"Did you bring my chicken wings, perhaps? I prefer it fried."

Davis smiled as he asked, causing Rai Zenflame's smiling expression to fade before he chuckled.

"Are you sure you want to adopt that kind of attitude toward me?"

He shook the Burning Daylight Spring Source within the vase, causing Davis's smile to become even more prevalent.

"You think you can make me beg or something?"

"Of course not... but I may be willing to trade this for ten times the price. Don't tell me you can't afford it because it's etched there in the rankings that you have more than two hundred million contribution points while I'm merely asking for ten million contribution points- oh, twenty million since the points would be halved when exchanged between individuals."

Rai Zenflame kept a wide smile on his face as his lips moved, a trace of a snickering tone echoing out with unknown intent.

Davis couldn't help but look away and silently laugh.

Since the other party had procured this resource beforehand, he wanted him to buy it off of him for a high price?

In fact, Davis was willing to buy this resource even if it was a hundred million contribution points, for he was sure that he could increase its efficacy rate. However, with Rai Zenflame possessing it, he wasn't even willing to spend a dime but willing to kill and plunder.

At this moment, he wished sect rules didn't exist, but he wasn't foolish enough to commit murder and get arrested either, causing him to stay still and not make a move.

But abruptly, Shirley moved forward, gazing at Rai Zenflame with narrowed eyes.

"An Immortal King like you have no use for this treasure. Doesn't this show that you just want to harass us?"

"No way." Rai Zenflame's expression quickly became solemn as he lowered his stature, bending a bit in front of Shirley.

"Inheritor, our Fire Phoenix Clan has already told me to no longer make trouble for you. I was just acting before as your... husband... seems to be holding a grudge against me, but I'm truly here to show that I'm not your enemy. As a form of my sincerity and to show that the Fire Phoenix Clan wants to truly reconcile with you, I present our inheritor this gift, the Burning Daylight Spring Source."

Rai Zenflame handed over the vase to Shirley as he stretched out his hands, remaining in a respectful posture.

Shirley's eyes flickered, wondering what this person's motive was at this moment. She had seen her fair share of foolery and quackery back in her own sect where two-faced people were plenty, so she wasn't quickly the one to accept any goodwill anymore.

She didn't move her hands to take the Burning Daylight Spring Source and instead turned to look at Davis.

Unexpectedly, Davis gestured for her to take it, causing her to blink before she nodded at him. She then took the Burning Daylight Spring Source from Rai Zenflame's hands.

Feeling the intense fire energy surging within, Shirley felt her blood boil. It was reacting favorably to the spring source inside.

"Inheritor, if you are able to enter King-Tier, it would be our blessing."

Rai Zenflame stood up and smiled lightly, "Even if you do not, as long as you make visit our Fire Phoenix Clan, we can make all the arrangements for you to enter King-Tier. But if you become an Immortal King before that, it would be very difficult... but, of course, don't misunderstand my words, as we're no longer trying to bring inheritor back."

He shook his hands, looking like a junior, "You're free to go and come as you please, as our fate lies on your shoulders."

"I see. You can leave."

"As you wish, inheritor."

Shirley perfunctorily spoke, causing Rai Zenflame to cup his hands respectfully before glancing at Davis and leaving.

It seemed as though he really just came to give a gift, but none of them had any goodwill form for him, especially Mingzhi. Her black eyes were coldly watching him the entire time, appearing as though she would tear him apart if given a chance.

"Careful, Shirley. It might be poisoned..."

Mingzhi turned to look at Shirley, causing the latter to nod as she turned to look at a white-robed woman.

"Ellia, if you will..."

"Sure. I'll confirm it thoroughly and bring it back to you."

Ellia grabbed the vase and kept it in her spatial ring. With her knowledge, she would be able to easily find any kind of poison that is laced into a resource, even if it was odorless, seamless, and traceless.

On the other side, Davis still watched Rai Zenflame leave his vision before he finally turned to look at them.

"Shirley, did Mistress Zahara contact you?"

"No, not yet."

Shirley gently shook her head, causing Davis to frown.

He had a bad feeling about Rai Zenflame's gaze at the end.

It was as though he was sneering and mocking him to the fullest, as though he had him by the grasp, but Davis couldn't tell what was wrong. If anything, he could only think of Mistress Zahara. Perhaps, they had managed to find her that she was the inheritance master or mistaken her as the inheritor somehow, perhaps by finding out what the Ice Phoenix Mistress-

"Oh my, you're here, Miss Tanya Davis."

Just as Davis was thinking about a busty white-robed woman, that figure flew from the side and appeared before them, causing a few of them to stare at her regal and elegant self in astonishment.

The Ice Phoenix Clan's Mistress was breathtaking as she wore a cloud coat on top of her robe.

Tanya's smile became wry, "Senior disciple Cyclonis, don't you think this is too much? You've just joined the Aurora Cloud Gate, so where would you get the contribution points to be shopping here?"

"Where you say? I mean, I joined the Everlasting Phoenix Alliance and collected a lot of contribution points from my little ice phoenixes. Is there anything wrong?"

"No... nothing." Tanya shook her head and turned her head to the catalog in her grasp, continuing to browse the treasures she was interested in.

But for Cyclonis Blizzara, she panned her gaze in an unbridled manner and eyed every single one of his women as though memorizing their appearances and aura. Her gaze particularly stayed on the ones who cultivated ice-attribute, remaining on Natalya and Tanya the most as she looked at them like a hawk, causing them to become rather uncomfortable.

However, she wasn't able to notice Evelynn and Isabella's Emperor-Tier aura. In fact, no one here was able to except for the Gatekeepers.

As for why none here were able to garner Emperor-Tier aura from Evelynn and Isabella, that was because Ellia disguised their auras. She had prepared them with a few body-layered soul formations before they left, so there was no one stunned sensing their aura other than the fact that they were stunned by their beauty.

"That's about enough, senior sister."

Davis lightly smiled, causing the Ice Phoenix Mistress to turn to look at him.

"Say, where have you hidden my Ice Phoenix Clan's fourth inheritor?"

Davis's smile became wry.

What's with these people appearing one after another?

He shook his head and shrugged, "Why don't you just say that I keep all the female candidates with me instead?"

Cyclonis Blizzara couldn't help but smile behind her veil as she raised her exquisite brows.

"I've never said the fourth inheritor was a female..."

Davis's lips curled, "But you were indeed looking at my wives, though."

"Fair enough."

Cyclonis Blizzara cast the same stare at him. Her languid, alluring eyes were difficult to be matching gazes with but Davis did just that; his eyes even flickering and his smile turning lustful.

"That won't work on me."

Cyclonis Blizzara giggled, but Davis shrugged again.

"Then I'll keep taking advantage."

His gaze roamed all over her body as he scanned Cyclonis Blizzara, and his pupils locked onto her busty peaks, causing the latter to finally frown.

Cyclonis Blizzara raised her hand and simply formed an icy veil that covered her body.

"Don't mind me. You people keep doing what you're doing."

"..."

Davis was inwardly flabbergasted by this woman's patience. As expected of the head of a clan. She truly knew how to endure that it made him think it was no wonder she would dare abandon her duties as the Matriarch to enroll here as a disciple.

It could be said that he was impressed that he turned to look away, continuing to browse through the treasures.

However, the more time passed, the more it became awkward for each one of them because she was still behind them, standing like a maid, except her gaze was simply ice-cold, wanting to see through their secrets.

But what could they do?

She didn't do anything wrong for them to yell murder or beat her up- no, she was the Matriarch of the Ice Phoenix Clan, so it was unlikely for them to overpower her.

"This, this... and this... husband~ Can I have these treasures?"

At this moment, Evelynn came over to him with her catalog in hand, causing Davis to forget about Cyclonis Blizzara and smile at his beautiful wife, who requested in an imploring voice, causing him to wonder when it was the last time she ever asked for something like that.
