Destiny: Myriad Worlds' Forgotten Awakening Rebirth

A few weeks later~

Though MiRae and her brother drops by the cafe from time to time, as well as Kuro and the twins, Ai Li and Ai Lin, they really did not stay for long unless it was the weekends. They visited from time to time either alone or together to order some takeaway if it is on the weekdays while they ate at the cafe if it was on the weekends.

'Hmm...They seem to be busy nowadays...the cafe seems kind of quiet without them..... hmmm. ...Huh.... it seems that i miss them already, those rowdy kids.' thought old Feng as he starts to remember about the past few weeks.

"Granpa Feng~ MiRae is curious, tell MiRae how do you know how to make so many types of dishes?" asked MiRae.

"Well, I have traveled to many places when i was younger. I learned from the many people around the world along the way. I settled down here when i got older after that and made this cafe to pass the time." answered Old Feng as he brought another plate of food to them.

"Wasn't the time back then rather dangerous?" asked Ai Lin, who knew a bit more about the times back then due to his family background. Decades ago, mutated beasts as well as some minor chaos apparitions still roamed the world, more often around the less developed areas. Hence, many people suffered during that time.

"Hello, we'll be in your care" said Kuro quietly.

"Oh, welcome, it's the weekends already? Time sure flies, take a seat then. The usual then?" greeted old Feng as he watched the group of students as they come into the cafe.

"Yup, and add in some mutton curry and chicken curry for MiRae too, thank you so much~" said MiRae cheerfully.

"Alright, alright, calm down and take a seat while we wait MiRae" said JiHan as he sat down.

"Okie~ come Ailey, tell MiRae, is everything prepared?" asked MiRae while trying to be serious but failing due to her trying to hug Ai Li but was stopped by JiHan who held onto her neck like how one would hold a cat.

While looking at the situation that he has become used to, " Everything is prepared, we have managed to finish all the paperwork and have already registered." answered Kuro.

"That means...." said JiHan hesitantly.

"Yes... it means exactly what you think." comfirmed Ai Lin.

"Yahoo!!!! MiRae can now be together with Ailey~~~" cheered MiRae as she jumped around with her arms up in the air, cheering with the banzai pose.

"Though that sounds a bit weird but ~ Yes!! we are now part of a studio and a club now MiRae~~ Now we can be even closer ~ Yay yay~~" cheered Ai Li alongside MiRae.

Upon hearing Ai Li's cheer,

".........Does that include the house as well?" asked JiHan hesitantly.

".......Yes..... it does....we will be living in your care once more JiHan." answered Kuro.

"Why? Who planned this? I thought the part about living together was a joke?!!" despaired JiHan, who will most probably be delegated the tasked of doing the house chores, cooking, cleaning, and the many other jobs alongside Kuro.

Kuro and JiHan, who are part of the student committee, will most probably be given the responsibility of taking care of the place by the others as the others could barely cook or take care of the place.

"MiRae desuu~~~ Lin Lin helped as well~~"

"Hahahaha, i'll be counting on you two again" said MiRae and the twins.

""....... Hais..."" Kuro and JiHan sighed helplessly together.

A while later.....

"Food is here kiddos, eat up." said Old Feng after serving up the dishes ordered.

"........ what happened to those two?" asked Old Feng, seeing that there are two 'corpse' lying on the table who seemed like have their soul have left their body.

"....Pain"

"........Suffering"

".....Misery"

".....Sadness" replied Kuro and JiHan together as they slowly regained their will to live as the smell of good food brought them back to the land of the living.

"I see....., well, eat some more then, some good food will cheer you guys up" said Old Feng after hearing the situation from Ai Lin.

"How did you guys meet each other anyway? From the way i see it, some of you guys are from different places around the district." asked Old Feng curiously after observing this group of friends for quite a while.

"MiRae met Ailey, Lin Lin, and Kuroro through the last game desuu~~" answered MiRae happily.

"Game?" asked Old Feng.

"Yup, the virtual game. We played together and decided to meet up by communicating through the communicator. More exactly, through the virtual world, until we got closer. Then, when we realized that, we met up in reality." explained Kuro.

"Oh ya! Why don't you join us old Feng? For the new game that's coming out this season, Destiny : Myriad Worlds. " asked Ai Lin.

"Ya ya ya~ good going Lin Lin. Why don't you join us grandpa Feng?" replied MiRae enthusiastically.

"Hmmmm...., I've heard about the virtual games but.... is it ok? I have never tried it before, you know?" answered old Feng.

"We can play around together from time to time you know. Besides, you can experience new things too." said Ai Lin.

"Well ok, I will try it later. But what is this about a club and studio?" asked old Feng as he thought about it.

"Well, we are planning to be a part time professional gamers, hence the studio. The club is because we want to aim high and join the international competition. Fight against the pros. Just thinking about it fires me up. Ha!" said Ai Lin.

"The game, Destiny, for short, starts tomorrow, players can play while they sleep due to the virtual world technology, hence the game officially starts at midnight today. Weekends are break time to prevent players from having problems differentiating virtual with reality. " explained Kuro.

"Come~ let's add our contacts grandpa Feng~ so that when we decide our characters, we can help you if you got any questions~" said MiRae.

"Thanks little MiRae." said old Feng kindly as he exchanged contacts with the group.

"By the way, you can also earn money from the game too." said JiHan.

"Thanks kid, but the cafe is just my hobby so income doesn't matter much to me, i will just treat it as a new hobby then." said old Feng.

The food has finished sometime during the conversation. Upon realizing this, the group, following MiRae, paid for the food and said their thanks as they hurriedly rush out the cafe as it is already nighttime.

"Remember to contact us when you start the game old Feng, so that we can add each other in-game." reminded JiHan when he walked out the cafe last.

"Take care of your sister first kid, and it seems that you will be having a few more challenges coming your and kuro boy's way." chuckled old Feng as he sent them off.

"I know, i know. You don't have to remind me." sighed JiHan with a wry smile.

"Good night old Feng"

"Gooode nighte Grandpa Feng, see you later~"

"Thanks for the food" said Ai Lin, Ai Li, MiRae, JiHan, and Kuro respectively as they walked down the street.

"Good grief, those kids, what a lively bunch. Seems I have gotten a bit old. Where's my sense of adventure gone? Whatever, wait for me kids, let me see for myself this virtual games that you guys love, hahaha " laughed old Feng as he cleaned up the place before closing the cafe.

They thought of experiencing something new, even with his old body, brought him some anticipation towards the game.
