“Yes, you’re right! I want the sword since you know, I really like to be up close and personal with the monsters.  Too bad we don’t have a shield so I can go full tank.”  Sam said to Mark.

“The sword is actually for a damage dealer not a tank based on its skill.  So that means we need someone who will play the wizard, the archer and the cleric.”

“We definitely need to include Jason.  He’s the best wizard there is in the guild.  Actually in the whole game!”

“Who’s Jason?” Mark asked Sam.

“His name is Enleed in the game.”

“Oh yeah of course I know him.  How do you know his name in real life?”

“We talked sometime about him wanting to write a web  novel and it led to me promising to be his first patron so he gave me his would be Patreon user name which has the name Jason in it and I asked him and he said it’s his name.”

“Does he live near here?”

“Yeah, he’s in L.A. and I’m sure he’ll be down in raiding the dungeon.  It’s a real life dungeon man!  A true blue gamer would probably shit himself if they new that a real life dungeon exist.”

“You can’t know for sure.  I know someone who told me once that he was glad monsters and dungeon isn’t real since he didn’t want to be a part of a world that has to fight them regularly.”  Mark said to Sam doubtfully.

“Hmmph, you believe him?  He’s just trying to convince himself that it was better that It isn’t real because he just wanted to believe that his shitty real life is enough for him.”

Mark shrugged and then said to Sam that he would be the summoner, and Sam would be the front line damage dealer using the sword, Jason aka Enleed would be their wizard if he was willing to join.  They needed to find two more who would be willing to join and would be discreet and not blab to everybody about the dungeon’s existence.

Sam then recommended one more guild mate who live nearby.  Her name was Armina.  She was their top archer from the guild and Sam said he would talk to her first to sound her out.  Mark agreed and gave that responsibility to Sam.  For the role of healer they can’t actually think of anyone since all the support that was part of their guild lived very far away.  Mark then considered an idea that he presented to Sam to check his opinion.

“Why don’t we offer it to Donald Dren or to a person he would recommend for money?  Basically selling the role out and we would split it four ways?  So if we sold it to him for like, 2 million dollars, we’ll split it four ways.”  Mark really didn’t need to do it that way, since he could earn a lot of money by healing rich folks.  It was just he was hoping he could share money earnings to his would be party mates so they don’t have to be bothered by real life issues like how to pay their bills.

“It could be dangerous Mark.  What if he got greedy and threaten you until you give him the necklace that can summon the dungeon?”  Sam said doubtfully.

“Well, anybody we invite could do that as well, but maybe you’re right.  At least any nerd that we do invite will not have the resources to threaten us I think.  I hope.  If we really can’t find anyone, at worst we can assign the role to Melissa”.

Sam snorted then said that it wouldn’t work.  Melissa abhored any sort of physical activity that would break her nails.

“You just said that since she always tease us about being otakus.”  Mark laughed.

“Anyways let me try the sword first.” Sam asked.

“Ok let me get it.”  Mark went to his bedroom for privacy since the sword was actually in his Inventory.  When he came back, he gave the sword to Sam.

“So how do I use it.  And why the heck can I carry this sword easily? It must have weigh a kilogram!”

“Well when I Identified it, it also add five to the Strength stat and based on the description, an average man’s strength is about four or five so that meant, it doubled your strength, I think.  I’m not really sure if it actually double your strength.  Let’s go to the back so you can test it out.”  Mark together with Sam went to the backyard to test the sword.

When they were outside, Sam first tested the sword by swinging it about and he said he could easily swing it without any problem.  Mark suddenly felt a little concerned since theory was way different from the actual scenario of him getting up close and personal to a goblin and stabbing it.

“Try to use the skill by having the intent of using the skill Cleave when you swing it in front of you.”

Mark stood a little further to avoid any accident and then he saw Sam used the skill.  The sword actually emitted a faint red light then it was swung horizontally in front of Sam.

“Oh my God! I felt it when I activated the skill!  I felt its power and it feels like I could slash the world!” Sam said excitedly.

“Are you fine?  Do you feel drained or tired?"  Mark asked Sam.

“Actually… yes.  I felt tired like, I don’t know, I just finished a jerk off or something.”

“Eeww.  So how many times do you think you can do the skill in say 10 minutes?”

“Probably just five times and then I’ll get too tired to move after that.”

“Let’s try it out now.”  Mark suggested to Sam.

Sam then activated the skill five times and he decided to do it consecutively with around ten seconds interval each activation.  He told Mark that he was too tired to do it again after five times activation.

“Hmm so that’s the limit you can do per combat.  The person who will use the staff and the scepter will have a big advantage over you and the archer since they will not use their stamina in casting their spells, I think.”

“You’re right.  So we really need to plan it extensively and practice before doing the dive to avoid mishaps.” Sam said to Mark.
