Don't Look

As soon as the figure stood above her a flip switched in her. Kida let out a primal scream as she positioned herself into a slouch ready to fight. Though a swift hard punch to her cheek sent her flying down into the ground.

Angie turned around and glared as she tried to pull out a knife she had in her pocket. Though Hank quickly reached over and grabbed her by her wrist and lifted it above her head.

"What are you doing Angie." He got out in a low voice as he glared down at the smaller woman.

"Doing what you wanted." She got out as she struggled to get her wrist free. "Shes leaving isnt she?? I dont see what the problem is!"

"Shes leaving in the middle of the night. People saw you sneaking around earlier today. What are you giving her??"

"Does it matter?? What the f.u.c.k is your problem!!!" She cried out hoping to gather attention from the guards outside. Which it did, unfortunately when they ran other they had their guns pointed at Kida and Angie.

"You see one thing I realized is that people with trauma tend to wake up at the weirdest times…. Sometimes in the middle of the night. " He leaned down to Angies face before a hand went up and grabbed her jaw holding it tightly. "They also tend to tell you whatever you ask them. Like how they were rescued by a monster…. Or how… It seemed to be all over that girl like it was its own child..." He whispered as he squeezed her jaw tighter causing Angie to cry out in pain slightly.

"Now while i wanted her to leave at first. I realized that shes far to dangerous to keep alive. If she finds out about how she can lead this thing around and to do her bidding. How much longer until she gets the others to follow her? How much longer until she comes back and kills us all???"

"You're basing this of what ifs?????" she struggled in his hold. "WHAT IFS!! Shes a child in an a.d.u.l.t body!! Shes been alone for ages! IF SHE WANTED US DEAD SHE WOULD HAVE KILLED US ALREADY" Angie struggled now, angry that someone would be so blind to the point where they would willingly kill someone for something they didnt know anything about. She didnt know anything about this. She doesnt even know where she came from.

"It doesnt matter. Im the leader of this group. What i say goes. Because unlike you. Leaving that risk in her hands is something that I can not and will not do." He slammed Angie back into the partially open gate before he dropped her. He walked over to Kida pulling out a knife from its hip holder before he grabbed her by the hair and lifted her up.

Kida cried out in pain before she began her primal cry again. Her hands quickly shooting up to grab his wrist, her legs swinging wildly unsure on what to do anymore, her cries got louder.

"Dont worry child. Ill make sure its quick and painless for you." He said as raised the knife to Kidas neck, taking a moment to the others looked like he was praying to whatever god he worshipped. Before he pulled the blade across there was a deep and loud screech that made everyone jump in fear. There were the loud thuds of footsteps before the chain link fence creaked loudly as it was being ripped apart.

"WH….AT… AR…. YOU… DO..ING TO….MY…. BAABYYYY" The horrible voice screeched as the thuds got louder. Angie watched in horror as a figure began running to them. It looked like a woman whos head was twisted to her shoulder, her arms growing longer as she seemed to hunch. The sound of the crunching snow was overcome by the loud cracking of her bones, it sounded like everything was breaking. Each person watched as bone began to poke out of the skin before it ripped through. Liquid went flying but it never touched the snow, it seemed to turn into steam almost. As the figure got closer they saw the pure white eyes staring down at them, the skin around its lips pulling back as it continued to rip, showing its full jaw of sharp teeth. Soon it loomed over all of them as its long hand came up and slashed down on the two guards. Cutting into them deeply as it left four claw marks down their body, blood and chunks of guts landing in the snow. Hank quickly dropped Kida and his knife as he took a few steps back, his eyes wide in fear.

They could change, from monster into human. How the f.u.c.k could they do that? Angie watched in horror before she snapped out of it when she heard Kida land in the snow. She took a deep breath before she quickly crawled over as the monster began tearing the two guards apart. She pulled Kida close to her as she hid her face in her neck.

"Keep your eyes shut Kida. If you cant see her, she cant see you!!" Angie cried out as she held Kida as close as she could. Hank continued to stare at the monster before it quickly turned her head to him, her neck cracking loudly as it was bent at a horrible angle. Hank watched its face turn into a normal woman's face, the white eyes turning into brown ones. It was to beautiful for him to look away.

"Why….Would you… Hurt my… Baby." It stated before the face looked angry and it quickly shifted back into a monster as it quickly lunged at him. Its sharp teeth quickly tearing into his neck, ripping its head back causing blood to go flying. As the body fell to the ground it quickly reached up and grabbed the middle of the c.h.e.s.t before it pulled apart effortlessly. Angie held Kida close and tightly before she took a deep breath.

"No matter what keep your eyes closed…" She whispered to her before she looked up from the ground to the monster infront of her. She almost screamed when she noticed how close it truly was to her. Angie stared into her eyes as their noses touched.

"I-I… P-please… Dont hurt the others… In this camp. Dont hurt Kida. I-If you must… T-Then kill me." Angie said as bravely as she could though her voice still shook. Her breath was uneven as her grip on Kida tightened.

The beast quickly flipped her body around so that it was truly facing her before he stood up straight and began to walk back to the gates.

"Dont….Hurt….my….baby…" She got out as she faded into the darkness, the footsteps getting softer until they werent heard anymore. Angie shook horribly as she realized she just looked death in the face and lived. Before she realized that they could no longer stay here because after tonight they were no longer truly safe at the camp.
