"Now why would I be afraid of some bats or birds or whatever they are calling themselves these days?" Diaz asked Bubba before giving him a sinister gaze.

One could argue that mentioning Batman and the rest of his family would jinx criminals, but Diaz seemed very overconfident during this night. The reason, was because Batman and his family did not catch Diaz and his crew's tracks for a whole week!

"By the way Bubba, I am paying your guys handsomely to protect my workers. But by the looks of it, you are not doing a very good job." seeing Bubba beginning to sweat, Diaz wanted to push his buttons a little more as his employer.

As a criminal who has already made quite a bit of money from selling his products, Diaz was in a powerful position compared to those who he had just employed to protect this next shipment as well as himself. Though, still not able to claim a top spot, Diaz was still much higher up compared to grunts who served the mafia or crime lords in the city.

"Boss, do not worry for even a second. I will personally take them down tonight, just for the sake of your safety, please allow these two men to escort you to the truck in the meantime." replied Bubba as he pulled out a pair of bronze knuckles.

"Sounds good to me Bubba, just remember to make sure when you are finished, that you have whoever is left deliver that truck to our buyers." Diaz said as he started to walk towards the bay door in the direction of Damien.

The two men next to Diaz who were tasked to protect him each took out their swords on their sides and charged at Damien. Luckily, Damien had just finished off the rest of the gunmen in this area of the warehouse and was prepared to face these two bodyguards of Diaz.

"Damien, be careful!" Batman shouted out before Bubba punched him in the jaw which caused Batman to fly back into a stack of bricks.

"Father!" Damien cried out after seeing Batman being pummeled as if he was a punching bag for Bubba.

"Damien, focus!" falling from the ceiling in front of him, Batgirl quickly used her weapon to block one of the swords as the other bodyguard's sword barely missed Damien's head. Unfortunately for Damien, the sword stabbed through his arm!

"Not bad at all!" clapping, Diaz looked at Damien and Batgirl with the same evil smirk on his face before continuing to walk forward. "Too bad you would rather serve that Bubba than to take a big raise and just work directly under me."

Suddenly a small explosion could be heard on the other side of the warehouse which caused Diaz's smirk to change into a concerned look as everyone looked over for a brief moment.

All that could be seen, was that Bubba was now on the ground and was clearly not in good enough shape to get back up.

The confused look on his face, actually started to become one of fury as Diaz could feel his big plan being completely crushed right in front of his eyes.

Now with Batman no longer occupied, and the other two members of the Bat family dealing with his bodyguards, Diaz started to run to the side in a route that was not clear to anyone.

"You two finish off those bodyguards of his while I track him down!" Batman called out to Damien and Batgirl as he pulled out his grappling gun before heading up towards the ceiling.

"Not good!" the two bodyguards looking at each other thought before Damien and Batgirl charged at them once more. They did not know this, but both Damien and Batgirl were unwilling to let these two hired men get in the way of Diaz and Batman!
