Doulou Dalu: Reborn As Tang San

I wake up slightly groggy and dizzy. Speaking about reincarnation, I seem to still be in the w.o.m.b of my new mother, but I think I will be born soon because I feel fully developed. I try to open my eyes to look around, it is red everywhere and I seem to be submerged in liquids. 

While I was thinking stupid delusions of what my awesome spirit could be, the fluids in which I was floating in suddenly drained out of my mother's w.o.m.b. Hearing her muffled screaming I know that it was almost time for me to be born. Not long later I feel the walls around me start to contract, pushing me towards the only exit, and suddenly I was born! 'Hahaha I am finally born, today marks the birth of a new future GodKin-'

Gaa, aahhh! How come those Mcs from webnovels not find this painful!?

For you see a foetus doesn't use its lungs for breathing inside the w.o.m.b. Ever. So during birth, the baby is forced to breathe on its own for the first time, expanding its lungs which causes pain and suffering. Hence, the baby cries - or more precisely - gasps for air. This 'cry' of the baby is actually a strong respiratory effort, thereby aiding the baby in its first breath. This is also why newborns don't produce tears on their first cry. Because it's not really a cry, it's a gasp for air.

Shortly after my painful suffering, I was placed in my mother's arms. I open my eyes to look at her, she has silvery white hair, and blue eyes that give a sort of chilling feel. The woman took the child into her arms, turned at the man who was guarding her and chided. 

"San….. Tang San, it's a nice name don't you think??

'Wait, Tang san!? like the main character, that Tang San!? Damn you god!'

Being unable to hold the feeling of despair and helplessness. I did what most men would probably do in my place; cry... and cry again, to the point where you begin to feel tired and fall into the comfortable embrace of sleep. As it is often better to sleep on a problem than beating yourself up about it.

Suddenly, I don't feel tired anymore and I opened my eyes. I was in a massive expanse of land, with a pool of water in the centre of the realm. To the side of the pool was a large stone plaque, and on the other side, there was a large platform with a formation circle on the ground. Understanding that this is my Violet Jade Immortal Realm I quickly move towards the stone plaque to see its abilities.

[Violet Jade Immortal Realm: A special realm in which time flows differently from the outside. The only human that can enter the realm is the owner of the realm. The owner of the realm can only use the Violet Jade Immortal Realm for 8 real world hours per day. Can be used to store/retrieve items and raise fauna and flora. Level of realm increases with each Spirit Ring. Current level: First Level

First Level Benefits:

- Time flows at a rate of 100 :1 (100 hours in VJIR : 1-hour real world).

- Spirit Energy is 20 times as abundant

- Access to the 1st level of Spirit Ascension Realm (locked until spirit awakening)

- Size of realm: 1km x 1km]

Since I am still a baby there isn't much for me to do except sit… well, lay here and meditate. Cultivating Spirit Energy in this realm is about 20 times as effective compared to the outside world. For the whole 100 hours inside the realm I cultivated my spirit energy; luckily, I spent most of my previous life in solitude, so staying a couple hours on my own means nothing to me.

Now, you may be asking yourselves, what I'm currently questioning myself at this moment, and that is: 'How do you even cultivate.' Well I can tell 'How not to cultivate' and that's accidentally exploding your heart by pumping energy into it; Thank god the me here is only a soul copy, otherwise I may have met god sooner than expected. 

With 80 hours of trial and error, I finally came up with….nothing as of yet, although I haven't blown myself up as regularly as before during the last few l.a.p.s. But yes, more experimentation will be carried out after.

For now I shall be off to bed, as I'm quite knackered due to 4 whole days of consciousness; while my body is well rested, mentally I am exhausted.

As I awoke from my slumber, I noticed that I'm currently in my father's arms, as he was flying at great speed; tears streaming down his face and my mother not present. 

"How long was I out? I can't believe I slept through a battle of doulou; I guess being conscious for 4 whole days really drains you huh?Well, back to the matter at hand, so spirit hall huh? Yeah, they honestly have to go."

During my stay in the realm, I didn't only experiment with the spirit energy, but also I contemplated and ponder on how to make best use of my knowledge to gain the most power. 

"And one of them was joining the spirit hall, as they have the most extensive knowledge and information with regards to the spirits, as well as the going on's of the continent. But now that they have killed my mom, that option has inevitably been cross out."

Which was a bummer really, as joining spirit hall was definitely one of the best ways to grow faster. Which leaves me with the second choice: 'Follow the canon,' while I'm aware that I would end up having to work my way around some scenarios, as I do not possess the novel's Tang Sans' knowledge of the tang sect.

"Well, I have to start slowly weakening the spirit hall, honestly I wanted to avoid making a confrontation with spirit hall. But unfortunately it  is already set in stone, with reasons aside from them killing my mother and all. Is their stupid rule of removing those that threatens them in the future; either by enslaving them or killing them, which ever is the fastest." 

There are a few things that I could do to accomplish this feat

"But the best way to destroy spirit hall, is to bring the pair of mother and daughter to my side. Which is honestly easy as I have a dirty little secret that could divert their hate at spirit hall itself if its skillfully done. This plan also has an added bonus of maybe claiming those pair of woman as mine."
