Riding on top the flying lizard, Jian lin with his new wife aimin started their journey towards the goblin village. In just a matter of half a day without rest, the flying lizard covered the great distance, which may take several days for Jian lin by foot.

No matter how many times he view it's attributes, he became excited. " Lesser dragon! if it could raise it's level by five more times, I would have a mount that belongs to the race of dragons! "

Jian lin was also excited after seeing the new column of blessing added to his mount.

It was a super cheat to begin with! His flying lizard didn't even had a need for levelling. It could sit lazily around a corner and level up simultaneously without working hard.

The prerequisite would be for Jian lin to increase his levels simultaneously, as long as he makes an breakthrough in levels, his mount could very well become a lesser dragon. And who knows if sufficient conditions are met, it could become a real dragon of the legends!

Prying into the past of Jian lin, the existence of dragon was a myth, and it was known that every dragon within the same cultivation realm could be considered invincible.

A thought had ran across Jian lin's mind, even if his mount could receive a blessing being bound to him, then what about his wife? Who was about to spend the rest of her life with him! Wouldn't she also receive a blessing for that?

Jian lin has never seen through her attributes after their marriage. So he naturally was ignorant of the fact that his wife being a high status in his life had not just received a single blessing being bound to him, but a couple of them.

" Surprisingly, Aimin got an additional blessing partner, which is quite beneficial to me. Half of the experience earned by her would supplement me! What more could i ask? it's like I had sprouted in additional hand to begin with. That increases my efficiency in levelling. "

" Stop! " Jian lin gave an order to his mount, just when he reached near to the goblins dwelling.

They landed on the branch of a tall tree which was few kilometers away from the goblin's village, to avoid arousing their suspicion.

The tree could be considered in its juvenile phase, as it was few times smaller than the one Jian lin climbed a day before.

Jian lin made his wife to wait for him on the flying lizard and went out to scout the goblin village to devise an destructive plan on their base, that is to slaughter them as a whole.

Jian lin who went around to scout the goblins dwelling had returned back with an ugly expression over his face.

Quite different from his interpretation, Jian lin who had wiped out a whole den of goblins before, had underestimated the goblins in the second floor.

" What the hell! Is this supposed to be a village. This is literally a full armed fort! " What he seen had left a deep impact on his mind.

The goblin village was fully armed with weapons. Not just some random weapons made out of stones, like barbarians, they were fully armed with metal from top till bottom. With sharp weapons welded by then that looks quite durable. They were even of a better quality than the ones owned by him.

The walls were tall and mighty. They were fully reinforced with metallic alloys, that made them quote resistant to corrosion.

There were many agricultural fields growing food crops and certain plots that were filled with rich and juicy fruits to sustain food demand for both their natives as well as the tribes, around them.

It was difficult to employ a frontal confrontations, as the goblin tribes under their jurisdiction had made their settlements around the village, making an another line of defense for the core village.

Jian lin pondered, " I may die a hundred times if I recklessly try to charge my way into their settlement. Since normal methods could not be employed, so what? Can they still escape from the vicious tricks of this Jian lin.

It was 10 days before the deadline set by the system.

Jian lin scouted for more than three days, gathering enough information to device a ploy against that fortified village.

There's a old saying that goes by, which states that, the more a person learns about his enemy, the more would be his chances of victory.

The information he gathered after scouting around the area, spending a valuable time of three day were quite fruitful.

Firstly, there was a trouble of goblin tribes surrounding the moat. Six major tribes and forty minor tribes were present as an outer defense.

The major tribe pose more of a trouble than the rest of the minor tribes as they head count had exceeded five hundred small goblins, with the presence of few m.a.t.u.r.ed goblin, that were leaded by a hobgoblin as their leader, whose strength was considered to be apex in this current floor of the trial tower and were also the existences that could become a thorn in his way to destroy their village.

Comparable to major tribe, the minor tribe posses no major problem in his path, as it was leaded by a bunch of m.a.t.u.r.ed goblins acting as their bosses which were followed by few tens of small goblins, that lived off their life under their guidance. Their area of settlement was also filled with holes that could he exploited by him.

Surrounding the walls, in the moat that could be quickly dispatched to a side when needed, they acted as a middle defense, that were fully loaded heavy artillery.

Thirdly, the sturdy metal wall, it was wide and larger, strong and durable to withstand heavy damage, it could be noted as an final line of defense.

Fourthly, the goblin cavalry, sounds hilarious but sure lives up to the name of chivalry.

If any intruder that had managed to enter the village crossing the final line of defense would be hunted brutally by them and slaughter mercilessly until they beg for it.

They domesticated solar wolfs that had a white girl growing on its forehead, and could be properly used as a mounts if trained properly.

With the advantage of their build that's about the size of a fully grown rhinoceros, with the ability of an cheetah, their advantage in the inner walls were also a major cause as to why this village was capable enough to stand against all the odds on this floor till the present day.

Occasionally they would be dispatched from the core to the periphery, to maintain order and control the tribes better under the situation of riots.

Lastly, ten or more Hobgoblin at their peak of their powers were present as pillars of support, that manage the village. But the most problematic thing in the village is an evolving abnormal hobgoblin, which can evolve to ogre at any moment from now.

Jian lin could take down the four lines of defense easily as there were too many holes in their defense, which could be used to backfire it on them. But if the hobgoblin or the evolving hob arrived faster than his expects, his plan may very well result in a failure.

" Aimin, I have an important mission for you! Can you help your husband on this particular task. "

She knew that Jian lin has not voluntarily challenged other tribes to get her hand, but was tricked by old kark, and he had to take responsibility for her from then.

Aimin burst out in anxiety, she was exited as Jian lin was showing some trust in her not just because of some damn responsibility he need to uphold, but was giving her an task and depending on her. She also want to share some of her husband's burden upon her shoulders as what a wife should do.

He gave Aimin a goblins armour, which he obtained sneakily by killing the patrol guards that slacked off their duty and we're dozing off after drinking some boonze.

" Attack randomly, burn their food, belongings and oils, plunder them if you can, and most importantly you are pretending to be a goblin, so never expose your face outside.

And in case our plan works out well, we'll proceed to our next plan..... "

His first plan was simple, bring down the outer defense. The outer defense could only be dragged down, if there was a heavy distress between the adjacent tribes, like in cases of riots over food shortage and infighting.

" Hey flying lizard, listen to your master orders..... " Jian lin gave his flying lizard a simple menial task, burn the surrounding forest and drive the wild beasts and monsters into the Goblin's dwelling.

8 days before the deadline

Two days had passed around in a flash, it was the day his scheme came into result.

The surrounding tribes were in an dismay, several noises could be heard by him. It caused as a result of the internal riots by goblins tribes.

Jian lin could very well feel the land below him trembling gently, and scent of the burnt vegetation in the air could also be sensed by him, he exclaimed. " Perfect timing! the lizard had done it's part well! "

Jian lin has been practicing his skill, fire blade, and polishing the skill over the past two days, he was also adapting himself to his current state of body, as he used to have a mighty body of a venerable cultivator a week earlier, before his tragic death.

It's sure hard for a person to adapt himself to a new weaker body. It would be similar to the case where a person had suddenly turned crippled and had to recultivate his powers from scratch.

Comming back to present, Jian lin came near to the goblins dwelling. " So it's already begun then. Aimin had created a huge disturbance for sure. " He chucked with a sneer that could be spotted on the corner of his lips.

Aimin done her task well, not just well it could be called excellent with her results. More than 20 small tribes and 2 larger tribes were destroyed, as a result of the infight instigated by her under disguise.

The goblin cavalry were entirely dispatched from the central village, without a single unit left behind in the village to begin with. They were all patrolling around the rioting tribes, to bring the situation back to normal.

Just when the calvary had brought the situation back to normal. Their tribal settlements were trespassed by large animals and wild beast's, which started flooding into their domain, as they were escaping from forest fire to protect their lives.

Heavy losses were sustained to the cavalry, they were at their most vulnerable state possible.

How could Jian lin miss such an wonderful chance presented over to him. He unleashed his blades, sweeping the enemy in midst the chaos, showing his fruits of practice in using the skill, fire blade.

Diving into the battle field, killing the tens of goblin from chivalry, which were retreating at this moment, Jian lin was swiftly ending the life of the goblins and steadily increasing the experience he's earning tk increase his levels.

While he was busy killing the goblins, Aimin tactically understood the next part of her plan, that is to use the oil plundered from the goblin tribes for burining the sh.i.p.s and drowning them using the oil, that she was said to collect earlier.

Under these circ.u.mstances the metal doors were forced to opened to allow the survivors of tribes Into the fortified village by lowering their bridges to prevent further casualties from arising.

Jian lin took advantage of the chaos and swiftly entered the fort, and killed the guard that were about to raise the bridge, to prevent the entry of the beast horde into the fortified village.

Jian lin levelled up four times consecutively during these past couple of days, and was about to hit level 20, if his devices plan worked out.

But his plan failed the moment, when evolving hobgoblin turned into an ogre, just by its brute strength it wiped out the rampaging beast horde single-handedly

The ogre was like an unmovable mountain, not influenced by external forces. It's attribute value were pretty much high than Jian lin himself, and it's body was about 3 meters tall. With its eyes closed tightly, extruding an bone striking aura, it had placed both his hands on the silver-grey blade which was inserted deep into the ground.

It was standing like an unstoppable war beast that pulverized every thing in his way and made the situation get under control.

Seeing the massive numbers of its base attributes, and also the strong demonic armaments worn by it, Jian lin's heart started to bleed. His reasoning was, wasn't this trail supposed to be extermination of goblin village, why the hell does this ogre popped up, all of a sudden.

" Ding! Due to an unforeseen circ.u.mstance, a target had been mutated! Host has been presented with two major choices for this circ.u.mstance. Choice A, abandon the mission. Choice B, get systems mini boost. "

" What will happen, if I were to choose choice A for choice B, or the B itself. "

" Ding! if host were to choose choice A, and abandon the trial itself. A new trial would be presented to host for the current. But the consequences would rather be devastating to the human tribes in this world, at best would be enslaved by goblins, or be used for a livestock. "

" Ding! If host were to choose choice B, system will compensate the host with an increment of 30 attribute value to all stats and a temporary healing buff would also be provided by the system. "

Jian lin by nature, would not like to abandon the tribals, even if they were barbaric by a little. Now, Jian lin also got hold of a new wife, named Aimin. He also needs to protect her tribes future, as they were family to begin with.

Jian lin has to accepted choice B. Though he may be weak, he was not a coward. He would not abandon the people in the name of being weak.

Suddenly a new surge of power entered his body from an unknown source. It was mysterious and also over flowed his body. He felt as if he was experiencing a break through in strength.

Yes Jian lin break through and leveled up to 20 instantly. His body turned light, as a feather. His strength was also increasing exponentially. Suddenly system prompted a message before him.

" Ding! Host is still weak before the ogre, Suggesting host to use his acquired skill points to increase host's attributes. "

" Increase attributes! " He was startled. Jian lin was wondering that, what would be the use of skill points, which were pilling up in his stats, each time he levels up .

" Ding! Each skill point can raise the attributes of a specific attribute by 2. The special attributes of health and intelligence can be brought up by 10. suggesting host to choose wisely. "

Jian lin was extremely excited, but at the same time he was cursing himself for not putting up an question before system, about the existence of the skill points.

Had he known their properties earlier, he could had very well designed a plan that would be far better than the current one.

Since crying over spilled milk would not him any way, He instantly emptied 95 of his skill points and used them to raise his strength by 30, 20 for his defense, 20 for health points and 20 for intelligence. He felt confident enough to contend against that ogre by himself.

More than 80% of the goblins were killed by him. Now his flying lizard had also evolved to Wyvren. He was now confident enough to challenge this ogre, with his current powers.

The ogre due to his high sense value had already noticed the fluctuation of mana caused by Jian lin, when his strength exploded abruptly. This had naturally gave out the location of Jian lin so it.

It could clearly demarcate his location on top of the metal wall, and also reasonable enough to understand, why the gates were not shut to prevent the beast horde entry.

The ogre opened his large eyes, it's glare was dagger piercing to his hearts, it had an intimidating nature around it, also had a dark murderous aura which could even choke a person to death.

The ogre gave out a smirk, like an intelligent being which was able to see through all the secrets of Jian lin.

It's muscular legs suddenly burst out its strength, and pulled the blade out of the ground and swung it on Jian lin's direction. A dark colour ray, which at the speed of light rushed towards Jian lin.

Jian lin could very well sense dangerous vibes from this blow, he reacted rapidly by raising his blades, put it crossed, to act as a shield to guard against this blow.

Jian lin was thrown tens of feet away from his original position into the air. His arms were hurting like hell, If not for him to picked up his guard rapidly against that previous blow, it would had very well become his death blow instead.

All of a sudden, Jian lin felt a sinister aura looming behind him, which turns out to be the ogre.

Before Jian lin could even react, there was a deep gash over his back, he was send flying against the ground like a steel ball being tossed into the the land, it burst out into a spider web pattern, with Jian lin who had been burrowed few feet inside the land.

Jian lin lost 500 HP in that last blow. If not for him to spent the skill points into health as well. He may had very well been insta killed in that last attack.

He instantly picks up his guard, to fend off against its next blow, but found it to be not present over the air and lost track of it.

He again felt the same chilling sensation looming behind his back. so the ogre had already sneaked behind his back. Since ancient attack was about to be launched on him again, he used his blade as a shield and lept backwards to reduce the impact, but still was sent flying, hundreds of feet above in sky this time.

His blades were destroyed in the impact. At such an high altitude, Jian lin was sure that the moment he falls down would be the moment of his death.

His vision turned blurred all of sudden, time was passing by slowly, as if it was gonna last forever. He was not able to hear a thing nor since the presence of air gushing over his body. He felt death aura looming over him this instant.

All the memories before his death till today had flashed back to him this once.

There's a saying that, when a person is on his death bed, taking his last breaths. His memories would be flashed before him at once, to let him know of his good deeds as well as the bad ones, before his soul was about to pass through the gates of afterlife.

Jian lin reasoned, " If I die! Then wouldn't my choice of picking option B would be futile! What about revenge? What about my new responsibility? What would happen to this world after I passed on? " Many questions started popping his mind. " I don't want to die! I still want to live! I must get my revenge! I must uphold my responsibilities! So I must live~~~ !! "
