Mark was extremely excited. He had been dreaming of this exact situation ever since he opened his very first fantasy book that he had read which was “The Walls of Air” by Barbara Hambly. It was a story about a group of heroes transported to a different world. It was book two, meaning he read it blindly not knowing that it was a middle of a trilogy. Mark did not care since it opened his mind and introduced him to a world govern by magic.

After eating, Mark prepared himself by taking a shit and shower again and wore his favorite shirt and pants. Then he stood in front of his bedroom door and pointed at it and thought “Assign Dungeon Door”. Suddenly, a shimmering blue portal appeared inside the door that looked much like Diablo Two”s town portal. Looking at it, Mark was mesmerized for a bit and he thought that reality is very different from the graphics of the game. It was much more intense and he thanked all the powers that be that he was one of the random individuals selected by the system. He thought that maybe he had used all the luck that he had for this lifetime. Without hesitation, Mark entered the portal knowing that the first floor was a safe location.

Upon entering, the first floor of the dungeon, it was exactly what he was expecting. It was a cave around one hundred square meters with rough wall and high ceiling. It looked very much a cave, with rough, uneven stone floor. Mark remembered one of the things that the system stated – that the system was tailored to the specific individual and that maybe the reason why the first floor was exactly what he was expecting. It may or may not be true but at the same time, it did not really matter to him. Roaming his gaze on the floor, he knew that this floor will be his first dimensional home. It will take a lot for the place to be habitable and he knew that at most he will just put furniture and rugs on the place. Mark also kept in mind that there were other safe floors that he can use.

Looking at his System Interface, under the system Boon it stated that Mark was on the first floor of the dungeon and that the opening for the second floor was at the portal at the far end the section . There were also other information, like how it said that once a floor was cleared, it will take two days for the creatures to respawn after the death of the last mob . The drop rate will also progressively decrease in quantity and quality compared to the first time the mob were killed and his level progresses. It also stated that he can always return to the portal and use it anytime he was out of combat, meaning at least thirty seconds from his last engagement with the monster.

After inspecting the first section, he went to the portal and went back to his room. Once he was back, Mark pointed at the dungeon door and thought “Dungeon Close”. The portal closed but he knew that it was still assigned to his bedroom door. He went to his bed and sat down. His first intention was to continue checking out the second floor of the dungeon but remembered that he did not have any weapon or assigned his skill point yet. Even though Mark thought that maybe the first monster that he could have seen was a slime, he was not sure. What if it were goblins or wolves which were also staple level one monsters in most computer games. If that was the case, he was sure that he would have died.

Hi.  I noticed that the number of my words per chapter is way below 1k which was suppose to be the standard.  Unfortunately, I'm typing using my phone on a word app and it doesn't have a number of words per chapter or page feature but scribble hub itself did.  So after Chapter 11, I'll make sure that it's at least 1k per chapter.  Thank you.
