-See, my wife too feels the same. So, what do you think brother Ying? Would you accept my little Qingyue as your daughter-in-law?

Xiao Ying was in a little dilemma. He looked towards his father and wife. But he saw them nodding towards him smiling. So, he let out a sigh of relief and said,

-Since brother Hongyi is so insistent, it would bad if I were to refuse such good proposal. Let's have it this way then. I accept the marriage proposal for my son Xiao Che with Xia Qingyue. We shall conduct the marriage ceremony once they turn 16. Do everyone agree?

Xia Hongyi grinned ear to ear hearing Xiao Ying's confirmation.

-Thank you brother Ying. Now, if you would accept this little gift of mine?

-Oh sure, sure.

Xiao Ying carefully accepted the sword. It has to said that a earth profound sword is nothing much regarding world's perspective, but the number of such a treasure could counted in one hand in floating cloud city. Even the strongest clan here, which is Xiao clan, only have two. One for the patriarch, other for Xiao Lie who is their strongest expert. So, gifting earth grade profound sword is a big deal.

After that they started to chat more merrily, while other people from Xiao clan entertained all the guest present. Even though the marriage conversation happened where outsiders weren't there, but there were a few servants. So, this matter quickly spread through out like wild fire and everyone started to discuss about this arrangement.

It wasn't long before Xiao Che and other kids over heard the conversation about there marriage. Xiao Che couldn't help but grin lightly while other kids had a confused expression. After all they don't understand what marriage signifies, so it can't be helped. Xia Qingyue and Xiao Lingxi were about to ask Xiao Che, he said to them,

-Don't ask me, I don't understand anything either. Let's go to where grandfather and everyone else is and ask them.

So 4 children and one little bird made there way to where Xiao lie and everyone else is.

When the kids reached them, they found them happily chatting. Xiao Lingxi is the one who made them aware of their presence. She asked shouting,

-Father, brother. What is marriage?

-Oh look who are here? Why do you ask that?

Xiao Lie answered. He dotes on Lingxi as much he dotes on Xiao Che if not more. Xiao Lingxi answered,

-We heard people saying little Che is betrothed to sister Qingyue and they will get married when they turns 16. What does that mean father?

-Ohhh that... It means that little Che and little Qingyue shall be together forever when they married.

Xiao Lingxi again let out a shout and then said,

-heeeeeeee!? I absolutely wont accept this. How can you give little Che all to sister Qingyue? I want to be with little Che forever too. You must betroth me to little Che too.

Everyone's brow twitched when heard this remark. After few seconds, Xiao Yue told her,

-How can that be little Xi, aren't you little Che's dearest little aunt? There is now way little Che shall be all hogged by little Qingyue, right Little Che?

-Mother is right, how can I forget my dearest little aunt?

Xiao Che spoke with an absent minded voice which brought a pout from Qingyue. Initially she was very happy when she heard that she and her "big brother Che" can be always together. She began to list all the fun things they could do together. But then her sister Lingxi became third wheel demanding to betroth herself to her "big brother Che". This is simply unacceptable. Those two already living in the same house. She is already at a huge disadvantage. Now this! How can she get an upper hand over her sister Lingxi. After some thought, she came up with a plan. She asked her father,

-Father, when I get married to big brother Che, I would be his wife. right?

-Yes! Why do you ask?

-Would you please let me cultivate under grandfather-in-law?

-Ehhh? You want to cultivate so early? Why?

Her mother asked. She replied,

-Big bother Che is number one genius. That is known by all. How can I, his future wife remain weak? If I were to remain weak, won't people say I don't deserve to be with him. So, I want to cultivate too.

-But cultivation is not a fun thing to do you know my future daughter-in-law.

Xiao Ying said with a smile.

-I don't care. To be with big brother Che, no matter how boring it is, I shall persist.

Xia Qingyue said throwing her little fist in air, which looked very cute. Xiao Lie just shook his head smiling and asked,

-What do you say lord Hongyi. It wont hurt to do some mild training and cultivation. Who knows, she might be a better talent than our little Che.(Author: You should really stop that big mouth of yours old man.)

-Ah, won't it cause problem for my future son-in-law, would it?

-Not at all, Little Che is very intelligent and hardly requires my instruction. So it wont be problem at all.

Xiao Lingxi was dumbfounded hearing this. She felt like her little Che is being snatched away from her. First the betrothal and now they shall cultivate together! She must not let her sister Qingyue go ahead of her. She hugged Xiao Lie and said,

-Father, father let me cultivate too. I want to cultivate too.

Xiao Lie answered,

-You are still too young Xi'er. When you turn 3 we shall talk about it.

That being said, when everyone was discussing this, Xiao Che was intently looking at Dongxue, his future mother-in-law. It must be said she is 99% same as Xia Qingyue when she grew up, an absolute world toppling beauty. But she is now her shadow as years of ailment has eaten away her glamour. Still what remains of her is enough to wage war between nation. But now Xiao Che has no time admiring the beauty as he was examining her condition with profound sense as much as he could. After watching for a while, Dongxue finally noticed that her future son-in-law is intently. She asked,

-Son-in-law, do you want to say something?
