Divine Emperor of Death

3319 Restriction From Tribulation

Davis's eyes were half-open as he rested on the big bed while being surrounded by his beauties, but his voice was still firm as he explained, so the others were able to see what happened as though they were present there with him.

They couldn't help but feel killing Ancestor Reselius Zenflame sooner rather than later was the right choice as he had so many escaping methods. Even Myria was a bit surprised by Ancestor Reselius Zenflame's ability as his ability to escape matched some infamous Divergents she knew about.

Nonetheless, the information about the Heavenly Water Tribulation was shocking to everyone present here.

Myria's gaze shook as she finally remembered. Even Tia's gaze flashed with a vague memory, but she couldn't recall it no matter how she tried.

"No way… to obtain this kind of Blood Essence Orb… how many phoenixes were refined…?"

Shirley looked at the jade container Davis took out of his spatial ring.

The Blood Essence Orb was at the Peak-Level Immortal Emperor Stage and was solely coalesced with a large amount of Fire Phoenix Blood Essence. Holding the jade container in her hands and looking at the Blood Essence Orb sealed inside the jade container, she couldn't take her eyes off of it as two teardrops unwittingly ran down her face.

How many phoenixes were sacrificed to make this? Ten thousand? A hundred thousand? Or merely a thousand Immortal Emperor Beasts…?

"There's no way the Zenflame Clan can kill so many phoenixes and let it be unknown." Mingzhi comforted Shirley as she rubbed her shoulder, "This is most likely from the refinement of Fire Phoenixes who died in battles or similar cases."

"Even so… this is blasphemy…" Shirley sniffled.

"Right…" Yilla nodded, "I have never heard of any sort of power that upholds justice would engage in this sort of refinement. But as for the wicked path, we do even more crazy things you wouldn't have heard of."

"This one thing is alone enough evidence to frame Reselius as the villain of the era…"

Lanqua's lips curled as she eyed the Blood Essence Orb before gazing at Davis, "Are you going to reveal this monstrous treasure and expose the Zenflame Clan, husband?"

"I have no need to paint a picture. After all, I'm just an Anarchic Divergent who people want to see me disappear in the end. Reselius is dead, and I have no use for this as a tool to influence people's opinions, as I'm not trying to survive but already have the upper hand. On the other hand, I was hoping it could be useful to Shirley or one of us as I don't see how this is useful to me other than being able to do some experiments with it like a spiritual alchemist."

Tina and Dalila couldn't help but smile as they remembered Epsila.

Shirley wiped her face off her tears and smiled lightly at his joke before she opened her mouth.

"This won't be useful to me… I'm absorbing King-Tier Blood and can't have this diluting what I already have. Besides, I have an equivalent amount of Ice Phoenix Blood, so disturbing it would rather cause my cultivation to have many flaws at the very least."

"Indeed. It is very dangerous for Shirley to absorb it." Myria agreed, "You should keep it until you have a spark of insight, as you seem to be capable of birthing the strangest lifeforms in the universe that have the potential to wipe out realms."

This time, everyone was reminded of Calypsea, causing them to giggle.

"Stranger and calamitous than the child the two of you are going to have?" However, Evelynn interjected.

"…"

Her voice was jovial, and there didn't seem to be a rude meaning behind it, but still, everyone was moved by how bold she was towards Myria, making them think 'as expected of big sister'.

Myria pursed her lips as she trembled.

It wasn't like she didn't think of it, but she didn't dare to think of it.

Would their union be the universe's first union of two Anarchic Divergents? Even if they were not, she could definitely imagine that they were the first two Anarchic Divergents with a record of facing more than six Paragon Magical Beasts in their tribulations to get together.

More than expectant, she was worried, as she might never be able to conceive, considering the factors involved.

This reminded her of the Heavenly Yin Tribulation that she would face when entering the Immortal Emperor Stage.

This kind of tribulation's sole purpose was to strike her soul and cause her to die, but if that didn't work, attack her ability to reproduce as a woman. Sometimes, she wondered if getting hit with the Heavenly Yin Tribulation caused her soul physique to be damaged and, hence, have so many flawed rebirths.

However, she was able to clear it with ease, so she didn't think she was affected by Heavenly Yin Tribulation in any way.

But on the off-chance, she did get pregnant with his child, then she didn't know how the heavens would react to such a child as she hadn't heard of an Anarchic Divergent couple before.

Turning to look at Davis, her brows squinted.

"You better be careful not to let your Immortal Emperor Tribulation's Heavenly Yang Tribulation harm you too much. Otherwise, it could result in lowering your ability to reproduce by varying margins."

"What!?"

It wasn't Davis who had his head blown but the ladies as they fumed.

Their collective gazes that were full of worry fell on his little brother, causing Davis to chuckle.

"Haha. What's the use of worrying about that? I won't cross to the Immortal Emperor Stage for the time being, remember?"

'The binding teleportation rune that's etched in him…' Myria inwardly sighed.

If Davis ever tried to undergo his Immortal Emperor Tribulation or even accidentally triggered it from overload in his cultivation, then he would be transported out in an instant, sparing the First Haven World of his calamitous nature.

The others had also heard about this binding rune, but knowing that it was only insurance for the World Master to allow him to stay here, they didn't say anything. Rather, they couldn't do anything, so they didn't dwell on it as it only made them want to get back at the World Master, which was no different than suicide, according to Davis.

He told them to forget about ever getting back at such a being, for the World Master was nearly omnipotent here.

"Well, what Reselius said about Heavenly Water Tribulation is true."

Myria diverted the topic from him being restricted, and this topic was something that instantly garnered everyone's attention.

"The Heavenly Water Tribulation starts at the beginning of every tribulation. Due to being a Saintess and saving many important lives as well as multiple realms before I was acknowledged for being Divine and was ousted as a Fiend, I also experienced it during my Immortal Emperor Tribulation."

"Wait… it also works for Anarchic Divergents…?" Davis blinked.

"A law is a law." Myria firmly stated, "Even the heavens wouldn't change it unless you provoked something to happen, so don't you dare badmouth it if at all you have the chance to receive the Heavenly Water Tribulation."

"Aha…"

Davis could only laugh as he provoked the heavens to make it angry and send more heavenly essences to him, but if it was going to send him some help, then he would choose to keep his mouth shut.
