Jiang Ying Yue sprinted by using qinggong with all her might while following after trails left behind by her teammates.

Soon, she caught up to them and while running, she tossed a pill to each person and they caught it.

Liu Weimin didn't ask anything and directly took it. Seeing his action, Han Jinghua who was behind him swallowed the pill too followed by Han Jianyu.

He instantly felt his wounds closing up and he stopped bleeding. He was astonished but he had no time to ask or think of anything.

They could run for safety now!

It was a dark night and with the thick canopy of trees, the could barely see around them.

In less than 5 minutes however, sound of wolves howling was heard by the team. Jiang Ying Yue knew that the poison wouldn't work well on them as their rank was much higher than hers.

The ground tremored once more and sure enough, the wolves were chasing after them!

Why?

They ran and ran until they reached huge area devoid of trees. They all paused.

The area in front of them had no tree at all; not even a single plant! They had to make a decision fast!

But of course, before they could make any decision, the figures of the wolves running appeared before their eyes.

The group of teenagers could only brace themselves and ran to the 'dead' area. Why? Because the soil on the area was black in color. It was literally like a dead land.

The wolves paused right in front of the area and looked at them.

'Why did the wolves pause?'

Jiang Ying Yue had a bad premonition in her heart but she knew that this was the best decision she could make for now.

Aauuu!

The leader of the wolves howled loudly. The howl broke through the quiet night and was particularly ear-splitting.

The other wolves moved and stepped into the dead land under the leader's command and started chasing after them.

Running was deemed useless and Jiang Ying Yue had to fight the wolves with all her might.

Boom!

Bang!

She clashed with them.

Her team members didn't want to be left behind and they immediately started fighting as well.

Worse come to worse, she could use her master's aura that was stored in her waist jade to save them or transform back to her original appearance to use all of her powers but she didn't want to. She still didn't trust the Han siblings fully.

Plus, she wanted to know how far she could go if she fought against the wolves. Liu Weimin was thinking the same thing as her. He had a talisman that could save them but he didn't think that they were in a situation where he should use it yet. Not yet! He could still fight!

And he would fight till the end!

Boom!

He punched one of the wolves in the stomach with his fist filled with Spiritual Qi.

Bang!

Jiang Ying Yue sliced one the wolves with the water blade that she made.

Han siblings were fighting relentlessly and they too were not going to quit!

The leader of the wolves knew that Jiang Ying Yue was the strongest among the group so he made a move to fight against her.

Although he too was at the peak of Spirit Master, he was different from his pack. His skin was thicker and tougher, he was bigger and he could gather Spiritual Qi on his claws too!

So when he made a move to scratch Jiang Ying Yue with his claws, Jiang Ying Yue could feel the pressure emanated from it!

It was oppressive and her heart trembled.

The leader gathered Spiritual Qi on his horns and 2 huge balls of fire were formed.

Boom!

It shot towards Jiang Ying Yue. She made a spin and barely avoided it before a claw came towards her body.

She didn't manage to avoid it time resulting that claw, shrouded in Spiritual Qi stabbed over her back.

Aaah! It was painful!

Her skin felt like it was on fire. Blood gushed out, staining her ivory robe that was already painted in red even redder.

Liu Weimin paused to look at her and it was at this moment one of the wolves bit his left arm.

He reacted quickly by poking the wolf's eye with his wind blade, resulting in the wolf letting his arm go.

But it was still a tad too late. His arm was bleeding profusely and his face turned pale.

Jiang Ying Yue looked at him and she immediately ran towards him to help.

The leader was angry that Jiang Ying Yue ignored him and went to another human instead.

Jiang Ying Yue reached Liu Weimin's side and fed two pills to stop his bleeding. She too took one under her veil.

"I'm fine." Was all she said before he pushed him back to face all of the wolves alone.

Liu Weimin was stunned. This girl pushed him and wanted to fight the wolves alone!

It was then he saw the gruesome wound on her back. It was a 4 huge streaks wound and the skin around it was burned. How painful it must've been? And yet this girl still wanted to safe him?!

Bullshit!

Liu Weimin got up and immediately fought the wolves too!

Jiang Ying Yue knew that she had to do something about this.

She made a decision!

Slowly, she closed her eyes and her aura started changing.

The wolves stopped fighting due to the fearsome aura that was coming from her.

This was danger!

Even Liu Weimin and the Han siblings looked at her, astonished.

What was this aura?

They felt -fear. It was like the aura of a sovereign looking over the land from above.

It was dark, sinister and superior.

When she opened her eyes, it was red!

The symbol on her forehead changed to crescent moon and it was glowing red!

Winds started surging from all direction and it felt like the world was about to end.

Dark cloud started hovering over the sky and thunder was heard!

At the same time, they all saw Jiang Ying Yue's hair started changing color to silver.

Coupled with her ivory robe that was painted in red, she looked like a devil.

Winds started blowing more heavily and you could even hear whistling sound due to the strong wave of it.

The wolves felt fear!

They were scared!

But before Jiang Ying Yue could attack them, the ground started cracking at a fast speed. The dead land was cracking as if it was waking up from sleep.

All of them tried to run but it was too late.

The ground shook as if it was earthquake and the cracks got even bigger till it separated all of them from one another.

"Becareful!" Jiang Ying Yue shouted.

It was then all of them fell into the cracks and all they could see was darkness before they fainted.
