Divine Emperor of Death

3361 Into The Heart Of The Dragon-Phoenix Alliance

Davis and the others alighted from the Earth Dragon Clan's battleship.

However, he saw many other battleships behind him, one even following closely with theirs, which was none other than the Aurora Cloud Gate's battleship.

From that battleship descended three elders that made Davis blink, not expecting to see these three as he hadn't seen them from the time the Godwin Family was eradicated.

They were none other than Elder Earthsaber, Elder Whitejoy, and Elder Frostbite!

He raised his brows as he could sense their true cultivation from their undulations, which was at Level Four Immortal Emperor Stage. Weren't their cultivation cut off because they were crippled?

What happened?

As for their prowess, he knew it was two levels higher, but for some reason, he could tell they were more powerful than it seemed.

As they approached him, Davis took a look around and saw the other battleships.

They were naturally from the Dragon Alliance and the Phoenix Alliance.

The Fire Dragon Clan, Golden Dragon Clan, Water Dragon Clan, Earth Dragon Clan, Wind Dragon Clan, Lightning Dragon Clan, Light Dragon Clan, and the Dark Dragon Clan's battleships were here.

As for the Phoenix Alliance, he saw the Ice Phoenix Clan, Fire Phoenix Clan, Golden Phoenix Clan, Wind Phoenix Clan, Light Phoenix Clan, and the Dark Phoenix Clan's battleships.

They all arrived at the same time as him, making him wonder if the battleship they traveled in adjusted its speed to accommodate all the other battleships' time to reach here, making it possible for such a scene to occur.

"Brat! Look at you. You're all grown into a calamity that haunts children in their dreams."

Elder Earthsaber laughed as he came closer, but suddenly, he shuddered ever so lightly, looking at his vision falling to the floor as it hit the platform.

He was beheaded.

He didn't even see it coming.

*Gasp!~*

But suddenly, he took a deep breath and caught his neck with his palms, sensing that his head was still attached to his neck.

"Tsk, tsk. I'm still more powerful than you." Davis cupped his hands, "Long time no see, Elders.'

"You-!"

Elder Earthsaber pointed at Davis with a dumbfounded expression, unable to believe he was trapped in an illusion by the strongest Immortal King brat.

The pride that he had regained after so long was squashed just like that.

"What happened?"

Elder Whitejoy and Elder Frostbite also cupped their hands towards Davis but turned to look at Elder Earthsaber, wondering what he was so disturbed about. On the other hand, Myria shook her head, knowing Davis used Illusion Laws to stump Elder Earthsaber.

However, she was surprised that his Illusion Laws reached such a level, perhaps only a bit away from reaching Level Three Quiddity.

"Fine, fine. You win. I will stop calling you a brat."

Elder Earthsaber shook his head as he could now see why Davis was heralded as the strongest Immortal King who would even put Mid Stage Immortal Emperors to shame. He heaved a sigh and looked at Myria.

"Many thanks, Fairy Myria. Without your pills, we would not have been able to recover."

"It's not a problem. I was in your debt during the Godwin Family's situation, and Saintess Lunaria asked for me to heal you three for this occasion if I wanted to take you three, so I merely thought it would be better to have you three accompany us on this occasion."

Myria spoke in an indifferent manner before turning around and walking ahead, leaving the three elders appearing like they were moved beyond compare.

Davis blinked, unable to believe even elders with wisdom would be mesmerized by Myria's beauty or kindness.

He raised his hand, causing them to be startled before he chuckled to turn around and follow Myria.

"Wah, look at him wallow in his arrogance…"

Elder Earthsaber complained as he raised his hand and pointed again.

"Well, if you're going to gawk at his woman, I don't see why he should be restraining his hands."

Elder Whitejoy shook his head, causing Elder Earthsaber to act surprised.

"What? His woman?"

"You don't know?"

"You know?"

"I don't know." Elder Whitejoy shook his head again before shrugging.

"But if he's courting her, do you think you could do anything about it?"

"But she- she's Saintess Lunaria's personal disciple! Don't you think we should protect her from all kinds of harm? Isn't that why we're sent here?"

Elder Earthsaber asked before he continued, "We were essentially crippled, unable to make progress in our cultivation for many centuries millenniums. If we don't repay her, I won't be at ease."

"We could see what's going on and make decisions from there."

Elder Frostbite simply uttered and followed Davis and the others while the two other elders also looked at each other before they followed.

They were clueless as to how things were between the Emperor of Death and Fairy Myria.

"So this is what Saintess Lunaria talked to you about when she spoke with you in your mansion."

Davis sent Myria a soul transmission, causing her to nod her head.

"Those elders have honorable achievements and are particularly in-name disciples of Elder Aradiel Furiose. Apparently, the latter asked Saintess Lunaria to heal them ever since she came out of seclusion to meet you, but she couldn't do that because she didn't like to interfere with the world easily, so she had me do it. With that, the debts we had and I owe those three elders are cleared."

"Clearly, they're trying to repay you more." Davis chuckled.

The Patriarchs from the Dragon-Phoenix Alliance also accompanied them. While Patriarch Klavius Rocksunder was here, Founder Rocksunder was also here, but they didn't make contact with him or Isabella.

They all followed Grand Elder Kirana Rocksunder, who led them to the core region of the headquarters.

Contrary to one's expectations, this place wasn't grand.

It was quite simple and was similar to the Aurora Cloud Gate's outer regions, where cultivators live and work like ordinary people catering to the farm and magical beasts, living in harmony.

However, as they got nearer to the core region, the frugal buildings turned more classic before they got much more luxurious.

They finally arrived at a city that was also called a merchant city that connected all the Clans of the Dragon-Phoenix Alliance. However, only goods came here and not many people, leaving it a quiet city despite being a merchant city.

After arriving at the city, they moved further south and finally appeared at a hidden location hidden at the top of the mountains. They were already met with clouds and felt like they were sliding in the air even while walking in this space that appeared to be constricted.

It seems that one couldn't fly here even if they were a Late Stage Immortal Emperor, which astonished the newcomers as many present, even though they were part of the alliance, had never been allowed to near this place.

The defensive formation was so strong that Davis didn't doubt it might possibly be able to one-shot him if it were an offensive formation.

Amidst the silent journey, they soon arrived at a mansion where a maid was waiting for them. She bowed and led them inside, allowing them to be seated inside when, finally, two figures approached them with their hands grasped together.
