow, the Green Arrow continued before running forward. "You take the north and I will take the south entrance of the ship."

Time was very short it seemed as almost no more guards were at the entrance of the dock or even outside of the ship. It would be any minute now that the ship would be moving to an unknown location.

With so little time to spare, both Green Arrow and Speedy made their moves quickly as they both dove into the water with not a single person even on the ship keeping watch seeing them.

The night before, the Black Canary and Speedy were at the hideout while Oliver was attending a charity benefit for under privileged students who had goals to attend college after they graduated high school.

Oliver specifically told both the Black Canary and Speedy to remain in the hideout and if something went wrong, to tell him immediately. However, seeing that there was someone who was in the process of robbing a drug company's supplies, Black Canary told Speedy to tell Oliver over the radio while she went to scout the situation closer.
