Delayed Transfer

Mark sat beside Enleed and Armina and asked if they would need help in finding a professional to talk to.

“And what would we say to a therapist?  That we killed someone using magic?  I wouldn’t be surprised if they shipped us to the looney bin.”  Armina said sarcastically.

“We can only help each other to go through with this.”  Enleed said.

“Okay, we will form our own support group then starting tomorrow.  We will go to Miguel and Sonia’s house to talk to each other about what happened.  Of course we will not be doing a dungeon dive tomorrow.  I’ll go ahead and call Donald to inform them.”

Mark then called Donald that the next dungeon dive would be on Sunday because of something personal.  He also called Sam to tell him that the group would go to Miguel and Sonia’s house tomorrow.  He told Sam that they would need to form a support group since it was the first time all of them killed someone and they would need the emotional support of the group.  It was a good thing that both Miguel and Sonia were teachers and knew that they would help a lot.  They also need to talk about what they would need to do with Luis’s body.

Everyone retired to their room and since it was early, Mark went to the 11th floor of the dungeon to work on his house there.

The next day, Mark and the gang went to Miguel and Sonia’s house.  Sam, Melissa and their parents were already waiting for them.  All of them sat in the living room and talked about what they felt when they killed the Mexican gang and how could they cope on the feeling that they were turning into monsters.  Miguel and Sonia were a great help but they knew it would take some time for them to get over what happened.

Mark then asked the group what to do with Luis’s body.  When everybody was stumped, he suggested that they bring the body back to Luis’s apartment and stage a robbery then they could go ahead and do the funeral.

Enleed glanced on his phone and said that they were on the news.  They opened the television and saw that there was a report of  a freak tornado that destroyed a warehouse.  The reporter were thankful that the tornado only devastated that single location and did not move elsewhere.  Everybody then looked at Mark.

“What did you do?”  Sam asked.

“As I’ve said, I destroyed the evidence.”

“You didn’t destroy the evidence, you destroyed the place!  I didn’t know you had that kind of power!” Enleed said.

“I’ve been delving the dungeon far longer that you so I do have that power.  I just didn’t show you because I don’t want you guys to get overwhelmed.”

“Is that the kind of power we could get at the lower level of the dungeon?” 

“Yes, but remember the items are all random so we wouldn’t know the specific.”

“Is what you’re doing safe?”  Sonia asked worriedly.

Sam told his parent that it was safe since Mark had been protecting them.  After saying goodbye to Melissa and her parents, Mark, Sam, Enleed and Armina drove to Luis’s apartment to stage the robbery.

Once they got there, they put Luis’s body on the couch and Sam called the police.

When the police arrived, the group were waiting outside.  The police asked the details and Sam told them that he was Luis’s cousin and the group were suppose to go outside to eat and plan their next DnD session but when Luis was not answering the door, Sam opened it using the key that was given to him by Luis and they found his body on the couch.

Sam did say to the police that when they went inside, they may have touched the body to confirm its state.  The police then assured them that an investigation would be done.  The coroner took Luis’s body to the morgue and the gang went home.  They would wait for the investigation to conclude then they would go ahead and do the funeral for Luis.

On the way home, Sam said to Mark that he would stay with his parents and Melissa up until the funeral concluded.  Mark drove Sam to his parents house then they went home.   They saw that Donald was waiting for them at the door.

Mark invited Donald in and all of them went to the living room to talk.

“So what happened?  I saw the news about that freak tornado and knew that it had something to do with you.”

Mark told the details of what happened to Sam and Melissa’s parents and at the end he told Donald that he destroyed the warehouse to erase evidence.

“You have that kind of power?” Donald asked.

“You asked the same thing as Sam and yes I do have that kind of power.  That is the power that you can get at the lower level of the dungeon.  We may also need help from your brother regarding Luis’s case, is that alright?”

“Yes that’s fine.  I’ll call him to inform him.”

“Donald, I may need to sell more items that I will get from the lower level of the dungeon and it may  become a burden to you.  Could you help me find other buyers?”

“Of course it will not be a burden to me!  I’m researching the things that your selling to me.  I will give you an appropriate price on the items or as appropriate as I can and if you’re wary that I’m not giving you the correct price we can call Robert and ask for his opinion.”

“No, no I trust you.  I just don’t know the world of the rich so I really don’t know what you’re capable of and I don’t want you feel responsible for giving us money all the time.”

Donald laughed and said that it will not be a burden and he knew that for the price of the items that he was getting was actually a bargain.
