Since it only took a few minute for the conversation with Mark’s relative to take place, he decided to go ahead and tackle the 9th floor of the dungeon.  He wasted no time in equipping his items and head to the said floor.  The moment he got there he cast his Space Shield, Bark Skin and Floating Sunflower.  He floated ahead using his Levitation skill.  The moment he stumbled on the first group of enemies, he activated Invisibility so he can ambush them.

There was a new monster in the group.  It looked like an evil version of his Tree Golems summon.  Aside from the evil looking tree golem, the monsters were the same as the previous floor, a combination of Spiders, Kobolds and Orcs.

When he was near enough, Mark cast his Space Tower for high defense then hurl a Chain Void Lightning to the group.  He then cast Glacial Void at them for control together with Swamp of Briar.  He then cast Void Tsunami and then Void Storm.  He repeated his castings until all of the enemy were dead.  He looted all the drops and decided to store it on his Inventory without Identifying them.  He also decided to tally all the earned stats and skill points at the end of his dungeon dive.

Mark completed the 9th floor without any mishaps.  The combination of spells that he had was enough to destroy all of the enemies without him receiving any damage.  He again didn’t even need to summon his golems.  He knew that he was becoming powerful with stats and skills that he have but he’s got an inkling that the floor dungeon level 2 to level 10 was a tutorial dungeon.  That was probably the reason why the monsters were too easy and the item drops were trash.

It was 11 in the evening when he completed the floor and he was really thankful of the Mage Light  skills because it did allow him to work in the evening.  After he was done storing all the looted dungeon items on the 1st floor, Mark went to his room to rest after cleaning himself.

In the morning, Mark checked the stats and skill points that he earned.  First off, he leveled up from 39 to 42 and earned a total of 8 stat points, 3 of which was from leveling up and 5 from monster drop. He also earned a total of 13 skill points, 3 of which were from leveling up and 10 from monster drops.

Mark decided to put 5 points of the stats earned to Intelligence bringing it up to 30 and increasing the damage modifier to times 6.  Meaning, his base Intelligence stats will add an addition 30 multiplied to 6 to his skills damage.  He then added 1 point to Wisdom bring it up to 40 from 39.  It increased his MP to 800 and MP regeneration to 18 MP per 5 minutes.  He kept the remaining 2 stat points.

Regarding the 13 skill points, Mark decided to get Forest Sanctuary and its requirement was level 3 Dryad’s Circle so he added 2 points to Dryad’s Circle and 1 Point to Forest Sanctuary.  Level 3 Dryad’s Circle now had a cast cost of 35 MP with 7 HP and MP per second regeneration in a 20 second duration.  No additional benefit to its detoxification and cure disease ability.

Forest Sanctuary at level 1 had a casting cost of 40 MP with 20 second duration same as Dryad’s Circle.  It had a 10 HP and MP regeneration per second.  It could also detoxify and cure disease.  The main difference was, the description said that it was a sanctuary of ancient forest creatures and no enemy would be able to enter the sanctuary.  It meant that aside from the dryad, there should be other magical forest creatures appearing. It also had the ability to block any enemy from entering and nullify any long range attack from the enemy during its duration.  It’s a very powerful support skill.

Mark decided to add the rest of the 10 skill points to Inventory and Replicate.  Adding 5 points to Inventory brought it up to 30 from 25.  It increased the grid to 160 by 160 and decreased the MP consumption to 1 MP per 25 kilogram of matter.  Adding 5 points to Replicated increased it to 25 and increased its grid to 160 by 160 and decreased it MP consumption to 1 MP per 20 Kilogram of matter.

Mark sat up from the bed and cast Forest Sanctuary.  Just like Dryad’s Circle, a forest grew in the surrounding but it was different from Dryad’s circle because he could see more mystical creatures.  He saw some Sprites flitting around the flowers that bloomed near the trees and the flowers had this soft moonlight like glow that brought a dream like ambiance to the forest.  He saw around some dryads hiding in the trees and he actually saw a unicorn looking from behind the bushes while eating some berries.  It was beautiful beyond belief.  It ended too soon and he had the urge to cast it again so he could stay in that slice of paradise on earth.  He shook himself up from his dream like trance and went and did his morning rituals.

Mark was planning to complete the 10th floor of the dungeon today since he didn’t have any important appointment.  He really wanted to check out the 11th floor since he was planning for the 1st floor to be his storage area for things and the 11th floor to be his home.  Of course if the other lower safe floors were larger and more beautiful, he would move but for now he really wanted to plan and build what was going to be his long term home in the dungeon.  He thought that it would be better to start early so he could modify it as  needed.

Mark also decided that after finishing the 10th floor, he would go on vacation!  His progress so far when it came to his level and strength was very good so didn’t have this urgent feeling anymore of rushing so he would have enough strength to survive once he transmigrated.  He knew that he probably had enough time and he wanted to enjoy his time on earth as well.  He didn’t want to have any regrets of not touring his home planet before the chance disappeared.  He would like to see Akihabara the mecca in Japan,  train station 9 and ¾ in London, The hobbit’s burrows in New Zealand and a lot more.  He could always run the dungeon anytime since he could summon the portal anywhere as long as there was a door that he could assign it to and it would be safe since nobody but his party members could see and enter it.
