"Blood Moon curse?" Jiang Ying Yue tilted her head slightly with a slight frown.

Long Xing patiently explained. "Yes. Blood Moon curse. Both you and I have the same curse. This curse means the power of destruction. A long time ago, before I was even a devil, I was a normal cultivator. But I grew faster than my peers and I unlocked my full potential at the age of 15 years old. I already felt weird about my condition back then but by chance, I entered an old tomb and there, I found an ancient text."

Long Xing then took a deep breath as if to reminisce his past. "I took it and found out about this curse. Only the people with this curse will have red eyes and red crescent moon shaped symbol on their foreheads. And that will only appear if that person has unlocked their full potential and at the same time, successfully awaken the Blood Moon curse."

Then Long Xing continued talking about his story and the curse.

Apparently, this curse held tremendous amount of power. Its host would be the most talented person but at the same time, it held great danger. Once the curse had been successfully awakened, the person must control his or her emotions or the dark element in his body would slowly grow and take over his soul and mind making him a full devil.

By then, no one could stop the massacre. The more people the person kill after full devil transformation, the more thirst for blood. And only a pure blood descendant of the Moon Empire in the West Continent would be getting the curse. As to when and who, no one knew.

So, one thing was clear for now. Jiang Ying Yue was originally from Moon Empire of the West Continent.

Back then, when he successfully awoken his full potential thus unsealing the Blood Moon curse in his body, an old man who knew about the ancient curse found out about it.

He called it calamity and tried his best to pursue Long Xing to kill him. At first, people did not believe him but after witnessing themselves how powerful Long Xing was at such a young age, they started trying to kill him too.

But Long Xing hid himself at the ancient tomb as it was underground and protected by arrays. He managed to cultivate by leap and bounds and a few years later, he got out when he thought that he could protect himself. He knew, no matter how much he try to explain, no one would listen to him as they were paranoid that he would try to people submit under him because he was too strong.

But unfortunately, he thought too naively. People were simply too cruel.

He never thought that when he went back home, he would receive such a terrible news.

His family members were caught and tortured inhumanely live in front of people for two years in order to draw him out. His grandparent and parents' limbs were cut off, skinned alive and they were fed vitality pills again and again so that they would not die and tortured all over again. Long Xing's little sister was tortured and r.a.p.ed.

Luckily, they did not know the existence of Long Xing's uncle's families as they hid themselves as a secret clan unlike Long Xing's family. His grandfather decided to make their family a famous martial family then earning their noble status in the empire. Long Xing's grandfather's little brother was the ancestor of Jiang Ying Yue.

The people who tried to help Long Xing's family were killed mercilessly and their entire family was exterminated. Since then, no one tried to help them again.

Who would go against the power of the imperial family and a famous clan in the country? Yes, the one who did this was the Emperor of Moon Empire and the old man was from the Fu Clan.

So, that was why Long Xing said he had been waiting for Jiang Ying Yue to appear.

But the old man who pursued to kill Long Xing did not know this. He only knew a person with the Blood Moon curse would appear.

And after 2 years of torture and not seeing any sight of Long Xing, the Emperor killed Long Xing's family in his rage. He did not want anyone to threaten his throne especially someone as strong as Long Xing.

After hearing the news from his neighbor and seeing that person's memory, Long Xing let hatred and rage clouded his heart.

What kindness? What pity? All those were bullshit!

Slowly, his brown hair turned ink black and his hazel eyes turned ink black pupil with red iris, just like Jiang Ying Yue's current eyes.

The Moon Empire's emperor and Fu clan received the news that Long Xing was back thus they went to where he was immediately. Arriving at the place, they were stumped to see his hair was now ink black and his weird eyes.

War broke out and Long Xing killed people one after another. He let the devil broke free and his eyes turned full red. Not even a trace of white could be seen.

That was it. Long Xing had totally turned into a devil and he managed to kill the Emperor and the Fu clan.

But it was too late too stop. He was thirsty for blood.

He killed people one after another, even the innocents and at the last moment, he fell into a trap thus sealing him in a jade plate. His only friend managed to hide to jade plate as he disguised himself as one of the enemies and managed to ran away. He passed the jade plate to his descendants and another until the person found the girl who was supposedly the female carrier of the Blood Moon curse which was Jiang Ying Yue.
