Displaced

Danny sat staring at the white surface while sobbing. His body hadn't stopped shivering from the pain and fear.

He had forgotten in his happiness that Naruto was cruel monster when failure was concerned. Danny couldn't even muster any thought about hating the man as just mere thought made his heart panic.

'I can't fail again. I can't fail again. I will go crazy if i take this pain again.' Danny thought while he tried to stop his teeth from chattering

His condition was miserable but that didn't matter to him now as he had a task to finish and he couldn't afford another failure.

The fear and pain had put him into frenzy to achieve success in the missions to avoid the bad end. No other thought occupied his mind.

The pain had been so overpowering that Danny felt that people could make him believe that he had actually died now because it was that bad.

After what seemed like an eternity, Danny managed to get up and the world changed.

He was once again inside Naruto's body and seeing his world.

He was walking the streets of Konoha and seemed to be a lot younger. Danny could feel the weakness, hunger and fear in the small body.

The emotion was terrible and Danny felt like he could get snuffed out any moment. Naruto after long time of getting scared from the a.d.u.l.ts that looked at him with undisguised hatred or fear he checked the dumpsters for food.

Danny had never imagined his cruel master to have such a beginning and it opened his eyes ever so slightly to the world as he saw the cruelty.

The people completely disregarding a child's well being that he ended up eating from the trash.

But just as everything was looking so dark, Danny saw hope shine over Naruto. It was a plump man with a kind face and he took the little Naruto to a stall, and gave him Ramen.

Danny felt happiness from the scene as the little Naruto ate like a wild beast that had been hungry for days and cried as he ate.

Danny felt ashamed for his easy life seeing this scene. The emotions felt were powerful and even tears poured from his eyes.

The scene changed once again and this time it was Naruto's graduation day but he had failed again. He sat by the swing as he heard the sound of joy from his pears and the whispers.

"It's good that monster didn't pass."

"Yeah, i can never understand why Hokage-sama allows this sc.u.m to interact with our children."

Danny could feel the pain inside Naruto's heart from those words and his dream crashing down; his heart felt like it will pop from the despair.

Just as it seems like Naruto would walk away and beat the pain out of his heart, a light shined on him.

No, it was a suspicious person giving candy to a child to attract their attention but Naruto didn't realize it and was duped to follow along with the crazy plan.

Danny understood that when everything was going wrong any hope was fine and people wouldn't give it much thought.

Looking at things from behind gave him a better perspective of things so he saw things that Naruto hadn't noticed.

Following through the story, Danny saw Naruto fight for his life and the life of Iruka while having more respect for Iruka.

'Getting hatred for a monster inside of you, how ridiculous. I could never have handled it, how did master stay good?

These people would have died if he died or gave into the monster. If Master didn't exist then they would have already died. People can be so blind.' Danny felt anger at this unfair situation as he his heart connected to the deepest part of the young Naruto

Naruto had only showed the positive side of himself to others but deep down he despised everyone and hated everyone. He fought against such thoughts every day as it went against his ideal taught by the Third Hokage.

"That's why we endure. We are ninja. I will never forget."

"Listen to yourself whining and complaining like some sorry little victim. You can whimper all day long for all I care, you're nothing but a coward."

"Failing doesn't give you a reason to give up, as long as you believe."

"While you're alive, you need a reason for your existence. Being unable to find one is the same as being dead."

Danny heard the words in different tones hammer onto him and ring inside his mind forcing him to think before he finally heard the current Naruto's voice.

"Words are not enough to teach, only time will tell where you end up. I want you to understand that i don't hate you and i am not infallible. I can make mistakes and i am hasty at the moment because your future is just that dark.

You have to understand that there are things worse than death and this will happen to you if you do not end up where i want you. Your family will die, everyone you know will die and you will live for a time in total despair before dying like nothing.

I see hope of a bright future in you. You have the potential or i wouldn't have chosen you. There was no mistake, it is fate."

Danny was quiet as he listened and the fear of the voice was still there but it had receded somewhat and he didn't feel any hatred towards him after experiencing these memories.

He could feel that his mind and heart had become stronger from these experiences. It was starting to affect the outlook he had on life.

Before this he never even thought about his dream or goal. Never noticed things around him and just went with the flow lazily.

"I hate you"

"Heh, hate me as much you want but remember to care for your world and your own life."

"I will make you suffer for all the pain i will endure."

"I will wait for that day with great anticipation."

"You piss me off so much you demon."

"I derive p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e from your suffering."

"You sicko!"

"Danny, it's time for some heroism."

With those words, Danny was back in his body and understood the situation. His classmate Star, a friend of Pauline was with a man at this time.

'I don't think she would fall so low to go for prostitution. Can she be interest in older men? No, he said time for heroism.' Danny focused on those words and followed behind them

From his gaze he could see that Star was talking to the handsome man naturally with great style making him suspicious that he was right about her.

'What a s.l.u.t!'

Following them for some time, Danny saw them stop at a house and enter.

Danny saw the lights on and a party environment, there was loud music and people dancing even out of the house.

This scene confused him since it just looked like a normal party so Star wasn't about to get r.a.p.ed or anything.

'What am i actually doing here?'

'You are going to see the world that your parent's belong to.'

Those words sounded ominous but gave the clue he needed, 'Ghosts!'

'Correct, now choose your skills before this situation starts.'

Danny felt fear enter his heart but quickly disappeared as he was already handling a demon and endured pain of death. There was nothing an unknown ghost could do to him.

With a calm mind, Danny went through the list.

He had wanted to look cool before but now his mind was once again thinking of survival.

'Give me the Movement Skill' Danny asked and felt the knowledge enter his mind, he felt his body feel so different now

He had realized that it was the movement style of Naruto that made the battles look so easy, it wasn't just the martial skill.

Knowing how to move meant controlling the body completely and predicting the movement of the opponent.

Danny felt his leg lighter and his steps smooth. Looking at one of the man moving around, Danny could predict his next movement easily.

'Good choice and as gift i will award you with the riding skill. Now welcome to the real world.'

Danny felt his eyes open to a new world as he saw a horrifying sight. The house was covered in green strings that came from inside the house and connected to the people.

The situation looked terrible and he held his head trying to think of a way to solve it.

'I will show you the way this one time. Let me remind you, think out of the box. Everything is a weapon. If you can't beat something then you haven't used enough violence and destruction.

Now take out the girl as she just went inside and start a fire, make sure it spreads.'

'I am going to jail if i get caught.'

'They are all going to die if you don't act soon.'

Danny felt the pressure of these people's life on his shoulder. He wouldn't care much if he was back home but now he was standing just outside.

His decision led to two different outcomes for these people.

Danny gritted his teeth and decided to rush inside as he had no choice since Naruto would probably almost murder him this time.

Passing through the party goers like a phantom, Danny found Star drinking with the men at one side as the smoked some some with wild abandon.

He quickly located the kitchen and entered it, taking some alcohol and a fire starter Danny went upstairs.

He ignored the m.o.a.ns and sounds of p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e as he quickly took the love birds out of the room with violence.

In their weakened and drugged state they were like new born children so there was no difficulty. Danny felt the urgency as his body was getting colder and the strings were trying to connect to him.

He had seen the ghost floating at the centre of the house. It was a tall humanoid ghost with a blank mask and it was leading the party as the DJ.

Not wasting time, Danny started a fire in the room and ran downstairs towards Star who was getting into close encounter with the men's hands and mouth.

She looked to be in a daze and the connection was getting stronger.

"Star, we need to be going." Danny muttered as he pulled her towards him forcefully causing the men to glare at him while Star was like a drunk as she hugged him and started kissing his face

"Not the place and time for this." Danny quickly dragged her but it seems the ghost had noticed him and the people were trying to stop him so he chose the window and jumped through it with Star behind his back

He had made it accurately so that none of the glass cut Star and him in anywhere important.

Dragging Star, Danny quickly took out his phone and dialled 911.

"Help there is a fire!" Danny screamed in a panicking tone while saying the address before cancelling it

He didn't stop and the affect on Star had lessened as she held on to him but the Ghost screamed in rage that could be heard from afar and the people went crazy as many of them rushed towards him with glowing eyes.

It was a trail in itself and death could be an outcome.

He could run faster without Star but the result might be her death.

Danny felt those thoughts pass through his mind but ignored them, there was no way he could kill someone and Naruto would kill him.

It was a shameful thought but Danny was just a normal person.
