DC - Dark Wars

"Haha! Say that again brat!" Diaz called out as if he was a crazed patient in Arkham Asylum. As he said this, his whole body started to grow much darker until he was completely covered up by the mist.

Still unsure how to approach him, Batman locking eyes with Batgirl and Damien gave them a signal to leave the warehouse as quickly as they could.

The two younger heroes started to feel a level of fear as they watched their leader's facial expression turning from a composed look to one of complete worry.

"Since none of you have any powers, I will leave you all alive, but you can only hope to catch me in the future now that I need to rebuild my operations in this city which is still falling apart even without me being involved."

As Diaz called this out, the dark mist started to slowly head towards the wall behind where Diaz was standing as it slowly made its way through it!

"Batman, are you guys ok?" Nightwing now clearly growing a little worried asked over the radio. Not seeing any explosions or anything out of the usual, he was still unsure why Batman would yell for everyone to get down and to protect themselves.

"Nightwing, we are all ok, but are you seeing anything towards the front of the warehouse on the right side?" Batman updating Nightwing asked as he waited for his answer.

"Noth-" seeing a dark mist going through the walls of the warehouse as it dispersed and sank into the ground, Nightwing was speechless before telling the rest of the team what he had just witnessed.

"Actually, I just saw some dark mist, but it looks as if it just dispersed and sank into the ground outside of the warehouse. What happened in there?" Nightwing said as he scratched his head in confusion.

"We will update you back in the cave." Batman replied to Nightwing after pulling out a little device. "As for you two, start heading back to the cave. I will not be far behind.

Still dumbfounded, Batgirl and Damien nodded their heads still a little taken back as they headed out of the warehouse. What they had just witnessed, definitely spooked them quite a bit.

Usually, on nights like this, there would never be any super natural occurrences unless they were trying to take down a usual criminal who had super powers like Poison Ivy. This was the first time, that either one of them saw something like this.

"That is strange." after using his device and seeing that it was unable to pick anything up from where Diaz stood as well as the wall the dark mist went out of, Batman could only put his device away before heading back to the bat cave himself.
