Delayed Transfer

Mark called Sam and informed him that he would be gone for at most a week and to continue with the project of downloading all the animes, movies, music, webnovels, mangas and games that he could.  He asked Sam if he would need more resources and Sam said that he could use a few more laptops and he would need to hire people to get the job done fastser.  Mark agreed with his suggestion of hiring more people and sent around 200k to him.  He also asked Sam to call him in case anything happened or if he would need more funds.  Sam agreed and happily ended the call.

Mark thought of what he would need to bring to London but apparently, everything he might need was already stored in his Inventory.  He also made sure to secure the house and to put the fuel of the car from the garage to the 1st Floor of the dungeon.  Mark thought that since his Inventory was large enough, he would make sure to purchase a lot of good food from there if he could find any to his taste.  He would also tour London and maybe some of the surrounding cities.  He also prepared a small backpack with clothes and some essentials as a cover up for his Inventory.

Mark called Donald and said that he was ready to go to London! Donald told him that he would send someone to fetch him and he would be driven directly to the airport.  When the car that Donald sent arrived, he saw Manuel came out.  He greeted Manuel and Manuel said that he would be coming with him to London to act as his secretary.  Mark just shrugged and entered the car. 

“I’m so excited! Can’t wait to go to Hogwarts, I mean London!”  Mark said to Manuel.

When Mark arrived at the airport, the car that they were using drove directly almost to the entrance of the private plane.  He saw Donald waiting for him at the entrance of the plane and when he got inside, he was impressed by the understated elegance of the aircraft.  He was jokingly expecting it to be like the private planes he saw in the movies with its own  bar and maybe some sexy stewardess ready to bring him to the part of the plane where the bed was located.

The actual lady stewardess who assisted them although beautiful, was on the older side.  Understandable considering how devoted Donald seemed to be with his wife especially now that she was well.  He then saw Elizabeth there and was surprised.

“Hi Mark.  Surprised!”  Elizabeth hugged him.  After the stewardess led them to sofa located at the side and a huge television set on the other, she and Manuel left to give them privacy.

Mark, Donald and Elizabeth sat down and talked. 

“The business colleague that I was talking about, his wife is Elizabeth’s best friend.  Apparently they met when they were younger on a ski resort, Isn’t that right, hon?”

“Yes.  We were young and we got into a lot of shenanigans.  Her name is Danielle.  She took her husband’s last name so she’s Danielle Scott now although I remember clearly, her spouting so much nonsense of keeping her last name since she is a “feminist”.” Elizabeth laughed.

“Her husband’s name is Robert Scott and he is now one of the largest land owner in England.  He first got his money as a business man and he was the owner of the largest retail grocery in England.  Unfortunately, Danielle and Robert’s son contracted ALS." Elizabeth continued.

"When Elizabeth called Danielle, against my advise…” Donald said but got interrupted by Elizabeth.

“She’s my best friend!”

 “As I was saying, when Elizabeth called her friend and told her she got cured of her Stage 4 Breast Cancer, she was hugely surprised.”  Donald continued while looking at Elizabeth sternly.

“Elizabeth then told Danielle that it was a miracle brought by a wizard.” 

Elizabeth blushed and said softly…”Well, it’s true.”

“So when Robert heard the situation from Danielle, he called me and I explained the details to him since he had been a colleague of mine for quite awhile and he knew that the matter is private.”

“It’s okay.  I did tell you to tell anybody who’s rich and willing to pay what I can do.”  Mark said.

“Yes.  That’s what I told Robert.” 

They heard the announcement from the captain of the plane that they were about to take off so they sat on passenger seats.

While they were in the air Mark thought of what would happed if he summon the dungeon entrance on the plane but of course it was just a passing thought.

It took several hours before they arrived at an airport in England and then they were directly driven by a Limousine to a mansion in London.  They were greeted by a couple who he assumed were Robert and Danielle Scott when they arrived at the mansion.  He was a bit disappointed since he was actually expecting a butler to greet them. 

Elizabeth hugged Danielle and Donald shook hands with Robert.  He then introduced Mark as his friend.  Since it was already night time, Robert said that they should rest on their rooms and that they would talk in the morning.  An old British man came to them from somewhere and asked them if they were ready to go their rooms and rest.  Mark was now content since he could now see an actual butler.  The butler then called a couple of ladies who were actually wearing maid uniforms and told them that the maids would lead them to their rooms.  Mark was giddy with happiness of hearing their accents and seeing their clothes.  He was almost expecting to hear one of them to say that she was a witch from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

After a night of rest, Mark, Donald and Elizabeth met with Robert and Danielle on what he assumed was a living room since it looked so extravagant that it was unrecognizable what kind of room it was.  Robert then asked them directly if Mark could cure their son, Albert, of his ALS.  Donald told Robert that Mark was able to cure any type of cancer so it was highly possible that ALS could be cured as well but since it wasn’t tested before they were not 100 percent sure. 

Danielle then asked Elizabeth if it hurt when she was cured.  Elizabeth thought for a moment and then answered her directly.

“I was asleep when it happened.  A feeling came to me as if suddenly all the weight that I was carrying was gone.  I thought I died because suddenly I don’t hurt anymore and when I woke up, I saw the most beautiful lady I have ever seen.  She was so beautiful that it was unreal.  I heard her laugh and its as if that laugh was the sound of the forest blessing me.  After that, I was able to stand.  Even my teeth and my hair grew back.  I would really like to see that lady again.”  Elizabeth reminisced.
