Time flew by and five days later, on a beautiful morning, Jiang Ying Yue was awoken by Lin Hui early in the morning for breakfast.

But the weird part was, she was asked to dress up neatly and nicer compared to what she always wear. She was bewildered but after seeing the anxious expressions of her family during breakfast, she could roughly guess why.

During breakfast, they looked left and right and Li Mei Hua kept on asking the Jiang brothers on the preparations.

"Jiang Qiu, have you made sure that all the servants and the housekeeper know about the arrival of guest?"

"Jiang Quan, have you double confirm with our cook of our lunch menu for today?"

"Jiang Xiang, make sure when our guest is here you sit obediently and don't run your mouth rampant. He is our honorable guest."

Eh? Mother gave all the important tasks to his brothers but not him. She only asked him to keep his mouth shut? Jiang Xiang was not satisfied.

Jiang Xiang looked at his mother with a very unsatisfied expression. "Mother, is my mouth that bad to you? Am I someone who doesn't know how to read the situation?"

"YES!"

3 voices shouted in unison.

They really thought of him that way. Who doesn't know of his unruly mouth? It was good enough if he could just keep his mouth shut lest making their guest not wanting Jiang Ying Yue's master not wanting her to be his disciple anymore because of him.

Maybe, if Jiang Rong was here, he would say yes too. But he was at the court this morning.

"Hmph! Alright for Yue'er, I will try my best to keep my mouth shut."

This was only for Yue'er alright? He will show them that he could behave well too.

Li Mei Hua was truly anxious.

The guest was a person with a great status ah! Even the emperor had to give him some face.

Following after that, all the family members started to greet him one by one, including Jiang Ying Yue.

Yan Hua received their greetings politely. "Thank you for the warm welcome. I have long heard of the general's achievements for this country along with your sons' talents."

Jiang Rong accepted his praise humbly. "Ah, my small achievement cannot be much compared to your great achievements elder Yan Hua. I have long heard of your name as an well known alchemist across the three empires. I really do respect you. Please have a seat."

His potions and pills would amount to millions of taels if it was sold in an auction. He was among the only few people in the three empires that could make premium grade potions and pills with over 90 percent potency.

In this world, the potions and pills were divided into 3 grades- low (below 50 percent potency), medium (below 70 percent potency), high (below 85 percent potency) and premium (above 86 percent potency).

This explained why his masterpieces could reach up to sky-high price just for one pill.

Yan Hua did not refute what Jiang Rong said to be him. He wanted to discuss the matter straight to the point.

"General, I came here today to discuss the matter of Jiang Ying Yue being my disciple and me curing her poison for her. I am pretty sure she has told you of the occurrence the other day. I told her that if she wanted me to cure her poison, she has to be my disciple. Not to hide it from you, the poison is a very complicated one and it is the reason why she could not cultivate and her health deteriorating throughout the years. In fact, in my estimation, if the poison is not expelled, she will only have 3 to 5 years more to live."

Li Me Hua thought she was already prepared of hearing regarding Jiang Ying Yue's poison but hearing that she only had 3 to 5 years more to live, she was struck dumb.

Seeing his wife's distressed expression, he silently moved his hand and held Li Mei Hua's hand. He too, was feeling distressed.

Yan Hua chuckled. He was not affected by their gloomy mood at all.

"Madam, do not worry. I have already stated my price and Jiang Ying Yue has agreed to it. She already accepted to be my disciple. However.. there is another matter that I want to discuss with you today.."
