Looking at Myria silently shed tears, Shirley couldn't take it. She bit her lips and embraced Myria as she wrapped her arms around her neck.

"Rest assured. We will never forsake you or blame you for what would come to happen because you're one of us."

"Indeed." Evelynn nodded at the back, "Even in terms of cultivation, Davis needs you, and you need him. It could be said that you're made for each other, which makes me slightly jealous…"

She wryly smiled, causing Myria to finally shiver as she came out of her reverie.

Instantly, she realized she was crying, but she was no longer embarrassed; instead, she embraced Shirley as she cried in her arms.

Her sobbing and sniffling noises made everyone smile as they knew she had finally opened up to them.

Davis looked at them with a gentle and heartened expression.

His harem's ability to stay unified and embrace newcomers was incredible. However, it was also poisonous and excluded outsiders like a spider protecting its nest. He had no doubt if they didn't approve of someone, they would go all out to attack them.

And he wouldn't have it any other way, as their unity was his foundation for a peaceful life.

The way they wrapped around Myria with comforting words and made her accept them was truly fascinating to him. If he made Myria vulnerable by making her fall in love with him, then it could be said that they strengthened that bond and made her retrieve her original nature that even the Celestial Transcendent was fond of that he couldn't help but turn a blind eye to her anarchic nature.

Soon, Myria gradually stopped pouring her heart out, but the embarrassment returned, unable to believe that she, a woman who had lived for thousands of years, just cried in the arms of a few women who hadn't even crossed a hundred years of age.

"Don't worry, mother. If you're going to live with us, you need to start learning to be slightly shameless~"

Ellia giggled, causing Myria to step back and lower her head.

"I won't say thank you because from now on, I'm one of you."

"Perfect." Shirley smirked as she held Myria's hands, "With you here, we can bully husband all we want."

Myria's gaze shook.

Husband? Did her words translate to unofficially accepting him as her husband? Her lips couldn't help but uncontrollably twitch into one of fondness.

"Aha~ He has no way of disobeying the Harem Council."

Mingzhi giggled as she shot an amusing look at him, but then her expression changed as she saw him sneak out.

"Ah! He's escaping. Get him!"

*Whoosh!~*

Davis escaped from his master bedroom before anyone else could spot him.

He knew it was better to escape than have the Harem Council impose some overbearing rules on him using their fearsome momentum.

'Their unification is great… but also scary!'

Turning to look back, he saw that no one followed him.

'That's good… they likely want to speak with Myria to get to know her better…'

Davis's lips curled as they hovered in the hallways. He also wanted to talk with Myria about a lot of things, but he guessed she needed to fulfill one thing before finally sharing a bed with him.

'That's why she looked a bit hurried to search for the final treasure that would allow her to create her Eternal Life Body…'

Davis knew as long as he could get that resource for her, it would finally clear most of her misgivings.

Even in Tia's story, that man, although having lost his supreme treasure, still shared a life with the last woman he loved, which meant that they were able to successfully enact the divine union of intimacy without repercussions.

This was what gave him confidence, but as for his women, they were blindly confident that he wouldn't lose to Myria's soul physique, making him smile.

As he thought of how to obtain that treasure, he walked out of the mansion and felt that it was a good day despite all the things that had happened, even though he had his own misgivings about it.

Outside, he saw his children play in the garden, and standing over watching them was none other than Esvele. There were two more figures around her. One was Katherine, and the other was Xiaolan, Myria's Ice Phoenix.

Esvele seemed to be working in the garden, harvesting homegrown fruits that his ladies liked to make into a juice and drink or use as sub-ingredients for a pill.

She was standing behind the bushes, making it so that only her shape of curves was visible. Her hips stretched back as she reached out her hand to harvest, further causing her voluptuous bosoms to threaten to spill out of her crimson robe, almost causing Davis's throat to go dry.

The others seemed to be watching the children with fondness, but when he appeared, they noticed him, causing them to nod at him while Xiaolan harrumphed and looked away.

'This little Ice Phoenix got a temperament alright…'

Davis could see that this Ice Phoenix had never forgiven him for harming Myria back then or separating Ellia from Myria. As far as he could see, Xiaolan probably thought she would always be together with Myria and Ellia, but now, she rarely found time with them.

He flew towards them, playing with his children for a while before they went somewhere else along with Katherine and Xiaolan, leaving him and Esvele in the garden.

He couldn't help but smile as he saw Katherine enjoy her time here.

Back then, she was sold to slave traders by her own mother, but it wasn't until she speculatively thought that it could've been because she could meet with a good master since it was the same for her mother.

All things considered, if Katherine didn't have a childhood, then he wanted her to experience it now, and what else was better than playing with his own feisty children who seemed to have endless energy?

"I heard you are called the head maid now by almost everyone. Do you want to oversee the management of my family or just Shirley's?"

Davis turned to look at Esvele, causing her to return a serene look.

He blinked as he couldn't sense a hint of fluster in her eyes as he would always find previously.

Esvele's sweet lips moved, "Initially, it was just for senior sister Shirley, but as time went by… I felt that it wouldn't be any strange if I officially wished to serve your household. Perhaps that kind of thinking changed me, allowing me to realize that it is my life's greatest honor to serve a calamitous household like yours where it is weirdly genuine and also beneficial for my cultivation."

"…" Davis blinked, "What happened to you while I was away?"

"Nothing." Esvele appeared amused even while standing straight in respect to his presence, "I'm just that character you would read in a story who joins a household as a head maid and later dies somewhere of some unknown cause, perhaps even from protecting the household when everything is up in flames…"

"That little spirit you brought finally made me think I was going to die…"

She wryly smiled, causing Davis to awkwardly look away.

Everything Calypsea burned was later cleaned and replaced by none other than this head maid over here. In fact, he understood that she took care of the most chores since his women couldn't be bothered about it since they had cultivation, children, or him in mind.

"Well, sorry about that." He returned his gaze to her, "However, if you wish to work as an official head maid, then I welcome you. What kind of wage do you prefer? What you're doing is unpaid la-"

But instantly, Esvele shook her head.

"That's already taken care of just by living here. I get free cultivation resources from senior sister Shirley all the time. Freya even gave me a diluted drop of her Emperor-Tier Blood Essence. Even if I use hundreds and thousands of years, I doubt I could repay senior sister in this lifetime."

There was a sense of pride in Esvele's voice.

Feeling suspicious over how self-aware Esvele was, Davis activated his karmic sight.

However, he saw that there wasn't anything strange covering Esvele, which meant that she was not possessed or influenced. Furthermore, that tiny thread that connected her with Shirley and had a bit of red was fully blue, indicating loyalty and friendship.

This meant she finally got over the crush she had on Shirley, but it also meant that her fate was undergoing changes all the time, even making her so calm that she didn't feel intimidated or flustered in his presence anymore.

"Staying with Divergents is bad for your health." He asserted.

However, Esvele blinked.

"I know, but can't I decide where to live and die?"

"You could, but I decide who gets to be here. You want to leave suddenly? You need to ask me."

"Forgive my rudeness."

Davis pointed towards the exit, causing Esvele to lower her head.

"Haha. You're good." Davis saw that Esvele instantly realized that she had spoken a bit too much and apologized.

He shook his head, "Keep doing what you were doing, and you will be rewarded even if you refuse."

He took out a spatial ring and grabbed her hand, placing it on her palm.

"If you want anything or need crystals to manage the household, don't hesitate to use this as funds. Also, your senior sister has allocated some resources for you, so go get them later on."

"This... I-"

"See you later."

Davis bid Esvele farewell and went towards the direction where he could sense Flamerose and Frostrose.

Esvele stared at his figure that left before she moved her gaze to the spatial ring she held for a while as she realized that it contained a billion High-Level Immortal Crystals.

"What did I do in my previous life to deserve this much…?"

She lightly muttered and heaved a light sigh before she wore the spatial ring Davis gave her with a satisfied smile, quickly getting back to reaping the fruits before she left to prepare some fresh juice for the ladies.
