I can smell her blood.

I can still see the bullet hole in her forehead.

I can still see that smirk she gave me when I held the knife up to her neck.

I can hear the hand cannon go off and it jolted me awake.

I looked around and seen that I was still in Ceres. I sighed and lifted the hatch open and felt the cool breeze hit my face and sighed again. I didn't want to leave my chair but I need to get this done and get it out of the way so I can go back to doing what I was doing. Climbing down Ceres I noticed Petra walking along the pathway of the Reef's hangar. As soon as my foot touched the ground I'm already getting my ear talked off.

"Why is it taking you so long to get out of your ship? Why aren't you talking? Do you know the Queen waited for 4 hours for you to meet with her since you claim you needed to talk to her?!"

The more Petra talked the more I ignored her. I let Biscuit do all the talking for me. I just...I wish Cayde was here. He would at least comfort me but here I am. I walked through at least three doors before I found myself in the Vestian Outpost.

It was quiet.

Not one soul speaking. Just pure silence from vendors, Guards, and Guardians. All I could hear is my boots tapping on the steel floor with each step that I took to reach the Queen's corridor. Casually I stopped as I felt a presence behind me.

"What do you want, Uldwyn Sov?" I placed my hand in my pocket looking down. I knew it was him because his presence is cold. Every time he gets near me I shuddered. He lives in the dark with his stupid crows. Something about him seems sheltered but I don't dwell on it because simply, I don't like him.

"Oh? Formally speaking upon my name, are we? What shall the Rose do since her sister is gone?"

Biscuit snapped. "Don't speak to her in that tone. She's not one of your stupid birds. What she will do is talk to your sister and finish gathering the Wolves. She doesn't belong to you nor the Reef. Now. Leave. Her. Be."

I sighed and just continued on but he still stood there. I'm irritated, sad, fed up with this place that I'm starting to become restless. If only they would have seen Karina's mistakes and horrors this wouldn't have happened. Instead, they got caught up in the lies that it backfired. Karma for you.

"I didn't want to hear it from you. I want to hear it from the Red Rose herself. Or do I have to trigger her to get her to speak to the Prince?" Hell with the title.

I turned around so quickly that I had my knife in my hand and already thrown it into his shoulder. He acted as it appalled him. "I will not miss next time. I'm tired of your shit! Every damn time I come here you always interrogate me for no reason! Like I'm at fault here! I don't care if you are the Prince, you are stepping your boundaries more than enough. Even after I'm reborn you still despise me because I am the Queen's favorite! Stop doing shady things and maybe we wouldn't have this conversation!"

I knew my voice echoed because every breathing soul on the Vestian Outpost turned and faced me and the Prince. Actually, why is he out here? This! This is what I'm talking about! He's never with Mara Sov and what's worse, he's supposed to be her council! He's always going to the black garden and always going on these pretentious missions just to keep his name clean.

Is it worth the time and effort to talk to Mara and not be shunned away for the content that has shown?

What should I do? What the hell can I do?

Should I just open the door and leave and say forget this and don't come back? Leaving the altercation from Uldren to the Queens corridor I took a deep breath and finally let go. I threw my hood up so the shadows could at least cover my face but show my sadden gray eyes.

"Silvia..." The name lingered for almost eternity. Usually, Mara's voice is c.o.c.ky and nonchalant. However this time, it seemed so sincere so unreal that my name is echoing in my head. I spun around slowly letting the ceiling lights hit my eyes. I stared at her as I walked ever so slow. She wasn't sitting in her chair which is odd, usually, her 2 fallen is standing beside her. Uldren, well, he's somewhere doing whatever he does.

"Mara..." My voice was cold and hard as steel. Placing one foot out in front of the other while my hands were behind my back. I lifted my head just enough to stare into her glowing blue eyes that seemed disconsolate.

What will she say to me? Get over it? This is my fault? The endless thoughts are running through my head and I can't control it. The Reef is usually warm but today, it's cold. Colder than the snow.

"I should have known she would do something like this. I should have known this was her doing. Impeccable." I shrugged. I guess this is what she wanted to hear me out.

"For f.u.c.k sakes Mara! You have Uldwyn to spy on her! His devices could have helped? Where was he?" Her mouth open to be shut again because she knew I was right. So much for me not being on the council. "For someone that wanted two top Wardens, you sure don't pay attention to them and it shows." She sat down with her elbows on her knees with her hands pressed together. What can she say? "Your Wolves are running wild because of that wretch child, she wanted them to turn on you because she wanted you to unthrone. Now, who looks like a fool?" Every word that I'm saying is jabbing her like a knife because that's all she could is sit there. I can see it in her eyes that she wanted to cry but it's too late for that. I did the crying for her knowing I have to live with this forever. All she has to sit on her throne and let the Guardians do her job and now myself. I have to live forever to know that my sister's blood is now in my hands. What would happen if I killed her bother? She would feel the same way as I do now.

"Leave my brother out of this because he was with me throughout Karina's drivel and I didn't think about it okay. I make mistakes! That's life, Silvia! You can't use that against me and you know it." I stood by the first step of her throne and chuckle and shook my head.

"You're a Queen, Mara. You make it seem like you have everything in control by your merciless demeanor. Variks choose you! You're not noble to that throne, not even your brother."

"I am nobler to this throne and you know that! After all this, Variks the loyal is still my advisor and he would never turn his back on me. My father and my mother is the ruler of this life. Starlight and Darkness. As a daughter, I will be Queen rather you like it or not. Often when we guess at others' motives, we reveal only our own. You should find your motive."

I reached to my side and grabbed my sister's Her Mercy hand cannon and threw it below her feet. "I know my motive. I think you need to reconsider yours," I looked straight into her eyes with hatred. "I don't think I could ever love you the way I once loved you. The White Rose is dead because of you allowing her to be free with troubles. Now the Red Rose is lonely with a bunch of thorns around her. I hope you happy."

The Queen got up and wanted me to wait but I was already out of the corridor. However, before I left, I threw a white rose on my sister's cannon. I hope she will understand that this isn't a mistake you don't wash away.

"The House of Kings is unique among the Fallen. They are secretive, dangerous. They hide in the shadow of the Cosmodrome...waiting...plotting. If Skolas can bring the House of Kings under his banner, we're all in trouble." I sighed.

Petra came out of nowhere and stopped me in my place. She was standing there with her right hand on her hip.

There's no time to stop now.

~~~
(radio static)...damn. I'm getting a lot of interference here I couldn't understand Petra. Luckily Biscuit received the coordinates before Petra was completely cut out.
"Hi, Silvia."!
"Silvia!"
I guess my recognition is known because four or five Guardians went by and acknowledged me. Well, this is something I can get used to. Anyways now I'm back on the Cosmodrome...again. It seems the Cosmodrome is going to be a part of me so I have no choice but to accept it. Especially when the burden of my sister's death is on the other side of the wall in the Cosmodrome. Nothing I can do to change it. I can't let it ruin me. I have to keep pushing no matter what happens. Minds well do it now.
"Sil...I can't...reach...you..."
"Petra what are you saying, the static is horrible!" I looked around to see if there's anything in the sky that's interfering and so far nothing. What the hell?
So, Biscuit dropped me off deep within the Forgotten Shore while other Guardians were fighting Dregs and what seems to be a Wolf? Who is that? I stood behind a broken ship while the other Guardians were shooting rockets that weren't doing any damage to it. Biscuit knew what I wanted to know so he went ahead of me to take a closer look at the Fallen. It wasn't long until he came back and looked me in the eye with irritation.
"Drevis, Wolf Baroness. That means Skolas was here. It seems like the other Guardians are struggling to take her down. I know you're doing a mission for the Reef. But the others need your help."
I nodded as I moved from a broken ship to a rock that was close and when the time was right I jumped in the air to grab attention from her. I know who exactly this is. I faced her while I'm airborne and smirked. The Silent Fang is going down. "Hu ne ha ge." I landed on the ground and was about 100 feet away from her. I laughed and pointed at me.
"Oh. I will." I held my hand and instantly my Gjallarhorn and fired at her face. The other Guardians were looking at me like I was some savior. "Biscuit show me her weak spot. It's been so long since I have seen her face." I shouted at him over the bullets and rockets being launched at her.
In nanoseconds, Biscuit already had her status up through my helmet and I started to study her quickly:
*Although based on the same Arc technology as other Fallen weaponry, this rifle has a distinct advantage: the projectiles it fires track unerringly to the target. The exact mechanism behind this is unclear, but the rifle seems to steer the slow-moving molten projectile down an artificial field line
*Rapid Movement
*Has an Arc shield
*Spawns Fallen
*Uses Fallen melee
And finally
*Transportation.
Okay so the rifle is Arc but Arc kills Fallen. So no wonder many of the Fallen lately has been lying around. The Wolves are killing the other Fallen. What makes it wonderful, our Arc super or power kills them. Karma once again. "Biscuit change everything to Arc now! Send the instructions to the other members around. I need them to stand at each corner of the area and shoot anything Arc at her. It doesn't matter where. If they're supers' are not ready tell them to shoot at her stomach. She will call Fallen to her side so tell them to be careful. You will have to manually tell them because our communicator is down until I figure out why. Got it?!" Biscuit already rearranged my guns for me so I can switch as I please.
1. 2. 3.
Going stealth mode I began to start firing my rockets at her head. I know she's going to aim at me and that's what I wanted. Drevis was bitter and disgusted, did she think I could let her go after I know what was going on? I kept reloading my rocket launcher as much as I could and kept shooting at her. Even though I'm shooting at her with a solar weapon I'm gaining her attention so the other's can take her down and it's working. The bar that's being shown in my helmet is still in midway. I have to think quickly.
"Silvia the Fallen!" Biscuit yelled as I looked up and seen that the Kell ship has spawned. Damn it.
I moved from my spot as I looked over to someone random and motioned them to replace my spot. I traded my rocket launcher to my Suros Regime and started to take the Fallen out, one by one. Dregs, Vandals both stealth, and melee. Servitors with Captains with both Arc and Solar shields around them. I don't think I can do all this by myself but I have to manage somehow.
Breathe in and breathe out. Take it easy and take control.
Slashing, using force, switching ammo cases promptly to the point that I can count each one I had dropped. I ran out of rockets and Biscuits trying so hard to find me some bullets. "Silvia, we can't hold her! We don't have much left!" Damn it! Think Sil, Think! Stabbing a Dreg in the stomach as I turned around.
"TItans! I need you to use the Fist of Havoc! now! Warlocks use your Novabombs! As always I'm the only hunter, I will use my Arcblade."
The first titan jumped up to a building behind Drevis where I had to scan the amplifier and waited for my cue. I nodded.
He jumped with so much energy and electricity I was impressed. Titan's are always ready for war. I nodded towards the woman and with much strength that the ground began to shake. Before my eyes, the titan was already on the ground with a pool of electricity beneath her feet. Damn, she's still standing but I know that arc is messing with her.
The second titan followed up just as quickly as the first but the 3 warlocks had a plan up their sleeves. They looked at each and with synchronization that I became nervous. The other female Titan slammed the ground and the three male Warlocks unleased the Novabombs that made Drevis stumbled back into a building.
The final step was me. The energy was flowing through me like waves from an ocean. Time to shine like the moon in the sky. I jumped from the water that I somehow ended up in but I moved on to the ground within a flash before Drevis stood up completely. Does she have enough strength to transport? let's hope not. I felt my blade in my hand hearing the static I flung myself to the Baroness. Just by the touch of my currency, she yelled in pain but I was just able to reach up to her belly and lacerated it. All that Arc energy was eating her up alive. I jumped back with the other Guardians far from the Baroness in the shores water. We watched her trying to get up but just keeps stumbling trying to getaway. Is she trying to get help from someone? Anyways, within her final seconds, she looked like I put her out of her misery. Maybe she didn't want to work with Skolas? Who knows. I think that's good? RIght? She closed her eyes as the ground shake from her falling. My eyes locked on her body to make sure she was dead. However, by the meter in my helmet, she was finished.
Wolf Baroness is down for the count. The readings in my helmet turned off as I sighed. One hell of a battle. "Biscuit, can you hear me?"
"Yes! Communications are still down. The only one that's reaching out is Variks the Loyal. The coordinates were wrong but I received new ones." I sighed as I turned around and faced all the Guardians.
"Thank you all. You did well! Communications are still down around here. I will check and see why. Stay safe, these Wolves are very skilled. Thanks again." I nodded my head as I turned around and went on my way. Biscuit led me this time since my helmet isn't picking anything up.
"Variks coming in." Not even a second in he's already coming through my helmet. "Skolas jamming signals with High Servitors. Reef War Tactic... advanced warfare. May fool Petra. It does not fool me. I shall be your guide" He snarls.
"Wait. I thought you use the same communicator throughout the Reef?"
"Nooo. We separate ourselves just for this scenario." Smart. Very smart move.
I hopped on my sparrow and tapped on my helmet and groan. "Biscuit, you will have to lead the way, the helmet is still acting up. One moment I get the destination sign then it goes."
"Alright. I do move fast." I rolled my eyes as I pressed down the accelerator and followed him. To be fair, I thought Drevis was the cause of the communications to be down but she wasn't. What's going on? "Might want to hop off. I detect the Hive." Death in a bottle. "Welcome to the Grottos." I sighed as I leaped off the ride of mine and brought my Suros to my face and wiped out the Hive rapidly. I have to watch the Shrieker but overall, I'm doing well to my perspective.
"Silvia! Wait up!" Hearing my name I whipped my head behind me and was a shock to see one of my raid buddies. I smiled and placed a hand on my hip, ugh, getting that gesture from Petra. He bowed his head before hugging me. I obliged and gave him a one-arm hug.
"Why are you here, Echo? I thought you were on Mars for the Vanguard?'" I know he's going to follow me so I turned back around I went into the hole that looks like something that belongs to the Hive. I
"That's been done. I have been trying to contact you but the signal is down for some reason and I happen to run to you after watching the whole beat down on the Drevis."
I happen to laugh, "Of course you would watch. But to answer your not so question, yes the signals are down and been told that the Wolves are the cause of it."
"I would watch a pretty woman work all day." I rolled my eyes. Such a flirt.
Floating down from a ledge walking unhurriedly I walked through another open area. "Servitor is the source of interference. Kill it dead." Variks came through Biscuit as he stopped next to me. I looked over at Echo and jumped down. I went left and he went right.
"Better live this!" I shouted!
We have the Hive and Fallen. Best of both worlds I suppose. Shouldn't be much to killing these. Hopefully, our signals get up and running. I got my side somewhat cleared up but I kept getting Stealth Vandals thrown at me so it was slightly hard.
"Signal still corrupted! Wolves must have a second Servitor. Push forward..." Variks growls with annoyance, "Find the source."
"Great work teammate. However, the signals are jammed-"
"I heard him. How are you getting through him but anyone else can't get through to anyone?"
I sighed as I shot the rest of my enemies before dashing out of the cave. "I'm connected to the Reef. It's a long story."
He didn't say anything probably because my tone was a bit harsh but that's not important right now. I will tell him later, maybe. Once we get out of the cave we came out of the refinery. The same refinery that I went when I killed Sepiks Prime from the House of Devils. Wolves are trying to take over the Devils and Kings. "Sil, I take the bottom you take the top. You're going to have a good time on top." I heard his smart comment and snapped a glaring stare at him. I love Echo as a teammate, but I want to cut the wires from him. But I did take top which was easier for me because I had a better clear view of the whole refinery. If he needed help I would give him a hand but I made sure my job was done first.
"I think we're done here. Move forward." I nodded as I jumped down and switched my mags.
"Variks weren't you apart of the House of Judgement or something in that matter?"
"I was House Judgment scribe to House Wolves. Skolas was vicious, even for a Fallen Kell. I could not stomach his hate." I sighed as we killed the Hive before going up the stairs. This is the Devil's Lairs all over again. "It...is good to work with you—with Petra. All that are Fallen are not lost...yes? Signal close. Can you see it?"
I didn't want to question about Skolas. I knew Skolas. I cared for him when he was hurt. But if Skolas was around the House of Judgement that either means I got played a fool or Skolas wanted out but couldn't get out? Skolas what is the truth that you're not telling me? Echo began shooting once we step afoot on the top stairs. Smelling Ether knocked me back into reality and I began shooting along with him. "Take that Servitor out quickly. We need to get our lines up and running. No telling what's going on!" Shouting over our interaction with the Fallen, he got the memo when he charged his Novabomb towards the enemy and wiped out the floor quickly.
Nice.
"Excellent! Whatever you did, your signal's coming through loud and clear now. Variks, are you with us? The Wolves are approaching an old command center beyond the Rocketyard. That must be where the Kings are hidden."
"Yes, yes, I am here. Kings will see Wolf pack as well. They will not be pleased." His growls is unpleasant. Kings does not like intruders.
"You are here to deny Skolas House Kings. They will not know. And they would not care. They will try to kill you. Kill them back. If Kings detected House Wolves before attack, Skolas may have met his match." Kings the Devils.
Fantastic. "Biscuit retreat back into my helmet. I think we're good. Echo, you still coming?" He nodded as I ran out of the refinery. Running across we ran into another building that had a strong smell of Ether. House of Wolves is cleaning up the mess of the Devils. I pray that we aren't late. "Watch my back while I got in front. Who knows what the Wolves done to the Devils so far."
Climbing up two flights of stairs I had my auto rifle up to my eye. "Switch to-"
"Scout. I know." Ah! My favorite scout, the Mida Tool. If I could fall in love with any weapon, the Mida Tool will be my love of my life. I looked at every cranny for movements. As we moved deeper inside I said clear. There wasn't any ceiling lights but the sun was covering a good amount for us which made easier.
Growls. Nothing but growls.
They near.
"Sooo Silvia...How's Cayde?" I knew it. I knew he would say ask.
"Why? You jealous?" Clap back.
"No. Just wondering. I heard he took you out of the Hangar Social." I turned around so quick and aimed my barrel to his dome. "Okay, okay. My bad. Jeez."
"More like i- Explorer Shank!"
I spun around and we both jumped back just in time before the Shank exploded in our faces. That was a close one. Too close. We came across a room with a silver ball in the middle that was surrounded by Barons.
Paskin, King Baron
Vekis, King Baron
Yavek, Wolf Baron
Too many Barons in one room. Making a complaint to the Queen.
I turned to look at Echo and in return, he winks at me. I don't know who's worst. Echo or Rahool? Probably Echo. Anyways, I needed their attention so I shot a single bullet in the celing.
I smiled. "Hello darlings." I whipped my hand out with a Arc grenade and they scattered across the room. There was three huge windows looking out to the satellites but they were broken when someone just randomly came in with the Fist of Havoc. Echo and I looked at each other and was confused but we didn't questioned it. We needed to get this Signals going. Vanguard is irked because they cannot contact anyone. Servitor was dead within the arc of the Havoc. Echo throwing sunslinger suns around the room burning them to death. I'm Arcblading from left to right. We killing them so quickly they had fear in there eyes. Our supers were charge so we went ahead and did our thing. One thing I am proud of. I'm good choosing teammates.
"Yes! The Wolves are dead. And the Kings—well, they're still a danger to the City, but at least they don't work for Skolas and the signals are back online..." She faded out as the Titan stood before us in front of the silver ball.
"You could have invited me to the party, jerk!"
"Melissa?"
