Divine Emperor of Death

3531 Uniting The Harem?

Davis appeared as though he couldn't bear this situation, deeming it all his fault, and left.

At the same time, Eldia blinked, wondering why most beauties in front of her looked solemn or sobbing.

Just a decade of separation? To her, it was nothing. She felt like she could wait and didn't feel it was a big deal.

Lea also sighed. She understood the emotions of these children as she also felt sad but if it was only a decade or two, she could wait without a problem but for these children who didn't live past hundred or two hundred years, they would find this heartbreaking.

"Evelynn, are you fine?"

Lea walked to Evelynn and asked, causing Evelynn to smile lightly even though her eyes were moist and her nose red.

"I'm fine. I expected this outcome, so at least I am glad that he came back to us to say goodbye."

"Yes~" Lea smiled.

The goodbye put her heart at ease, but she could see that it caused a few others to feel heartbroken. However, she suddenly noticed Mingzhi, who was glaring at Myria with unconcealed killing intent.

Myria was also looking back at Mingzhi, not avoiding gazes.

The tension became so heightened that the sobbing ones began to feel it too, causing Mingzhi to approach her with gait. However, she suddenly stopped when she saw Isabella standing in front of Myria, seizing her hands.

"Why did you bring him here?" Isabella raised her voice, "You do understand that-"

"It's alright."

Myria interrupted calmly, "If you all say I shouldn't be with him, then I won't be with him because my intentions aren't to hurt you or anyone else. If I can't be with him, that's fine. It isn't anything new to me that I always don't get what I want and end up miserable instead."

"However, my heart will always be with him."

Myria's expression was still calm.

However, her eyes turned moist, and tears started dripping out. She trembled ever so lightly, blinking a few times before she walked out of the hall, even flying faster when she turned around the hallway.

"Please, please, please! Please understand their situation! I'll explain it all, so please wait!"

Ellia also barely stopped her tears as she never saw her mother like that before she pleaded to all and followed after Myria.

"..."

Her heartfelt words got across to Evelynn and the others, causing them to stop crying.

They couldn't bear to see their cheerful Ellia look so despondent. She was always there to soothe their hearts whenever they were worried about something.

They couldn't help but feel she was right.

Myria was one of them too, so why were they against it? But allowing her to sleep with him might flicker him away from this world and even get him in danger. It might even get Myria in danger, so it didn't seem to be a good decision at all!

"The harem council does not gather to put one of us in the cold palace."

Abruptly, Mingzhi's voice echoed, her gaze sharp, "That's the work of the Law Enforcement Department, which is mine, and I say we-"

She paused, casting a gaze at all of them.

"-we all pat ourselves on the back and make him owe one for this mess he created."

"..."

Evelynn and the others blinked, some looking at each other as though they didn't expect Mingzhi to be calm about this matter when she had just burst forth with killing intent.

"You all look like I would suggest poisoning her or something. Like it would work~"

Mingzhi scoffed lightly, holding her arm as her lips curled with a wry smile.

"Ellia is right. I was in my feelings when I displayed my killing intent against Myria, but if you all gathered together to stop me from being together with him just because he was going to be separated from you all, then I would feel abandoned too, which was what Myria probably felt when she walked away."

Tina's heart shook, and so did a few others who were close to Myria.

They were so emotional that they failed to consider Myria's emotions. After all, he was gone, leaving them feeling aggrieved, hateful or at the very least disappointed in Myria as they felt like she took him away from them.

However, that was not the case.

Myria returned with Davis, demonstrating she didn't deceive them.

"If you still can't forgive her, that's fine."

Mingzhi patted her bosoms, "So as shameless as I am and want to prevent such a future for myself or anyone else here, I ask that you all vote for Myria."

"Mingzhi, you don't have to share the contempt we cast at Myria. This is his harem, and if he makes a decision to die, we all die. It is as simple as that~"

Natalya grinned. From the start to the end, she didn't break character at all as she had full belief he would return if he was dead, a blindingly zealous belief that would be considered scary for far too many.

"…" Mingzhi blinked.

Some suddenly wished they could think like her, zealous and devoted enough to believe that nothing would happen to him and that they could reunite without a problem.

Ellia also returned.

However, when she came back, everyone consoled her, leaving her speechless.

Nonetheless, everyone heard her thoughts as she told them the story about Myria's rebirth in more detail, and they couldn't help but sympathize and become united.

Without missing a mark, Davis returned.

He appeared in the very place he disappeared, appearing indifferent as he looked around. Everyone was gathered, and the harem council's voting mechanism was present, which appeared to have been moved here.

"Weren't you here all this time?" Mingzhi smiled at him, trying to see through his expression.

However, Davis still didn't smile.

"No. I had some time to arrange some things, so I handed over all matters to Yotan and a few others. You won't have to worry about Black Claymore or anything else, Mingzhi. You can safely train and oh— congratulations on mutating your physique. I hope I could see it before I leave…"

"Why don't you show your sleazy smile already? And I will show it!"

Mingzhi marched towards him, raising her fist, but Ellia came forward and blocked her, taking her back.

"Look at him! How dare he-!"

Mingzhi's expression scrunched up as she pointed at him, looking like she was going to cry at how he looked.

It was almost as though he put up a wall, making her aggrieved.

"No, he's not. He's just acting tough or sulky…" Ellia consoled.

She saw that Mingzhi's soul wasn't stable with her new soul physique, making her finally understand the reason why she was going all over the place, showing killing intent and whatnot.

Otherwise, Mingzhi would be calm and face this situation better than they would.

"Of course, I'm going to be sulky. No matter the decision, I'll be doing something horrible. This is not what you call stuck between a rock and a hard place but literally crushed underneath a rock, barely trying to survive. I figure I may have to do this a lot in the true immortal world, so- why don't we start now?"

Davis panned his gaze, his voice turning cold at the end of his sentence.

It made the others shudder, unable to believe it was him.

However, Evelynn approached him with a smiling face and reached out her hand towards him when Davis raised his hand-
