Developing My Little World

Jay was rather impressed with Moxars abilities and capabilities. Jay wanted to reward the Goblin for his efforts in bringing in a new and better age for his people, but realized that the world had already given him a blessing. Jay wouldn't have minded so much, and would have gladly double dipped the rewards for Moxars performance, however that blessing was extremely powerful at this stage of development. Jay didn't want to make the young Goblin too overpowered, as that was counter-intuitive for a healthy reproduction base, at least in the beginning as they are now. The planet had barely held sentient life for only about 1100 years so far, with the 'awakened' only starting to appear within the last 20 or so years.

Levi, who preferred the Qi and Magic power systems more than the others, asked aloud,"Father, what was that soul art the goblin used just now? I have seen Star performing soul magic a few times, and I don't remember it looking like that!"

Jay looked at Star and asked,"You have been practicing with your soul arts?"

Star nodded vigorously and said,"I have been training hard to perfect the new system!" Then she had an embarrassed look as she added on,"Though I will admit that I do not know what soul art the goblin used just now.."

Jay once again patted her head and said softly,"Ah, don't worry about the little things so much Star, I certainly don't expect you to know everything when I don't either. Take it slow and learn, then you will find the path of perfection!"

Jay had tried not to frown as he said these words as he felt his words become law. Jay was really unsure how this ability worked. Sometimes it activated and sometimes it didn't, it was very random and strange for Jay to use. Jay had convinced himself that he simply wasn't high enough in the god hierarchy, despite Phineas repeatedly telling him that it was an innate talent and didn't have anything to do with his godly level.

Jay then cleared his throat and explained,"What Moxar used just now is the physical side of Soul Arts, where the user uses their bodies to send the soul arts energy into inanimate objects to use as external tools, defense, or weapons. Moxar used a physical soul art known as [Earth - Tearing Earth Turning Palm], wherein the earth itself is turned into a self-sealing coffin. The user controls the earth around them to shift, move and swallow enemies that are standing on top of the ground. When the enemy is completely underneath the earth, it rehardens and the enemy suffocates to death after a few seconds."

Jay had given them a simple explanation to get the basics across. There was certainly more to the move, such as how much it costs the user to use the skill. But these things were negligible to a being with such high affinity for soul arts like Star was. Moxar would probably need to cultivate for about 30 hours to recover his lost spirit energy.

Star was different in that regard, as this little move would basically cost her nothing to cast. However, feeling the information about Soul Arts was fantastic, Star rushed out of the living room into the training room.

Jay chuckled lightly at his daughter's weird behavior, she really did enjoy learning new things…

Then Jay had a thought when he turned his attention back to the world, how soon would be till he could upgrade to a level 2 god?

Jay opened the system and said,"Show current GP balance"

Jays eyes widened a bit and he asked out loud, a little confused,"What? How did I gain so much GP?"

Levi and Centi, who were still sitting with him, turned their heads to see what the problem was. Centi answered Jay,"You haven't spent those GP on anything yet right? Also, your sentients are evolving and growing at quite an extreme rate. Since you are not directly interfering and simply using the system to guide them, the godly system is still giving the achievement points for those sentients."

Levi, who couldn't see the system in front of Jay, asked,"How much GP do you have father? You spent almost all of it when you first created the world, so it should be around 4 or 500, right?"

Jay, who was now even more confused at Levi's words, shook his head and replied,"No, it's a little bit over 1,200!"

Levi and Centi both gasped at the number!

Jay then asked,"System, What do i need to become a level 2 god?"

[System: Ultima God Jay has done extensive work within the planet and system. System is now updating god level 2 requirements.]

[Level 2 Requirements: 40,000 GP, 1 race of Sentients have completed at least 10 different technology tree achievements (First Discovery is counted. Any race that discovers the tech without outside intervention will also be counted, otherwise, it will be invalidated.), and 1 beast that has attained a rare grade soul core and an intermediate grade fragment. The Ultima may not interfere with the last two processes or the score will be invalidated.]

Jay hummed with satisfaction, as with a few hundred years on the earth, the last two goals could easily be met. All that was required was a bit of time, which Jay now had infinite of, thanks to his god powers.

However, Jay didn't know how he would save up to 40,000 GP as he had barely surpassed 1,000, despite putting his all into the creation of his world so far. Forgetting the rewards as well, he asked the system to display those as well.
