Devil's Word Magic In Fairy Tail

After we passed through the portal we ended up in a town up north that I had gone to while looking for Ur's house.

This is the closest place to Brago that I've been at.

Now we just need to head farther up north until we reach Brago itself…

To do that the fastest way would be…

Well maybe not the fastest but definitely the most fun one

"Guys, get on! {Automobile}!" I said the word and created a car with my magic. And that car is a Lamborghini! Sweet!

"A Magical Vehicle?!" Ur was surprised that I just made a vehicle pop out of nowhere like that.

"Yes, but technically no.

It's a great means of transportation none the less so let's get on and go!" is all I said since this is a car from my old world and not one like the ones from Earthland which are powered by Magic Power!

"That's so cool!" Lyon said in amazement! Huh, I guess men love awesome cars in any world!

The four of us got on the Lamborghini and we took the roads towards the city of Brago!

It took us six hours to get there.

We also passed a few other towns and cities along the way until we got to the outskirts of Brago on top of the mountains that surround it.

There were some people that were either running past us or standing in awe while looking at the city.

The City of Brago is quite big and surrounded by mountains.

Right now in the middle of it is a massive dark-blue humanoid beast with scales, horns and spikes on its body.

So that is Deliora…

He's f.u.c.k.i.n.g HUGE!!!

"S-so that's Deliora huh…?" Ultear said with a hint of fear in her voice.

"W-w-what of him? Ur sensei can beat him up easily!" Lyon also seems scared of Deliora but his belief in Ur's strength seems to make him feel safe.

"Arthur. Can you find Gray from here?" Ur asked me.

"Sure, gimme a second. {Clairvoyance}! {Search}!" I used two spells, one for long distance observation and one for finding a thing you're looking for, in this case that thing would be Gray.

"I found him! He's in the middle of town and running towards the back of Deliora!" Are you a f.u.c.k.i.n.g dumbass Gray?!

"WHAT?! Get him up here now before he gets himself killed!" Ur yelled out, but I had already cast {Teleport} and appeared in front of Gray.

"Hey, Gray wassup buddy?" I asked him with a slightly irritated looking smile.

"Arthur?! What the hell are you doing here!? Did Lyon and Ultear send you? Is Ur here too?

Whatever it is you want it can wait, first I have to avenge my family!" He said and ran past me.

"Hold up right there champ! {Stone wall}!" a wall appeared from the ground in front of Gray and he ran right into it.

"Ouch! The hell was that for, Arthur you bastard?!" He got mad and yelled at me

"What are you planning on doing? Do you really think you can beat that huge monster with that petty little magic power of yours? Heck you can't even hurt ME with it, let alone THAT!"

"You don't understand! That thing KILLED both my parents! My Father and my Mother! Do you have any idea what that feels like?! Being powerless to stop something like that from happening and watching it unfold with your own eyes?! DO YO-"

I punched him in the face and send him flying into the wall again.

Damn that got me mad…. But…

"The Hell was that fo-"

"Gray."

"W-what?"

"I do know how you feel."

"W-what the hell would you know?!" He shouted at me

"I'm just like you. I saw my family die with my own two eyes without being able to do a thing…

No, to be honest I probably could have saved them…

I was just too scared to do anything but stand and watch as they were both killed..."

"You… Then why do you act like everything is okay all the time, you're always so cheerful and acting without a care in the world!

Do you not care about them or something?!"

You're just trying to get on my nerves aren't you Gray!?

Should I punch him again?

"What? Are you saying I should act like you then?! 'Oh no! My family was killed so I'll close myself off from other people and act all dark and stuff'!

Do you think your family would want you to seek nothing but vengeance and forsake yourself in the process?!

Sure, it's fine to try to get revenge.

But don't forget about your own happiness!

As you are now, you're only going to kill yourself if you try to get that revenge of yours!"

"I-it's not like anyone's left to care about me if I died!" he said with a shaken up expression

"… Are you stupid?" I asked him while starting at him as if I was looking at an idiot

"What? Who's left then?! My entire city was destroyed and burned to the ground! All my friends and family went with it! There isn't a single person left!"

"Holy shit you're an idiot!" I grabbed him by the collar

"What about your teacher Ur? Does she not care? And what about your fellow disciples Lyon and Ultear do they not care about you either?

Heck even I care!

We've spend over a month together under the same roof and on the same table, we've fought dozens of times too!

You think I wouldn't care if you died Gray? You're my friend now like it or not so I ain't letting you go off to die by yourself! Understand?!"

"… Yes…" I let him go and he fell on his knees.

After a moment of silence I asked him…

"You okay…?"

"I'm fine… I guess." He said while looking towards the ground… He must have a lot going on in his head right now.

I guess now I kind of know what it's like for Natsu to keep stopping this idiot from killing himself over and over with Iced Shell… Just in a different way.

"Come on, I'll take you to Ur and the others. {Gate}!" I created a gate to the top of the mountains where I left Ur, Lyon and Ultear. Then we both walked through it

"Yo! We're back." I said to them after coming out with Gray

"Took you long enough! Come on let's leave before that monster turns around and comes after us!" Ultear urged us to leave.

"No. As it stands these people are all going to die down there!

Even the ones running away don't stand much of a better chance at survival.

We have to stop Deliora here and now!" I said to everyone.

"Are you crazy?! Look at that thing! What can you do to it?" Ultear protested

"Well, I myself might not be able to do much. But together with Ur's support…" I shifted my gaze towards the Wizard Saint ranked Ice wizard in the room.

"You want us to fight that thing?" Ur asked

"Yeah, wouldn't you say he's our enemy? We can't leave our enemies unpunished after all!" I said with a grin

"What do you mean?" Gray asked.

"Oh! Well, when you put it like that… I guess he is our enemy after all!" Ur gazed at Gray for a second and realized what I'm talking about.

"W-wait, wait a second here! I don't understand at all! What are you two talking about?! You don't have a reason to fight that thing!" Gray asked us confused

"Gray… Just stand there and watch.

If that monster is your darkness then I have more than a reason to fight it."

After Ur said that I opened a {Gate} leading in front of Deliora.

"We'll be right back. You three just stand there and enjoy the show!" I said and me and Ur both jumped into the portal!

"Ur, Arthur! Wait! You don't have to do thi-" Gray yelled for us to stop but I already closed the portal and could no longer hear him.

"So, Arthur. Since you were so insistent we take him down I assume you have some sort of plan? Care about letting me in on it?" Ur asked me.

"Well… I've got one good idea that might work but I need him to shoot at me with that laser attack of his. Whether or not it works will depend on how sturdy his back is!"

"… I think I know what you're trying to do and it's way too dangerous! What if it doesn't work?!" She argued

"It will work! I know how my spell works so don't worry about it."

"Well, if you say so… Anyway the big guy is looking at us so it's about time we took action don't you think?"

"Yeah, let's do this Ur! {Barrier Layer}! {Steel Skin}! {Wings}! {Strength UP}! {Speed UP}! {Endurance UP}! {Defense UP}!" I then flew up in the air and casted {Acceleration}!

This shot me up to Mach speeds!

"Hey Deliora! Have a good taste of this! {Acid Blizzard}!" I created a blizzard like storm around Deliora that was made of highly corrosive acid.

"ROOOOOAAARRRR!!!" Deliora screamed at me, but it didn't seem like it was a scream of pain. Just one of anger.

The demon tried to hit me with his hands but I managed to dodge each hit by flying all around his huge body.

He was mostly blinded by the Acid storm covering him.

"{Ice Make: Rose Garden}!" Ur used her Rose Garden and hit Deliora with a straight giant wave of ice roses.

It even knocked him back quite a bit and encased him completely in the ice.

I flew up to Deliora's only remaining spot that wasn't covered by the ice.

After that I cast both {Cruel Sun}! and {Spiral Flame} with the spiraling ball of fire on my hand like a red flaming 'Rasengan' and the Cruel Sun on top of it.

I then unleashed the wave of spiraling fire and it pushed the Cruel Sun right into Deliora's face causing a huge flaming explosion!

Of course I teleported away from the blast radius!

"That's gotta hurt quite a bit!"

"Don't let your guard down! It's not nearly over yet with just that!" Ur reminded me to be careful.

"Don't worry! I know he's sturdier than that!"

Deliora then appeared out of the smoke and broke free from Ur's Rose Garden.

Not as much as a scratch on him! He's a bloody tank ain't he?!

"ROOOOAAAARRRRRR" He screamed yet again and jumped towards me and Ur

His hands slammed the ground where we were standing and broke it in half like a coffee table!

Thankfully I managed to fly away and Ur escaped with her Ice make magic.

"He's a lot stronger than I thought!" Ur said

"Don't worry! We got this!" I tried reassuring Ur and flew right above Deliora

"{Earth Spear}! {Iceberg}!" I made the earth beneath Deliora rise up in the form of a giant spear like pillar that hit Deliora in the stomach area and rising him up slightly.

Then I created a giant Iceberg and shot it downwards towards his back!

"{Ice Make: Rose Spirals}!" Ur created four giant rose spirals like the one she originally used against me!

Difference was that they were Deliora sized for the occasion!

As the Iceberg hit Deliora in the back two of the Rose Spirals curled up his arms binding them and the other two hit him straight in the face with thorns and all!

"Okay, here goes nothing! {ALMIGHTY PUSH}!" I created an extremely strong pushing force and send it towards Deliora pushing him into the ground together with the Earth Spear and Iceberg!

The ground sunk in and Earth Spear broke under the force! Deliora got smashed into the ground together with the iceberg that also crashed into him a second time!

However this time it broke into pieces on impact.

"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR" Now I feel some pain coming from you big guy!

"{Ice make: Rose Mountain}!" Ur then created a giant ice rose from under Deliora and launched him high into the air above me and the city!

"Come on! Try me you monster!" I yelled at Deliora as loudly as I could!

Deliora's started gathering energy into his mouth and created a lime colored ball of magic power.

He then shot it towards me in a straight line!

"Heh… This is exactly what I wanted! {GATE}!" Using the last remaining magic power I have and created the biggest gate I've ever made!

It was over 20 meters in diameter!

Deliora's Energy Beam attack went straight towards the portal and went through it!

The exit was…

In the air just above Deliora!

The beam hit him in the back and shot him back to the ground with tremendous speed creating an enormous gargantuan explosion that swept the city buildings and destroyed everything in its way!

Right before it hit Ur grabbed me and shot herself away with an ice pillar, she also made over a dozen giant Ice Shields and walls along the way to protect us from the blast!

Then, there was silence…

The civilians up in the mountains and the surviving ones in the city itself couldn't utter a sound and just stared in awe of this spectacle of power!

In the end when the smoke cleared there was a giant crater as big as a third of the city and Deliora was inside of it. All battered up and wounded.

All my magic defenses, enhancements and even my wings disappeared.

"Wow…" Even Ur was amazed.

"So, what did you think of my brilliant plan?" I asked her.

"Not bad for a runt like you. Good job Arthy!" She said… Wait who are you calling Arthy?!

"Can you stand, Arthur?" Ur asked me seeing that I was completely spent after the last combo attack.

"Yeah, I'm fine… Deliora was huge and had incredible defenses, I had to use a lot of magic power in all of my attacks to make them huge and be able to do damage to him…

Not that it did much damage of course! But at least I could push him around with them…"

"Well, I think you did quite a bit of damage here and there…" She said while looking around

"Yeah, I guess you might be right… Hahaha… Damn." This CAN be fixed right?

"Come on I'll carry you back to the others." Ur said and gave me a piggy back ride.

As we were walking away from the crater we suddenly heard a noise and saw a huge shadow looming over us.

Ur turned around and we both saw that Deliora had gotten up and was staring at us…

"W-what!?" I yelled in surprise! That thing can actually still move after all of that?!

"… Let's go!" Ur started running in the opposite direction with me on her back.

"ROOOOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRR" An Angry roar sounded from behind us but Ur kept running.

It would be hard for her to fight Deliora and protect the now weak and powerless me at the same time, so she has no other option but to escape for now until I'm safe…

A lime colored light started shining from behind us and it was quite obvious what it was…

I looked behind and saw it…

It was Deliora's Energy beam!

However this one was a lot bigger than the other ones! To put it simply it was twice the size of Deliora's head! I don't believe he used this attack in the original story either did he?! CRAP!

"Ur! He's gonna shoot a really big one now! I can't block another one not to mention this thing!" I started panicking! Without my {Gate} that thing is unblockable even for Ur herself!

"Hang on! I'll stop it!" She let me go on the ground and entered an all too familiar pose…

She crossed her arms in an 'X' shape with her right arm above her left arm and the right palm facing down while the left palm faced up…

"Wait… Ur… That's!"

"Oh, so you know about this spell?" She said and a big ice blue magic circle appeared under her feet.

"Iced Shell… A spell that encases the target in a block of unmeltable ice for all of eternity! But that ice is the user's physical body! Ur you can't do that!"

I protested, after all the reason I'm here is to prevent this very event from happening!

"You're quite knowledgeable Arthur… But I've got to do this.

Otherwise that thing will not only kill the two of us, but also Gray, Lyon and my dear Ultear… Not to mention all of the citizens of Brago!"

"There has to be another way! Wait! UR!!!"

Deliora's giant energy beam was about to shoot towards us.

Ur then started initializing her spell.

"{ABSOLUTE FREEZE! ICED SHEL-"

"Oh no you don't." A man suddenly appeared and chopped Ur's neck knocking her out.

Before I could even react, Deliora's beam shot towards us!

It had a radius of over fifty meters and could probably decimate the entire city should it land.

However that man did not waver in the slightest…

"{Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Unstoppable Crush}!" This man punched the energy beam with his b.a.r.e hand and stopped it dead in its tracks!

Deliora's attack turned into small tiny cubes and then disappeared entirely!

"Gi-Gil--" I stuttered because of how surprised I was!

This man was actually…

"Yo! How you doing Arthur? I came back to the guild about two weeks ago and Master said you had gone missing…

The hell you doing here fighting a Demon of the books of Zeref?"

It's Gildarts!

"Haha…Hahaha! Man you have no idea how good it is to see you right now!"

"Don't get all mushy with me now! You've broken a guild law you know? This is an 'SS' Rank request you've taken on here! When we get back home Master will be punishing you severely!"

"That's fine… I'm ready to accept any kind of punishment… Thanks for stopping Ur from casting Iced Shell..."

"Ah, don't mention it. Just don't forget what you said here okay? Any. Kind. Of. Punishment."

"Y-y-yeah! I'm a man of my word, okay?!" This punishment was horrifying according to Natsu wasn't it? Fu*k…

"Great! Now then… I gotta deal with you, huh big guy?

You know… For once this might actually be fun!"

Gildarts turned around and stared at Deliora with confidence and a hint of anger in his eyes...

As I watched Gildarts walk towards Deliora I began to lose my consciousness.

Having lost all my magic power and feeling safe after Gildarts showed up must have made my body start shutting down and beginning to rest automatically…

I the last thing I heard before I blacked out was.

"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR!!!!"

Deliora's angry roar and…

"Bring it on you monster! I'll make you PAY for hurting my friend Arthur!!"
