Devil's Word Magic In Fairy Tail

Arthur Wulf is just your normal high school student at the age of 17... and also an otaku. (A/N: Oh my! who would have thought!?)

He has watched many different anime and read various manga but his favorite ones would definately be Fairy tail and Black clover!

Why you ask? Well, Magic of course! Who doesn't love magic? You get to control elements like fire, ice, water, wind, earth, light and even time itself!

Who wouldn't like to be able to eat fire and regain their stamina? To use keys and summon spirits to battle or change their weapons and armor every 5 seconds?!

Indeed, magic is a fantastic thing! And so is this truck that is heading towards our friend Arthur right now!~~ Ahh the majesty of science. Able to create such a fine means of transportation be it of goods or to another world.

"Ugh, what happened? Where am I?" Arthur woke up inside of a nice white room in which there was glass table with some drinks on it, a vase, a pack of ch.i.p.s for some reason, some chairs, a camera and a sofa, a black leather sofa. In which he was sitting right now!

"Oh hell yeah! I've seen enough **** to know where this is going!" Said the oblivious fool.

"But this spot I'm in… I don't know if I should stay or run! I might be the star of today's show! Better take the safe route and get out before some large muscular guy shows up with his hu-"

The door opened and a weird old muscular man with a beard reaching his ankles walked in. He was wearing a hadaka apron, had crocs on his feet and was wearing a Horse mask on his head.

"Hey you… you… WHATEVER THE HELL YOU ARE?! I don't know what you're here for but if you're planning on doing what I think you are I'm.. *grabs fork* I'm gonna poke your retarded lookin eyes out with this here fork! Ya' hear me!?"

Arthur looked at him with a weird expression and said.

"Please allow me to explain!" The 'thing' runs towards Arthur.

"I am sending you to another world my boy! And YOU get to choose which world and timeline! This is an extremely high privilege that only you among the many participants have…"

"Eh? Participants? I get the other world and choice part but… What's this about participants?"

"You see my boy… You have been chosen to participate in one of the games of the gods! This particular one has YOU! A deceased mortal from the world that a God governs be reborn into another world! There you will have to live, survive, make connections, friends and gain power! Until one day 30 years after the start you shall all be summoned together with a number of people that you've met and befriended, should they decide to risk it and help you of course! In the meantime you can all do whatever you want! Even kill other participants early on! All participants gain one spin of the Wheel of Fate as well! This shall decide what ability you gain and it is purely based on luck. So good luck with that!"

"Wha- What!? Wait you're going too fast! So you're saying I'm going to participate in a Death Game? SWEET! But I have some questions… You said I get to choose the world that all participants reincarnated in right? And you did say that everyone is from different worlds… What kind of worlds are we talking about? Are they similar to mine in anyway? Like Parallel world and such…"

"To answer your question… No! The worlds of the gods vary even more than the worlds in the works of fiction! While some resemble my world, there aren't any participants from them this time."

"Oh, so basically they wouldn't know anything about a world from a work of fiction?"

"Nope, they would be completely in the dark! Which is why you have a clear advantage already, but beware some of them have lived lives filled with combat and the supernatural like magic and monsters. So there is a clear experience gap between you… But do not worry! That's why there's a 30 year gap between your birth and the actual competition, we do want an interesting game after all!"

Our world has so many similar stories that when my champion went in completely blind he managed to do all the right things and ultimately form an unrivaled team that completely destroyed his adversaries! Also the ability to completely react and copy everything he saw might have helped too… So after the overwhelming victory he provided me it was now my turn to have the advantage of picking a suitable world for the competition. And I decided I'd have YOU! My trusty mortal do it!"
