Delayed Transfer

Mark, Donald and his brother the lawyer arrived at Elizabeth’s room after a few minutes of walking.  It actually took a few minutes.  That’s how big the mansion was.  Before they entered, Donald asked if he would need to be alone with Elizabeth.  Mark just said that it’s okay for them to stay inside the room as well.  Robert was glad and his brother was relieved, probably thought that Mark was a scammer and with them in the room, any potential trouble could be avoided.

When they entered, Mark saw the room, although elegant, was full of hospital equipment.  Elizabeth was sleeping.  She was very thin and her bald head was covered with a silk head wrap.  Donald then looked questioningly at him.  Mark just looked at Elizabeth then cast the Dryad’s Circle spell without any gestures. 

Trees grew from the ground surrounding the bed where Elizabeth was sleeping and they could hear laughter from a lady hiding amongst the trees.  They could smell the scent of the forest and flowers and it was sweet.  It brought joy and refreshes their body and mind.  Elizabeth woke up and when she saw the trees and the lady who was peeking at her from amongst the trees,  she smiled. 

Donald saw Elizabeth woke up and walked to her.  After twenty seconds, the trees disappeared with a lingering laugh from the lady amongst the trees.   Elizabeth who was sickly and pale visibly flushed and you could actually see the paleness disappeared.  She removed her silk head wrap and you could actually see hair growing from her head but after a couple of inches it stopped.   Donald smiled and cried at the same time while hugging Elizabeth.

“What happened Donald?  When I saw the lady and the forest, I thought I died.  I even thought that it’s heaven, although a very different heaven from what I was expecting.”  Elizabeth said still full of wonder.

“How do you feel?” Donald asked still crying.

“I feel..I feel great!” Elizabeth said.  She was very surprised.  She pushed Donald a bit and tried  standing up.  Donald tried to stop her but she stubbornly kept at it.  When she’s able to stand up, she cried and held her hand on his mouth.

“My teeth!  They’ve grown back!  Oh my God, I don’t hurt anymore! What happened Donald?” Elizabeth asked Donald who was still crying as well.

“Mark there cured you.” Donald said while gesturing toward Mark.  “The doctors are coming in a few minutes.  Let’s wait for them so we can have a definite conclusion.”

Elizabeth looked at Mark with questions still in her eyes.  Donald then said to Elizabeth that they will talk to him later, after the doctor’s tests.  Donald’s brother invited Mark out of the room and they went back to the study to wait there. 

After an hour,  Donald together with Elizabeth entered the study.   Mark and Donald’s brother stood up to greet them.

“I’m sorry for making you wait, Mark.  Elizabeth’s fully cured and the doctors were amazed.” Donald said.

“I don’t even know how to begin to thank you.  Suddenly all the hurt’s gone.  My teeth even grew back.  I can’t imagine how you’re able to do what you do but again thank you.” Elizabeth said gratefully. 

“Please don’t thank me, Ms. Dren.  You’re husband’s paying me generously.”

“I know but I also know that all the money in the world couldn’t have cure me but you were still able to.  I’ll leave you guys here to talk.  Thank you again.”  Elizabeth then left.

“Okay let’s talk business.  Please give me your account number.”

Mark gave Donald his account number.  He then asked Donald’s brother the lawyer, if he could spend the money without any problem like the IRS questioning him or something.  The lawyer answered that he could spend the money anyway he wants and if he encountered any problem to just call him.  He then gave Mark a card with his information.  Mark received a  notification on his phone that he received the money from Donald.   He then asked Donald if he could help him purchase a nice house in Ventura.  Donald said that he would ask one of agents to call him.

Mark then said to Donald that if he had any rich friends who wanted cure to any diseases, he could call him.  Donald was surprised and understood immediately.  He was a veteran businessman.  Mark then dropped a bomb at them.

“Didn’t you notice anything yourself? Concerning your bodies?  The forest also cured you and your brother of any ailment you may have.”  Mark smiled at them and said that he was ready to leave and would expect a call regarding the purchase of house in Ventura.

Robert came and took Mark home to Ventura.  When they arrived there, before Robert left, he thanked Mark again for what he did for his cousin.  Mark just smiled and said goodbye.

Since it was still early in the afternoon,  Mark decided to go ahead and go to the Seventh Floor of the dungeon and try to complete it before the day ends.  When he arrived on the Seventh Floor of the Dungeon, he saw that it was still a forest.  He did the usual, casting Space Shield and Barkskin then floated forward using levitation.  He also tried teleportation for a bit and Mark found it fun although he got dizzy during the first couple of teleportation but he then got used to it.  He also tried Invisibility but when he casted Levitation,  the invisibility was cancelled.  He tried casting Invisibility while levitation was active and he did turn invisible. 

As the description said, any action geared toward offense or any spell casting would cancel Invisibility but during tests, he found out that if he cast the spell already, then cast Invisibility, the spell would take effect.  He wasn’t able to do it with Teleportation since it was instant cast.  He was very happy with the skill since he could now float invisible just like a ghosts and could use it for ambush.
